Loyal To The Game was released as a B-side on the Above the Rim soundtrack and featured Treach from Naughty by Nature and Riddler. It was on the cassette version of the album but not the CD version. I originally bought the cassette and was bummed when the song was not on the CD when I upgraded my radio in my truck. I love the original version and still listen to it today.
I liked the remix but I had to vote for the version from The Show because I don't think it qualifies to be an OG, so there shouldn't have been a remix of it. But that's just me.

It was recorded for death row records in 1993 or 1994 for the Murder was the case soundtrack and never used. It was remixed in 1997 for the Gang Related Soundtrack(2pacs last movie) the original is unique because it has a nice guitar sound in the background which you don't normally here in his music.

Pac was very aware of the things coming to him, this song came out not long before he was arrested and his last song I ain’t mad at cha was the last song he recorded and released. The video to I ain’t mad at cha aired on MTV the same day he was pronounced dead.

Always a pleasure watching your reactions. The thing is about 2pac that I noticed, he chose not to be lyrical. I've heard pretty much all his songs and the most lyrical ones was his early songs from the late 80s and early 90s. Even throughout his career, he has plenty of songs where he displays his lyricism such as If I die 2nite and Ambitionz as a rider. Also most people like the OGs more and I agree with them. If you hear some of the remixes from his last two released albums, you'll realise why. Not exaggerating when I say this, hardcore 2pac fans despise the remixes because of how bad they sound. You may bump into a couple of remixes that sound good such as the my block one but Better Dayz was the last 2pac album that had alright remixes. P.S. Congratulations on 1k subscribers. Yeah the remix was way better and had a lot more feeling to it. The fact that the chrous is sang by children and they saying "Living life is but a dream, hard times is all we see, every block is kinda mean" and somebody messed up the lyrics because they really said "on our block we still pray" and not "play." That makes more sense. So yeah it's sang by children and to hear those words come from them is powerful and emotional because they feel that way at a young age and that's saying something. So yeah I'm definitely glad that they re did that song for the Better Dayz album because it was definitely better

You can call me Boomer or Brian. All good. What I enjoy most about the Tupac reactions is the stories I hear about him in the comments; and the lives that he has changed. I'm fascinated that people born after he died are just as inspired as a younger generation. I've only been listening to rap for about 6 months, so I don't have a lot of knowledge about it but I do like Pac for his lyrics. It's a shame that reaction videos don't allow for analysis of metaphors and analogies but that's what reaction videos are for: the reactor has just a few minutes to let you know what they think right after hearing a song for the first time. Another artist I like is BTNH. They are so fast. As for other genres, the artists I love have been in my life for 40+ years so Pac hasn't had time to ascend there yet. Give him time. :)

I think the kids singing makes the difference. Gives the feel that Pac reached the kids. Also gives you the feel that he's gone.
