Just picked up a gun metal grey with blue gradient pair. To me this shape is the best most iconic aviator.

I bought these. And the frame is really squeaky . It looks nice and premium, but when touching and using, they feel like a 10$ pair of sunglasses. Same problem with the new caravan. It seems something has changed in the process of builing sunglasses in the past decade at Ray Ban

That's because even the original Aviator used to be $20 and you could get them from gas stations.

You need to mention that the lenses are 2.4mm longer in height compared to Aviator Classic. Those lenses are not the same and are not interchangeable.
