The Star Wars franchise needs at least one film per year, and likely two per year, for Mando & Grogu where they can keep the lengths of each film to around 100-110 minutes. Star Wars has to be a 3-to-4 top quality projects per year to stay ahead of the copy-cat game. Remember, Lucas was vehement that the franchise is about space-aged serials with cliff-hangers and resolutions.

I'm so much looking forward to Favreau's movie and I hope itbis his movie. It is at least a good thing that Filoni now repeats what Favreau said when he presented his mandowerse. It was also much better when Favreau was in charge of it. I really hope Filoni is to busy with Ahsoka s2 so Favreau can make it his own movie.
How do you see the movie honouring Carl Weathers? His real world passing could be used as a character passing as maybe a catalyst for Mando in the movie? Maybe whilst off world something happens evoking Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru in A New Hope?
Star Wars has to get things going on the Omega vs Thrawn conflict. Omega gets captured on a mission with Hera and Ezra by Thrawn acting for Palpatine. Then Asajj, with Fennec and Boba, seek to rescue Omega. But they learn they need help from Ahsoka, and thus help in rescuing her from Peredia. Once rescued, Asajj and Fennec help Omega learn about The Force, the Night Sisters, and Assassin Martial Arts while helping on missions. Once capable, Omega returns to face-down Thrawn for control of the galaxy, disguising her intentions as courtesy to Palpatine-only to believably kill him (once again). But in doing so, Palpatine is able to get at and study Omega’s blood for Force replication abilities…
It would be terrible if the Levy Project was the 2nd of a Rey series. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a Rey series, but they would be falling into the trap they had with the Sequel Trilogy. He either needs his own movie or they need to plan and write an entire Rey trilogy. Not piece it together with different writers and directors.
Kind of crazy filming hasn’t begun. Means the movie is very far out. People attention might not be there for the movie since the last season will have happened over a year ago already.
I hope they have taken plenty of time to go through the script and tighten up the writing and be clear on the direction for the Mandoverse before they start shooting. And I hope they have plenty of time to edit and reshoot afterwards, because they rushed out the sequels, and the most of the D+ shows feel rushed. Favreau/Filoni need the time to focus on making this movie better than what we've become used to from Lucasfilm, which is half-assed productions.
I’m not really all that excited for the thrawn stuff since we know that will go nowhere due to the sequels I am interested in din and grogu though and what will become of them

Look guys, I'm a true fan of Star Wars and I just know the series. the acolyte But look, they're good shows or bad shows, so regardless of what happens, it's a great show to us and it deserves another season to be able to make up for it, OK. And besides, don't you think we all deserve more Old Republic and High Republic movies and TV shows to see how powerful and strong the Jedi were before the prequel era?
Maybe we can get the mandalorian movie trailer on Thanksgiving 2025 while the new Jedi order movie will release on December 2025 and I really wish I was in that movie. I could be the son of Luke Skywalker. Maybe Dave's star wars movie will release on December 2026. I wonder the cast of warrior series will be in Shawn Levy's star wars movie.
After the garbage season 3, I'm worried about the film. Bringing back Grou was so stupid and I'm not at all looking forward to the other projects. If Levy and Tropper will be behind another film around Rey, I'll just pass.
Not possible because filming hasn't began. Deadpool & Wolverine lands into movie theaters close to end of this month. I guess we'll get one around late this year ✅
The Mandalorian was Jon Favreau. It was not meant to launch any other thing until it took off unexpectedly. Dave's fingerprints are all over season #3 and that is where they got this grand plan. I will not say more.
One bad review away from disaster. The moment we notice a D.E.I. story line…it will all collapse. Good luck. I myself believe Star Wars Disney is over and done.
Normally I would be going to a Star Wars movie on opening weekend…..but I’ll wait for some feedback from the masses before I decide to spend the money or not. I am skeptical.
I saw a poll and nearly 80% of voters thinks The Acolyte is worse than the Sequels. I believe so. It had potential but was botched with awful writing. Since when are rocks/stones and steel flammable? 🤣 Why can't the Jedi find that witch fortress after 7 weeks using metal detectors? Az (HeelvsBabyface) made a hilarious point yesterday about Sol. Remember at the end of Episode 6 when Sol has Mae all tied up and is ready to explain to her about what happened 16 years ago in Brendok? Um, Mae was there. She was standing right there when Sol stabbed Aniseya in Episode 7. It's Osha who doesn't know any of this. Sol doesn't need to explain the incident to Mae. I still don't understand how The Acolyte had a budget of $180M? So I'm planning to watch X (2022) because I've only seen Pearl (2022) and MaXXXine (2024). X and Pearl had a budget of $1M. MaXXXine had a budget of $2M. They all make about 10x more than their budget. I'm not into horror movies but I like Mia Goth's performances. I feel more immersed in these $1M-$2M films from A24 than I do for a $180M SW series. The Acolyte focused on the wrong characters and then gave them some of the worst dialogue which makes George Lucas' screenplay look like Quentin Tarantino's. Indara could've swapped roles with Vernestra and nothing changes. Master Trinity didn't deserve to die because Sol and Torbin happened to be the aggressors. Torbin wanted to go home, Sol wanted to save kids from a religious cult. The most logical thing was to report to the Jedi Council. But it seems Torbin was in a rush to go home and maybe wanted to confront Aniseya for what she did to him. And Sol never heard the word ceremony but tells this to Indara. It seems he wants to abduct these children from them. I feel like most of these characters act completely dumb except for The Stranger (who acts dumb on purpose) and Indara. I have no excitement for the finale next week. The Rings of Power S2 is next for the Drinker to mock but he loves The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. He thinks it's the greatest trilogy. But I know he's ready to mock The Rings of Power S2 like most rage baiters. I didn't watch TRoP S1 except for the first 2 episodes but it seems The Acolyte is worse than it. So maybe TRoP S2 won't look so bad if compared to The AcoShite. If The Acolyte ever does get a S2, focus on Qimir's origin story and the Sith. Wasn't that the original concept from 4-5 years ago? Sith-centric? Only 2 years ago, some thought The Acolyte would be Palpatine's origin story. But it went a completely different route. Scooby Doo had far better mysteries than this series. But Leslye added a lesbian witch coven, uninteresting whiny twins, and made the Jedis look dumb and nosy. The Boys S4 is back on track. Episode 7 was an improvement over their last two. House of the Dragon S2 just gave us their episode yet. But The Acolyte keeps giving us shit after shit every week. Their best episode, Night, wasn't perfect either. Still contained some dumb moments and didn't progress the plot either. Manny Jacinto and Carrie-Anne Moss were needed the most in this awful series.
@@officermurdoch4120 Indeed & quoting things said by members of Fandumb Menace is 💯% meaningless ✅ - Beautiful The Acolyte with nice soundtrack, aesthetics, wardrobe & El Bueno On Location Sets 😋 - Also it's writing is around same evel as rest of Star Wars except Andor because it's higher than everything including movies ✅ Streaming at D+ library 🙂
Did you forget Sol was at the tree when the girls spoke of the ascension? Many people are not watching with the intent to see the show for what it is. They are hate-watching it, and that makes most details easy to miss. You aren't even giving it a chance. 🤣
_"I have no excitement for the finale next week."_ You should quit while you're behind. Sol needs to tell Mae so she'll have a chance to forgive them. He made a defensive mistake and I believe the rest is Koril's manipulations. The witches appear dead so the twins will blame the Jedi for their whole coven dying. More truths will surface in the finale, but the best part is what the real twist is. When you're able to binge-watch it like the other shows you love, maybe it won't lose momentum and you'll catch all those details faithful channels are talking about.
I'd prefer a Mando season 4, not a movie. And given how this fandom has been to all series so far, there will be those who complain, about all kinds of things. About Grogu and his powers, about this or that "breaking canon" etc. That kind of complaining has not been limited to some projects but has been affecting everything that came out so far. So I expect what we have seen happen, happen here again. The big screen will make it worse, not better, because it enforces shortened story-telling, leaving less room to explore a topic. As for the other movies: most of them don't interest me much, Rey doesn't, the unnamed ones I don't care about and Dawn of Jedi... not sure. I'd prefer a series, or them sticking to expanding the existing series, and building on what they have.
After the horrible fecquel movies I won't watch anything by disney after Return of the Jedi in the timeline. Still I'm happy for fans who like this stuff that they will be getting a mando movie. I'm really bummed that The Acolyte was bad. I was really hopeful that disney would make good shows for that era.
A Rey film let alone a Rey trilogy - but without Ben Solo? Does not work. Imagine Jane Eyre without Mr. Rochester, Elizabeth Bennett without Mr. Darcy - unimaginable! What about "the dyad in the force", "two that are one", "a power unseen for generations" - invented just for fun and for nothing? Ben Solo, disappearing into the Nirvana, not even worthy to end as a force ghost? Star Wars, are you kidding me? I am a hardcore Star Wars fan, but this is too much for me, no, thank you very much!
I think by the end of all this, that its grogu that the title is referencing rather than mando. Its a creed not a people. And grogu will be the second mandalorian that is a force user or maybe a jedi.
OK.. Now I believe that there will *probably* be another Star Wars movie. I know I'm sounding like a curmudgeon, but I'll wait until I see a trailer to actually believe there's a movie. How many big plans have been announced only to be quietly cancelled later? I can't remember the count. Personally, I doubt there will ever be any words put paper in the Taika Waititi movie. It's just a whim a "what if" on his part, and the fandom has grabbed ahold of it and won't let it go. As for the other movies, again.. I'll wait for the trailers.
It will be devastating if they do not continue the Mando series with a season 4. Disney continues to make wrong decisions. Of all the Star Wars that Disney has made, Mando is the most popular, but what do they do? They make us wait years between seasons, refuse to say if there will be a season 4, just mistreat Mando fans completely. They don't seem to show much intelligence for a giant company.
First of all, they're trying to wrap up the ongoing Mandoverse storyline. The end is approaching swiftly. All we have is this movie, a second season of Ahsoka, and then the Heir To The Empire movie to cap it all off. Secondly, there is no reason for them to stretch out what is probably a simple story into a whole season of episodes. That was a disaster for season 3, which was universally panned for too much filler padding. And finally, a lot of it has to do with availability of actors, especially Pedro Pascal, who is increasingly expensive and busy. Why should they try to break the bank for a fourth season that will probably not even be good?
If there is going to be a new movie, there needs to be no wokism, no issues about offending the minority groups, no pleasing certain groups with moral issues, no witches or occult themes, no earthlike swearing in the scripts, no new looking clothing like it’s cheap looking for a tv show, no altering the Star Wars universe that George created and trying to make a point just so the director is unique,no modern political themes. Original Star Wars was none of these things.
Original star wars 100% was political. George Lucas explicitly stated that the OT was based on the vietnam war, and the prequels about the rise of dictatorships. There has always been politics in sw and to say there shouldn't be any because it possibly criticizes your beliefs could be an indication your beliefs could use reconsidering
Yeah g'day, The Levy and Mangold projects will not get off the ground and will go the way of other SW projects disappearing into the ether. Of course, the remnant showed how incompetent the New Republic was as they had planned all possible scenarios if Grand Pappy Palps fell. I personally feel that Filoni should concentrate on their strengths like Animation for future projects that is not to say I wouldn't mind a live-action Asajj bounty hunter adventure series. It's a goodnight from you and it's a goodnight from the broken, cantankerous, belligerent, obnoxious, obstinate, obstreperous, cynical Old Fart.
Mando S1 and S2 were very good. S3 was disappointing. I am concerned about this movie. I am concerned Dave and Jon will or have been influenced by Disney to make woke Star Wars.
I hope Disney doesn’t screw this up. But they just might. They want woke and not a good story. Hey Disney good story and writing is Andor. Not much of effects but storyline was strong.

It was also much better when Favreau was in charge of it. I really hope Filoni is to busy with Ahsoka s2 so Favreau can make it his own movie.
I liked the Mandalorian series, I hope they don't ruin it.
as long as they dont hurt grogu
And then Luke comes in and saves the day at the end of the season. 😉
Oh, that's the EU...
No thats season 2
It's all such a long way from here... for real...
Well there was the Imperial warlords/remnant. All setting up Thrawn's campaign.
honestly, i'm fine with this being the series finale; i don't think it would be the same doing another season without the high magistrate
The first post-ROTJ period movie that’s worthy? The standalone’s have been great. Solo and Rogue One.
I like Solo and Rogue One, too.
I’m pretty sure the leaked set pictures were of Navarro
I hope they have taken plenty of time to go through the script and tighten up the writing and be clear on the direction for the Mandoverse before they start shooting. And I hope they have plenty of time to edit and reshoot afterwards, because they rushed out the sequels, and the most of the D+ shows feel rushed. Favreau/Filoni need the time to focus on making this movie better than what we've become used to from Lucasfilm, which is half-assed productions.
More Kryze, please.
I’m not really all that excited for the thrawn stuff since we know that will go nowhere due to the sequels I am interested in din and grogu though and what will become of them
How Man bSpace Witches will be in this one... because Disney Star Wars ALWAYS has Force-Wielding Space Witches now...
The Force IS Female. That's why we're here. 😜 Assoka, Space witches, hawties n hotties...
Oh goody, we get to wait 2 years to be let down by Disney again. Hopefully they fire KK before then and maybe we might get something worth watching.
@@EricDeanCampbell Not sure what your problem is, but you must be enjoying watching SW swirling down the drain for the last few years so I'm sure you will enjoy 2 more years of being fed excrement by Disney waiting before they destroy Mando for good or in the mean time go enjoy rewatching some Acolyte with your Disney pedo buddies.
That's why we sail the high seas for Disney now aye aye
Sorry, I can't agree. I'd like the 200million for season 2 to. go toward another project.
@@tomradcliff6859 lets just wait and see
Yeah no

Maybe we can get the mandalorian movie trailer on Thanksgiving 2025 while the new Jedi order movie will release on December 2025 and I really wish I was in that movie. I could be the son of Luke Skywalker. Maybe Dave's star wars movie will release on December 2026. I wonder the cast of warrior series will be in Shawn Levy's star wars movie.
Dave’s isn’t happening for a long time and 2025 is too soon
After the garbage season 3, I'm worried about the film. Bringing back Grou was so stupid and I'm not at all looking forward to the other projects. If Levy and Tropper will be behind another film around Rey, I'll just pass.
It better be 3 hours long
I hope they have a teaser trailer when Deadpool & Wolverine comes out. This is the Way
Not possible because filming hasn't began. Deadpool & Wolverine lands into movie theaters close to end of this month. I guess we'll get one around late this year ✅
@@Fedaygin You’re most likely right. We need a Season 4 to help out with the plot
Gimme Mando, Andor, Ahsoka but no A colite!
Where's Burr? They really need that whole gang from the prison episode back. Without Dune or Carga, Din has a hard to me carrying the show.
I'm always ready for more Mando but i dont like the title, The Mandalorian and Grogu. Its like a buddy cop movie ie Turner & Hooch, Tango & Cash etc
The Mandalorian was Jon Favreau. It was not meant to launch any other thing until it took off unexpectedly. Dave's fingerprints are all over season #3 and that is where they got this grand plan. I will not say more.
“Pretty soon” and then add 2 yrs and everyone has already forgotten who is doing what…..so tired of the constant waiting.
Where's this leak Meg?
One bad review away from disaster. The moment we notice a D.E.I. story line…it will all collapse. Good luck. I myself believe Star Wars Disney is over and done.
Normally I would be going to a Star Wars movie on opening weekend…..but I’ll wait for some feedback from the masses before I decide to spend the money or not. I am skeptical.
There better be enough DEI and zero story to make it Disney canon
Ms. Meg, Are there more Mandalorian Survivors?
Believe so. Mando was looking for different Mandalorian groups so he could find out more info about the Jedi and their whereabouts.
Which poll? Do you refer to Rotten Tomatoes? Forget it, that bomb viewing is not worth mentioning.
_"I have no excitement for the finale next week."_
You should quit while you're behind.
@@DaleESkywalker I don't do Binge streaming (max 2x in a row when wind-down), but i know what you mean & well said before that part 🙂
I wish people would stop talking about a Rey movie happening. Its not mostly because no one wants to see it
Diminishing returns. Will wait for reviews. Ideally I’d prefer not to watch any of this hot garbage again. I stopped at asokha.
4 days til the last acolyte and let's get to skeleton crew at the least and then we'll have a bit more reason to talk much less begin to hope...sigh
This movie needs to save Star Wars. It's dying ... jon fav needs to make magic one more time!
Meg!!!!!
If they base the next star wars on Rey then I'm done! I rather it be based on the acolyte. The Rey character is horrible.
Jon Favreau is the only person at LFL I still have hope in. Filoni, Kennedy...need to be gone.
Filoni? Are you kidding? Why?
It’s time to “reboot” Star Wars, for a “new phase” based on all that worked with lore and fans.
Yeah g'day,
The Levy and Mangold projects will not get off the ground and will go the way of other SW projects disappearing into the ether.
If Grogu pulls a Star Destroyer out of the sky, I will have no objections. 😊
