  • In this video I gathered and compared few methods of generating 3D models with help of an A.I.
The video also covers the topic of 3D printing models designed by Artificial Intelligence. Keeping in mind that this technology is developing incredibly fast, I believe we truly are on the edge of breakthrough in 3D modeling.
    Try it out for yourself!

As a fellow finder in 3d generator to Cura This is what I’m thinking since it’s a step I to the right direction, instead of turning it into stl are we able to take it to blender from mirage and do the finishing touches there then turn that into a stl file? I’m waiting on getting my 3d printer to do this exactly how it sounds! 3d models to 3d prints!

I'd love to be able to ask an AI to design something for me.
I have a HDMI splitter that I can't find a wall mount for and am rubbish at using the 3d tools to design... Being able to put in the dimensions/brand/image of the splitter, asking for a wall/under desk mount to he designed and then boom, several design choices are presented would be phenomenal!

This will explode, and soon I predict, less than a year and we should have quite capable AI model generation direct to .STL files that don't need cleanup since the clean up process will be done on the AI side with text driven modifications. To quote Two Minute Papers, 'what a time to be alive'.

I feel you, in some way AI takes away topics that once made us feel special. Soon people will have far less respect for art and artists in my opinion, since AI can generate anything in seconds. But there is nothing we can do to stop the progress, we can only adapt. And that’s why I will continue showing you the ideas, I want to make it easier for all of us to adapt. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I very much respect that. Cheers!

For things like flower pots, it'd be much easier to model them in CAD or even Blender from scratch. However more abstract, non-functional objects like ducks, or Yoda, etc., CAD would be next to useless.
