    Hello . Sorry for mistakes. My English is terrible at spelling. So I use a translator. First of all, I would like to thank you for enlightening me on the issue of transcribing an ordinary image into a program for a 3D printer. It's an ocean of new possibilities and ideas))). I wanted to ask if such transcription is also possible for a CNC plotter?

    • @architech_the_engineer
      @architech_the_engineer 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Your english is great! For CNC you’d need a different software, as far as my knowledge goes CNC machines don’t work with STL files. If you’re interested in using AI generated models with CNC plotters, I can figure it out in future videos!

    • @mito886
      @mito886 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@architech_the_engineer Thanks for my English from the translator ))). Of course, I am interested in programs for CNC plotters. Think about the business potential. You can make really interesting bas-reliefs on a large scale (e.g. 1mx1m x 20 cm). And your production cost is only the material from which the item is made and the investment in an inexpensive CNC plotter. The biggest cost is eliminated, i.e. the fee for the IT specialist who will write the program for you. The rest is your imagination. From now on, you are my top choice for 3D models :))). Greetings and I'm waiting for the video about programs for CNC milling machines ))).

    • @architech_the_engineer
      @architech_the_engineer 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not at all. Sculpting those details would take hours and various sculpting tools that we’d have to learn first. I basically extracted the details from texture, and to do that I needed both a model and a texture generated by AI

      Well, if you make that assumption, then I’m pretty sure you’re right. Even for love we pay with commitment, for watching a Yt video we pay with attention. It is a way to look at world, but I’m not a fan of it - it makes everything feel like transaction. But in a literal sense, free stuff is a thing. Free food samples, free services for long-time customers, or even using sites like Google or gmail. Of course it is also in the interest of the company for you to use their product, but it doesn’t change the fact that we get to use a lot of things, without actually paying for it, right? I’m open for conversation and sharing thoughts. Stay positive, and thank you for your comment!

      @@architech_the_engineer we have come up with many crazy scenarios where we made ai and it did not end well. Now we have ai, darpa has made a robot that closely resembles the robots from the movie Mitchell's vs the machines, and we as humans seem to be wanting to make these doomsday scenarios a reality as fast as we possibly can. It may seem innocent and I really hope it is, but the more we use ai the more we become dependent on it and the more we will develop it so that we can live life like all the humans on wall-e. Allowing people to digitally create cool little figures and movies get people excited. 20 years ago I would have laughed at someone saying the movie terminator could become reality. Now, it's a real possibility.
