My cousin Carl is navigating for me today, and we're barely a block in when we find our first stop, with a couple of easy buys to whet our appetites. Next is an estate sale where the family are making the mistake of underselling...we're happy to pay what they ask without dickering, and everything from mid-Victorian china to mid-century modern goes into the van!
A steady stream of fun and interesting homes, estate and yard sales, cheap prices on real antiques and valuable vintage...community sales are great here! So many things to see in one convenient (though crowded) area...come along for the fun as we see all we can in this garage sale paradise!

I learned to drive in the yellow version of that 1966 Ford Mustang. I really loved that car. My sister then learned to drive in the same car and drove it into a creek. My Dad then sold it. I have been looking for another over the last few years.
My dad had the '66 in red, I learned to drive on that! It was actually a pretty good car to learn on, it hydroplaned a lot so you learned quickly not to take off fast or cut corners
I'm cracking up at the "Let's drive to the furthest sale and work our way back--or stop at the first sale we see." I, too, am completely incapable of passing a sale by.

That was fun, but it looks like it was picked over. The Keys are so beautiful. It's really nice to have a little bit of fame, but it seems l never get time off from being online. It's just a bit different, when l can't get any kind of private life. Other people's lives do affect my life for a very painful and long time. Please understand that l am not trying to hurt anyone, but someone else is getting thrills out of it. I though being recorded 24/7 was over. I guess it's not, and it is very toxic to everyone. Thank you again, George.

I’m stopping at the baseballs to ask about a value. My son in law’s dad has a baseball signed by Frank Sinatra. He got it from Sinatra himself at a baseball game in California when he was a child. (Early 60’s) He also got a hotdog and a baseball cap from him. They were spectators at the game and were sitting right in front of the singer. (They both named Frank). Of course the ball is a family heirloom, displayed in a lucite holder. Just wondered what the intrinsic value might be. Celebrity signed but not by a player.

I absolutely can not stand when people put EBay print outs with their garage sale items. Also $30 for the bat cart and Fenton!? That turquoise Fenton bowl would probably pay for all that and then some. What a deal!
I know, right? That was luck! I hate the eBay printout thing...almost as much as the "I'm going to look it up on Google Lens when you ask a price and then tell you the most expensive one I can find"

I find the same shopping situations in central NY. Since the crash in 2012 and then covid estate and garage sales are the best in thirty years. Glass got a bad rap by ignorant dealers and it knocked out our competition lol. And any time of day just get to everyone of them sales

I saw something I’ve been looking for at the first table you showed. I’d really like to find a “pearl” necktie from the late 60’s. If you ever see another one, please pick it up for me and I’ll buy it from you!!! I trust your judgement on what’s a good price so you can make it worth your while.

I grew up going to Treasure Island because my grandparents lived there until 1998. I really think you were at or near her apartment building in this video. Very cool. If you ever see paintings or other art by Louise Sutherland I would be very interested in them. She was an artist. I'm also looking for a bottle we sold after my mom died in 2008 down there. We sold it through an auction house in St. Pete across the causeway from Madeira Beach. About 15" tall, see through light blue glass with a boat on the front. I'm very jealous of the sales you attending. That is a great area to shop second hand. Great vid.

The pitcher is Morton pottery (woodland )… the company was very close to where I live .. I’ve collected that particular pattern for years
I had a great time riding around with you and seeing all the community sales..alot of wonderful treasures you picked up this day George!!! I think my favorite was the New Orleans import English transferware plate💙💙💙
What I find so ridiculously funny is when someone just has to point out how something is posted on 1st Dibs for say $2,000 and they're only asking like $50. (I'm slightly exaggerating) I just don't understand the strategy behind that. That was a great estate sale with that bar cart. How much was that Italian ceramic tray? If cheap, I definitely pick them up! I think I would have jumped all over that long black lacquer sideboard for $250. Longer the better and the legs were just in the right spot. 15:59 Looked like it possibly could have been a couple thousand-dollar piece right there.

Where I live the black lacquer never really left; it smells like "money" to some folks. Saw some bits I'd have investigated and felt a fair bit of jealousy. It's SNOWING outside as I type.
Good evening, George! That was a great buy on the spatter ware pitcher. Those cruets make a nice group display. I really like those Victorian castor sets. It's really interesting to see actual antiques at yard sales. That "Iris" water set would've had to come with me. I have a set in the marigold, but the clear is older. That looked like a really fun day! Thanks for the take-along!!!
I was so happy to see real antiques at a Florida sale! It all is stuff that moved down with people who are gone now. I liked the cruets together too. The Iris set was SO crazy cheap! I hope someone gave it a good home.

When you said something about paying online price, and why wouldn't they just go to the internet? You save a lot of $$ by not paying shipping!
What vexes me is all the competition and everyone vying for scores...is that greed?..or is the feeling normal for tag-salers.? Doesn't matter as I sit here at home during a snowstorm, but wait until spring;..I'll get that wild infection again.
