    I have a Griswald flat skillet that is not black, it is silver colored, ike aluminum. I am interested in it's value. No one that I have asked has any idea what the material is. At first I thought it needed sesioning but it stays aluminum colored, never becoming black like my well seasoned skillets that my mother and dad got as wedding gifts when they married in 1938. You are knowledgeable so hope you can give information.

      Hi and Welcome to the Stealth Beauty Gifting Channel! Gosh, I have never heard of aluminum Griswold but I am still learning. I did do a search on Google using "Aluminum Griswold skillet' and it looks like it might be worth a good amount of money. Called Duo-Chrome or nickel I believe. But, I as they are rare I am not sure how fast it would sell. It may take a collector who really understands how rare it is to purchase it.

    oh so fun - am just loving your videos! as i said before - prepare to rack up new subbies with all these incredible finds you are filming! and butter pat pans? who knew? quick question - for the corn bread pan, you said there were 120 for sale on ebay so you passed that up - i seem to be missing this utility on ebay - how do you figure out how many of an item is for sale? surely you're not individually counting? do tell. thanks!

    • @stealthbeautygifting
      @stealthbeautygifting  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi bionance, You asked about Ebay For Sale count and Sold count. It is not a perfect science but I find the number by putting in a search on Ebay for the item. Ex: cowboy hat. At the bottom of the search results it will show how many listings there are for that item. Then I use the FILTER drop down at the top right and hit SHOW MORE and scroll further down to get to the SOLD check box. Once that is checked and I hit SEARCH it will show how many of that item has sold at the bottom of the search results. Hope this helps. If you are using a computer, let me know.

      @@stealthbeautygifting excellent! thanks for this tip! and, btw, my name is Libby - ima biologist - hence, the handle. you know? i do mostly use my laptop - for listing, for everything really except photos. i find the phone app clunky. i *never* know where to go to find comps! guess i could google that - they are much easier to find on a p.c. anyway - i went over to colorado today, and did some *fab* sourcing - didn't find crystal, but amazing silver banded retro bar wear - many different sets, for some reason - all selling for fab prices. (plus, i bough 30 dresses!) o my! i'm on a tear! post more please and thank you!

    Couple of things. First is why did you leave the other Butter Pat pan? you but 2 w/ lids for $30, I'm sure you could have picked up the other for another $10 but even at $20 you still would have made out huge on it. Its funny how different people look for and see different things at a sale. The was a shelf full of glass pumpkins, some hand blown. You started heading to it and I got excited, but then you went for the candles and never looked at the pumpkins next to them, where I didn't even see the candles till you picked them up. LOL! Great videos though, I have been enjoying them.

      I know, right? Every time I watched back that footage I was wondering the same thing! But, in the moment I was feeling a bit awkward in their house. And I couldn't find the smaller pan on Ebay showing it had sold. So, I left without it. And, it wasn't until I got them listed that I found out just how popular they are. So, I'm learning a bit more every day. Hard work and exciting!

    Why is griswald so valuable. I have that mushroom plaque in my garden.

      Hi. While I am still learning about cast iron and what to look for, my research far shows that Griswold Manufacturing was founded in 1865 in Erie, Pennsylvania, casting stoves and hardware before venturing into cooking vessels, a market it would lead for nearly a century. It then was purchased by Wagnerware in 1950s.
      Experts say that older cast-iron cookware pieces are much finer than those produced today. Vintage pieces were hand cast in sand and still display higher quality control measures than modern pieces.
      I'd say it's a combination of no longer produced, great long lasting quality, AND it's a very popular brand to collect so lots of competition, especially for the more rare pieces. It's got the "buzz" factor!Hope that helps.

    I have watched approximately 12 seconds of your video and I will already answer your question which I should have done right at the start there is no bloody pan worth $1200 unless it's Made of gold therefore it won't be used as a pan at least not a frying pan eagle anything for a video
