Hi Alex. that's a great vest. I hope you don't mind me saying. Wen you're using the pop rivets, open the grips slightly, then slide the shank of the rivet right into the tool. When you close the grip, keep going kind of like scissors and the shank will snap off, so you wont need to cut it, then open the handles wide so the nail bit of rivet will fall out.
Hello Paul Thompson! I don't mind at all. I'll try it your way and see if it works better. I think the tool was jammed because the pin was stuck inside the chamber and wouldn't come out. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks

I used shoe polish to add wear to mine, it stays longer, plus unlike spray paint the smell goes away, I used my fingers and a small brush to add it to my jacket so the brush strokes didn't show
Hmm...shoe polish. I will have to try that some time. The acrylic paint I used can get stiff after it dries. Your idea may be better. Thanks for the suggestion!
Watching people make post-apo stuff is super cathartic for me, this scratched the itch I had! I'm gonna be binging the rest soon, will you be doing a pair of pants for this?
I have been planning on making another video to follow up on this. I recently moved and also changed jobs so everything is up in the air right now. I'm glad you like it and thank you for your, kind words. See ya in the next video!
Cool jacket mate! I want to make one similar.
