VC Patrimony 32 mm in 18K YG is as beautiful and classic as a timepiece can be. It's also a great investment, something few watches can be said to be nowadays.
Modern Vacheron is way too large. 40mm+ for a dress watch? No thanks, that's monstrosity for a dress piece. The design team at Vacheron must have dog turds in their brain. VC is going downfall, and they brought it to themselves. Vacheron was the true King in the 1950s and 1960s. I will take a Vacheron from 1950s - 1960s over these contemporary junks any day of the week. The 33mm to 34mm men's dress watch is perfectly elegant and timeless. 1950s' Vacheron = Nowadays Patek > Contemporary Vacheron
While I agree 40+ is far too large for a dress watch, classically speaking, this watch is actually a blessing for me personally as I'm a big guy with big wrists on whom classical dress pieces have always looked ridiculously out of place. It's an odd thing, because I'm happy this watch exists for selfish reasons, but also am not crazy about VC sabotaging their heritage only to appease contemporary buyers (for most of whom this size isn't necessary- it's just a fad).
The most beautiful dress watch money can buy! Thanks a lot for the interview!
Very classic and clean looking.
Just like Patek, Audemars , Lange and Grand Seiko. Don't forget Credor.
Thanks.

It's all about proportion (to the wearers arm) not absolute measurement of the piece.
they are too big
