Chapter highlights added to the video so that you can skip the creation process and here some of the developed tracks that I came up with. This is probably my last live stream for a little while again, so that I can catch up with more regular videos/content and other projects that I'm falling behind with, and hopefully get a new release prepared.
I always enjoy the live streams, partly because of the sense of community in the chat, and the way they have led me to discover the work of other musicians on TH-cam and SoundCloud. Take your time to do your best work on the other projects, and resume whenever you're ready. We'll be here.
Hi mate, looking forward to your commercial sound set for Summit.👍
Loving the creation process also 😌✌🏼
Growing up as a teenager in the seventies, I got to know a lot of great music. Progressive, and also the Berlin School with Klaus Schulze, Tangerine dream etc. Hearing this makes me feel good !! I keep coming back to this stream, it is absolutely marvelous !! Thanks a lot !!
Yes, Agreed* Klaus Schulze R.I.P.
I find it amazing the view of the cockpit, so to speak...many years also influenced by electronic soundscapes, hearing Kitaros Deep breakfast as a preteen in my Mums house I will never forget along with Richard Halpern...some of the first amazements at this skill of making music, will never be forgottena s a lifetime dreamer to be able to produce sounds as such, I'll settle for being here now...living he dream EARS AND EYES wide open... thank you kindly.❤
@@Akira-ed3wd That was Ray Lynch, wansn't it?
Amazing soundtrack for my late night work! Thanks!
A fantastic piece of art.
To me you are the one true successor of the great pioneers like KW, KS and JMJ.
👍👍👍
Thanks so much!

Magnifico sir
Awesome setup. I hope to have a similar one some day
Thanks!
Whoa, did you sample from inside an ant colony for the first bit?? Sounds like the noises they would make. Love your work! There's never a dull moment.🥰
Beautiful set ma guy! 👏🫶
Fantastic!🥂👊
I heard that Nightmare on Elm Street riff. Nicely done.
@SA ... mystifying how you do it ... great work as always!
Many, many thanks for your brilliant music! Especially the part from 20:20 of this music is, by far, one of the most brilliant for me! There are no words to describe what these sounds do inside. :-)
Thank you, Karl!
You are a beast!!
Superb 😎
Danke!
Thank you!

Hello from Bournemouth..Love this, good work!
I need a Microcosm to compliment my Virus ti2. The force is strong!
Microcosm is well worth it!
What center channel speakers are those? Love your stuff buddy! Thank you. Edit: Nvm found them in your description list. Expensive! Thanks again.
Thanks!
Hello, Houston - Grand piano is missing.🚀
I do miss the chaos of all those lovely cables and wires, and the pulsing and flashing of the LEDs.
More modular videos to come :) I'm working on a patch right now. I tend to keep my modular system in my lounge, rather than the studio, due to space limitations, but also it just feels right having my modular in the lounge where it's more relaxing.
Not sure but I think bro is into synth music
Some major JMJ vibes in this video!
Hey man, which mouse do you use? I really need a good one that I don't fumble with or think about when I'm making music, I want it to feel precise and fluid. I've never heard anyone mention the mouse unless it pertains to gaming but it's basically an instrument in this case. Did you choose your mouse for any reason or does it not matter to you? Thanks for your time man. These videos get me jamming.
I'm using the Logitech G305, wireless. I've used Logitech quite a bit and find them comfortable and reliable, no frills etc. The G305 is really nice, haven't had to change the battery yet after months and the wireless connection is solid. Only issue I had is after several months the main left button started double clicking. I found others ran into the same issue and there's a fix you can do, but I just replaced mine with another G305 since I just really like it.
1:41:11 feels like blade runner blues
Awesome track creation! I see you listed your three cameras you use for the stream. Can you tell me which one is being used for which scene/shot? Thank you again!
Just the Sony A6400 and Panasonic G7 were used here I think. G7 over left shoulder 15mm lens, 6400 right shoulder shot over desk 16mm lens.
@@stateazure thank you for the info. The shots look so great but it makes sense because those cameras are great!
One more question SA. Is the G7 connecting via Wi-Fi to OBS and do you run into issues with streaming from it for longer periods of time?
@@ilyandilymusic No, it's fine. It's directly connected. I have one of those Elgato multi input cards 4 HDMI inputs, so all the cameras have a direct connection over HDMI and they all use dummy batteries for power. I think a Wi-Fi cameras would introduce issues, increased latency and instability, not to mention extra load on my router.
@@stateazure oh got it thanks!
Where can one get a virtual Roland Juno 60?
It is great to slow down.
👌
Excellent creation and mastering. I believe you could produce very good downtempo or melodic techno. Maybe one day?
Perhaps. I really just go with my mood and inspirations. I do some techno very rarely when I feel like it :)
Id love to know how your pedals are routed ... and which you enjoy using with which instruments. I really enjoy the Polymoon and Microcosm
Beautiful. Such remarkable talent is difficult for a lay person like me to grasp. I love music, but I'm not a musician and I don't understand it. I regret not exploring it in my youth. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing your art.
Thank you!
Well, it's never to late to start. If you are passionate about it, you can always try to learn
@@asmarloki8553 I appreciate that kind and encouraging comment. At the moment, unfortunately, I have some health and financial constraints. I'm hoping maybe one or both will improve, but it's not going so great. Nevertheless, despite me also being older, you're right that it's often never too late for most people to start. If I were ever able, I would love to become a competent jazz pianist. Not professionally or even playing publicly, but for my own enjoyment in private. I'm a big fan of Count Basie and Oscar Peterson, just to name a few of many. But, I also love big band, swing, classical, and new age/ambient or whatever this genre is called. Anyway, thanks again for your nice note. I wish you good health.
@@karlhungus5554 I wish you the best too, despite hard times you will make it!
👍
Fantastic stream, mate ! You probably asked this loads but....do you have any plans for touring / one-off gigs ?
Thanks, Paul. No plans / not very likely, but if I ever do I'll be sure to share the details on my socials etc!
👍♥️🤘
Bedtime, listen time…. Take me to sleep please 💤🥰
And where is the cat? Every serious creator, like Martin Stürtzer, has a studio cat.
Will these developed pieces come to your Bandcamp?
Yeah at least the first two tracks either by themselves or as part of an EP. I’m not sure yet, but I’m working on these next
What made you choose bitwig over something like ableton? Is bitwig easier to learn? Do you find yourself using more hardware or vsts when getting inspired to write something?
I have an Ableton and Studio One license as well as Bitwig, but Bitwig is my main DAW and the one I use the most for composing/producing. They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Bitwig just fits me best because I love the modulation system, clips/scenes mode, and general intuitive and very fast workflow and UI, it's easy to learn and fun to use. It's a DAW that isn't bloated like say Cubase, which I used to use many years ago, but rather it is quite streamlined and aimed at the electronic musician. Many DAWs try and cater to everyone and become very complicated, messy, bloated etc. I still use Studio One always for mastering though, this is one area Bitwig doesn't do well (At least for mastering multiple tracks as a single project)
I mostly go to software/vsts etc when I'm inspired, software is just so much faster and convenient to jam out ideas and experiment etc. Hardware can be very inspiring too, but I don't tend to turn on the hardware synths when I just want to write some ideas fast
@@stateazure I'm more of a tactile person, but learning hardware feels like a pain compared to software. Maybe I need a good controller.
Hi, what is that 16 fader + 16 rotary encoder controller just behind the computer keyboard? Seems like the dream controller, something with enough faders finally, but you did not really used it a lot in the live performance. Great performance anyway!
Thank you! Those are Grid controllers by Intech Studio. Really amazing modular (magnetically snapping) controllers. I don't tend to use them as often as I should, but they are indeed excellent for live performing.
@@stateazure Great stuff, thank you! Would be great to hear some more Korg modwave / wavestate / opsix based performances, especially using the native versions in Bitwig.
This is my background music for RTFM on my hydra
Manuals should come with built in ambient music when you open them :)
ableton push 2 works on bitwig?
With the DrivenByMoss script, yes. Works very well.
That's it. I'm quitting my job. With the time offset, I keep missing these streams by 30 minutes 🤣
Sorry :) Sometimes I do very late ones and then I switch back to early times, but I need to try and chill out on the streams for a while anyway and get back to standard videos and finishing up projects, so this might be the last for a while.
@@stateazure aww, the streams are marvelous and I know so many really enjoy them. Thankfully they are here to watch later... I just miss sitting in the audience throwing popcorn at you -=live=- 😁
@@VisionsMusicGroup Haha 😅
What is the 8x8 pad next to your left hand in this... I looked at your toy list and could not find it. Did you upgrade to a 16x8 I think?
That's just an Elgato Stream Deck for changing cameras/scenes etc
@@fdwyerSDMM No problem! What do you mean by pad?
Does anyone know what the word for this is?? Is it production? Composition?? Thanks
It's a little bit of - production, composition, improvisation
Midi Loopy? Mac OSX version? OH MY GOD!! 😽
Windows 11 :)
Push 3?
What are the names of the speakers in front of you
Adam A7XX
He likes to play….
Hmmm, I wonder why so many views from afar
I hear some kind of whispers, what are those, from which Instruments?
I think that was a Lunaris 2 pad
