      @@cooloutac Yeah he even talked about it in his 3 hour interview with Eric Hansen. Not too long after the interview, Kramnik played against Aman Hambleton and after the game, he implied Hambleton might have cheated. It was hilarious. He obviously didn't even know there was a connection between Hansen and Hambleton.

      @@cfffba its always rooted in truths. call it an exaggeration. cut it in half and he clearly still knows there is a problem and that online gaming is not even played by half the titled players, and the majority of the other half doesn't even take it seriously enough to play in any tournaments. Its also evident its been made clear to him making such statements goes against his interests.

      Give him some credit. He doesn't just block everyone he loses to. He also blocks people who draw against him, and people who don't lose as easily as they should have.

      @@chesscomsupport8689 The honor is only giving in OTB for a reason. The day that they are given online is the day that they become less meaningful. Erik Allebest the CEO of the website told Levitov Chessworld the large majority of titled players they ban are young FM's and IM's.

      @@chesscomsupport8689 There is a reason titles are not given online. Half of the worlds titled players don't even play online, most of the other half don't even play in any online tournaments. Its not taken seriously already and will continue to be taken less seriously whether Kramnik existed or not. At least the website is ramping up security measures finally, only because of him. He is a hero.

    Those moves looked findable and reactionary. I am rated as a 600 and have played 98% accuracy because the other player forced me to play the best moves lol

      Yeah, that finishing combo to win material was right out of a lichess practice puzzle. You don't need a rating that starts with a 2 to figure it out. Sad to say, former world champion Kramnik is just embarrassing himself nowadays.

      @@johnh5259 I am pretty sure you would have found the move, you are 600 rating for a reason after all, you manage to find all sorts of moves.It's easy to speak when you see the solutions, but when it comes to real play, you cant find any moves obviously.

      The Only pro athlete to go public with an aggressive stance against an e-sport gaming platform that does not take enough responsibility.     Maybe...just maybe, Kramnick is not as good as he once was or believes he is today. Maybe young players today are better and more capable than he belives.

      he judges based on OTB performance rating. And for alot of these young players they don't correlate. Erik Allebest the CEO of the website told Levitov chessworld that most of the titled players he bans are young fm's and im's. It should come as no surprise to anyone.

Their ratings, while can be a good judge of that players caliber, cant be some sort of strict system capable of judging them. I do believe there are plenty of cheaters in this world, but Kramnick's nuclear approach is just pitiful

      @@Timmichanga361 I agree he is a great player. You judge them based on performance rating which his separate from skill level rating. Dennis has proved himself over the board this past year. Kramnik would agree now. But many players do not prove themselves either OTB or in a secure environment on a clean pc. And should not be allowed in in money events again until they do imo.

    You have to prove that accuracy is a reliable metric for determining cheating, before going on a rampage accusing everyone based on accuracy. Kramnik put the cart before the horse

      The cap score is not a reliable way of catching cheaters. The way you can catch cheaters is their time usage between moves. Are they playing the best move or second best move with a consistent time usage? If they are lower rated like 500 and they go from losing every game to winning every single game without fail with around a 90%+ accuracy everytime then there’s a good chance it’s a cheater.

    How can you be a former WC and not understand accuracy. I'm a 1200 ish player, and I sometimes get 90+ accuracy, because I'm shitty, I get shitty opponents, and its easy to be accurate if your opponent does not do accurate, or not good moves. Accuracy is not about being "close to engine" Its about making good responses and not making mistakes.

      Put another way, just because a player gets 98% accuracy in a game does NOT mean that the player is 2% away from being stockfish. After all, this should be obvious: No-one is 2% away from being stockfish. Stockfish has a rating of, idk, 3300 or something, maybe higher, and Magnus is at 2850 or so, which means Magnus should never be more than 86% accurate or so.

      @@epicchess2021 I just checked, stockfish is 3634 (estimated) Cleary, no human will ever be CLOSE to its "accuracy" ever. basically most GM's would be 60% accurate, if the measure was "distance to stockfish", and I would be at like 25%.

      he does walk funny and always shows up late to the board. Seems to bully anyone who beats him. LIke yelling at Dennis "Thats bull@@$# Mother@@#@" and storming off. I'm laughing at all the people claiming Magnus was cursing to himself in Norwegian, when he is clearly leaning into the camera to make sure he is heard.... He hasn't raised the purse past the 2 mil Fischer got it to 50 years ago, for a reason bud. Society just can't stand any of these chess players and the game is not treated like a sport.     Yeah, his accuracy seems to be propped up by the slightly inaccurate buildup of both, then Kram falls away dramatically, leaving his opponent with a series of easily projected tactics. He practically moved his opponent into position to win.

    Most of the professional athletes try to find opportunity to cheat with PEDs, that also ruin their health. If they do, it is easy to predict that chess players will, too, especially when there is no health consenquence involved. Cheating is inherent in human nature, unfortunatelly.

    Cheating in online game is real. But proving it is difficult as sometime you just need help in one or two moves only.
    I am a 2200 player and every week I get points credit message.
    My son is 1800 player I take him to offline chess tournaments in India, so many cheating incidents happen on the board that arbiters are kept busy all the time. We are tired of all those arguments.
    Cheating will bring down Chess.

    I agree that Kramnik is the boy who cried wolf. But an IM playing 98.3 accuracy against the former world champion and using barely 90 seconds of time on his clock for the whole game is actually kinda sus.

    It is wild that Kramnik supposedly lost credibility, but cheaters are taken for granted. Sorry, but you guys don't get the psychology of top players. They need a certain madness to come to the top. They developed a very strong intuition for this game, spent their life for it, and then a no name comes along and crushes them with 98%. Remember when Carlsen accused Niemann.

    It's a high accuracy but there weren't any difficult decisions or complex moves to win the game .. IMO.
    1. He let his opponent take the open file.
    2. Trapped his own rook for nothing
    This is what lost him the game. It's not that hard.

      @@WolvesFI To get to a point where Krammik make goofy moves takes at minima a 2600++ GM. There s a huge gap between a normal GM and an IM. And another gap vetween Krammik n the usual GM. The repetion of defeat is just no coincidence. People r having fun of him. N it s sad. Sad for him, sad for chess in general. Sorry .

Its why he is now why he totally flipped from saying cheating is a major problem during the Hans Neiman issue, to now saying its being overblown. You are being naive. Reporting someone is just a check on their account, noone can have evidence of cheating and its up to the website to take responsibility. His point is that no exceptions should be made and the players taking home the most money should be scrutinized the most. Every pro player agrees with kramnik on this.

      You do know it's up to the person claiming something to prove it's true. The website already take responsibility by banning a lot of cheaters when it's obvious and there is little to no doubt about them cheating.
      Kramnik need to chill, and look in the mirror. His action and what he says are not the same. It's like a lot of extreme religious people.

    90 accuracy for a 2900+ player seems low - that would explain the result without any further thinking IMO. IMRosen often does 95+ at 25-2600

    Most of white's moves seem obvious, and the start and end any competent player over 2000 would surely score 100%. But it is the quieter moves in the middle you have to look at - though even some of these are not surprising given that Kramnik invited them with some poor play. In the end I don't know if there was cheating or not. But on this one game, I think there is nothing conclusive.

      WFM Anna Cramling has recently played against a 3000-rated player with an accuracy of 96.2... And no, she wasn't cheating. Nobody really knows how it is calculated but a high accuracy is certainly not an indicator of cheating per se.

      Magnus 'accused' him only after losing OTB, and only then made his salty show by quitting. He then realized he could not accuse Hans of cheating OTB so made some weak and childish innuendo comments and allowed Hikaru and other to take over. Sad to see great chess minds become children.

    So, he plays dubiously and is infuriated when sub-2500 players punish his insolence? He's simply not an I.M.-level chess player anymore. Rather than accept that he's not very good anymore or simply stop playing, it's more "reasonable" for him to immediately accuse anyone who beats him of cheating; based solely on an engine's accuracy scores. I have had 98% accuracy scores against inferior opponents. That's what he can come to grips with- he, the great Vladimir Kramnick, is an inferior opponent... a guppy!!!

    Most of the eval bar's drop-down is right after moves from black, not after moves from white. Kramnik seems to be mostly self-inflicting damage to his position on several occasions in this game, strongly supporting your analyses that Kramnik is self-inflicting damage to his mere reputation when he dutifully licks his pencil and reports people as cheaters after losing to them.
    I think his camera background, however homey and cozy, isn't helping at all. There's the former WC, in a washed-out yellow polo shirt under gruesome lighting conditions, sitting in front of a 1970's cupboard containing a few very tiny prize cups. Even flat-earthers in many cases don't look as detached as Kramnik.
