The lonesome drifters story is very reminiscent of a Johnny Cash song named A Boy Named Sue. With the father leaving the boy at an early age, to not leaving much except a guitar and the child moving from town to town to find his dad.
Wow, I remember that song, and now that you bring it up, it's very similar. Even the line the lonesome drifter says about "the only things he left to Ma and me" is I think the same as the song.
I like to believe he's one man, with a sort of anti aging power and teleportation power, or as nick suggests he may be some kind of ghoul. Or he may have some sort of alien artifact like lorenzo that allows him to manipulate his age and teleport
The Mysterious Stranger character, and even his weapon of choice, is a reference to the unfinished Mark Twain novel called "No. 44, the Mysterious Stranger."
I honestly love how the scene unintentionally played out at 2:33. How uncoordinated things felt and then the zoom in to the corpse while the camera is all shaky. it feels like a film school end of term project
There is some theories that Fallout and Skyrim share the same universe being Fallout is in the past and Skyrim the future. The mysterious stranger kills for both evil and good. Which Dark brotherhood does too.. sometimes.. If thats true then something would have been carried over to that universe from fallout. Like nirnroot. So maybe it could be some kind of organisation that likes to kill.
Deadaas though, I'm 90% convinced he's the original vault boy, the little cartoon had to be modeled after someone (even if in a fictional world) and he's just out there. He faced the nuke head on, a curse for being the poster boy for nuclear fallout, he's seen it all, life before the war, every year that's passed, he doesn't age, he's so good at wielding a gun he always shoots first and can't be killed. The man can't die and is forced to witness the world grow - even if one day the earth dies and he's the last one left, forced to live with his actions forever. Stuck in his own personal purgatory, fallout. I'm 90% convinced by this due to his appearance in Fallout Shelter, although all characters look like vault people - he has the most resemblance to Vault Boy, he's been updated to now drop additional loot if you watch an ad, the most common loot I find is either 3000 caps or 3 Nuka Quantums - the number 3 there just strikes something weird to me. His other rewards are usually just 1 lunch box, 1 pet crate or 1 Mr. Handy. But exactly 3 Nuka Colas or 3000 caps? It's weird man. On top of the fact he only seems to help the main characters you play as in each game - but when on his own, he can kill anything in sight with a single shot.
The son of the Lone Wanderer and the Mysterious Stranger depending on the gender, plus his name is kinda a mix of both, Lone=Lonesome Stranger=Drifter🤔
"M'aiq's father was also called M'aiq. As was M'aiq's father's father. At least, that is what his father said. But then again, you can never trust a liar." "A gift from M'aiq to his son, M'aiq," "Some say Alduin is Akatosh, some say M'aiq is a Liar. Don't you believe either of those things. " "M'aiq can travel fast across the land. Some lazy types take carriages. It is all the same to M'aiq. " "M'aiq knows much, and tells some. M'aiq knows many things others do not." "M'aiq knows many things, no?" "M'aiq is tired now. Go bother somebody else. " "M'aiq is done talking."
This is canon already, if you play ESO, there will be an item where you can find it writen: "A gift from M'aiq to his son, M'aiq". And I think that there is a similarity betwen M'aiq and Misterious Stranger in the games.
The mysterious stranger also appears in the Luck chapter of “What makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L?”, leading us to believe that his appearance is based on luck.
He’s either an interdimensional being or a man or multiple who has been charged with keeping the time line. One of which fathered a child in secret and to protect that he had to continue his work and leave his family behind. This explains why he’s always helping the player regardless of the karma because they don’t care about the player they care about keeping the timeline on track.
Also, in Fallout 4 he has a basic .44 five years after you receive the Mysterious .44 in FNV, perhaps a nodd that this stranger is that guys father and because he gave his gun away he no longer appears with it 🤔
Probably because Bethesda never really mentions NV. And to be fair, he had a regular .44 in Fallout 3 What if US East, West, Center and South have different Mysterious Strangers? Like the West one has a son and a Mysterious Magnum, the East one is this Detective looking fella, South one could be something like a "Miami Heat" 80s cop with a Desert Eagle or an UZI and Center could be a country bumpkin in overalls with a Colt Single Action Army
@@dontpreorder2783 some people dont want the perk for immersion reasons. I personally dont use it in a lot of my playthroughs because I don't want the help.
I feel as though the mysterious stranger is a legacy, carried through the gun. I believe the gun is a artifact that allows the stranger not to age but once their done with being the mysterious stranger they give the gun to another person and they become the mysterious stranger. As to how he disappears, it could be strath technology in the trench coat. That also explains why in fallout 1 he doesn’t disappear, because he doesn’t have the trench coat
Unlikely, he has a partner (as I call her) known as Miss Fortune who is the exact same as the Stranger, but different. She only appears in the Mojave (and is most likely the old Female Stranger) and works the same, only looking like a tribal now.
Also the fact that everyone who can doom the Wastelands is wearing a Pip Boy Mysterious Stranger is the Man behind Vault Tec, change my mind if you think otherwise
What if the mysterious stranger is not a person but a title. That’s why he’s so old because it’s like an organization of mysterious strangers who are dedicated to helping everyone they can.
My Theory is that the ‘Mysterious Stranger’ is kinda like Dread Pirate Roberts. It’s not a single person, but a name. A title passed down from stranger to stranger that wanders the wastelands, helping out in fights whenever they feel like. This could also explain the aging, the fact that one of them had a kid in Fallout NV. And the fact that their appearance changed throughout the game as well as the weapon changing. Idk just my thought
Hes a time traveler. It explains why he was seen as a stranger to his own wife, why he can teleport but there’s no institute lightning affect, and why he seems to never age since he’s probably doing everything he did in a short time period jumping from places like new Vegas to places like the commonwealth. It’s also may be why he’s seen to have no moral compass and helps the lone wanderer no matter what, bcuz valentine doesnt comprehend what the strangers possible goal for the future ultimately is.
0:07 is nobody going to talk about how the lever action rifle’s reload matches up to what he’s saying, and there is a perfect sync with him saying “shelter” and the character moving the lever
I always liked to think that he was an 'Agent of Time'. Like maybe from the future where things have recovered and technology has evolved to a point that humans have control over time. But to get to that point, certain actions needed to take place in history. So they have agents, or maybe just one agent. Who must move through space time to influence that past. Changing his outfit and weaponry to be period and location appropriate! Because we play as warriors, we only see him making sure we survive certain encounters through combat; or making battles easier so we have more ammo for a future, crucial battle. Potentially there are other Mysterious Strangers who do more mundane things like hiding valuables in random lootable boxes or whispering in the ear of someone so they change the world in their own nonviolent way ("Psst, Piper. Did the mayor just pour oil in his coffee? That's weird, right?"). Or even... Fathering a child who would grow into an important role later in life... That would explain the appearing and vanishing (even the guitar riff could just be a result of the 'teleporting'... Like sure it sounds like a guitar, but sometimes things sound like other things, especially if we have nothing to base that original sound off of!), why he takes action regardless of Karma or affiliation, why he is so powerful, and why he seems to look different but not age in each outing! Loved the video! Just thought I'd add my two cents.
This is so out there that it actually ties together well. We're all overthinking this stuff but your comment, on a theoretical basis, makes the most sense logically.
My original thought before I saw any evidence but may actually make sense to the aging issue is that what if the Mysterious Stranger is actually a time traveler who's purpose is to keep these main characters safe to ensure the future goes right?

the mysterious stranger is a title passed down, originally from the last vault-tec insurance technician, who started a secret society based on the long ago-signed insurance documents. as a result, the mysterious stranger's job is to wander the wastes, helping any vault dwellers they find and minimizing any harm done to them outside of the vaults
The Mysterious Stranger is a legendary duelist. It is said that the Mysterious Stranger once showed up at a metropolitan cantina famous for dueling tournaments and systematically beat each contender before disappearing back into obscurity. Nobody knos how the Mysterious Stranger survived the city being completely destroyed by bombardment shortly after that event.
'The Mysterious Stranger' is a novel by Mark Twain - he wrote several versions, but in all of them, the titular character is actually Satan. The whole thing with the Lonesome Drifter could be reference to how many musicians (famously Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix) claim that the devil gave them guitar-playing prowess in exchange for their soul. What he did to the drifter and his mum wasn't right to start with - but what about the things he left him; a GUITAR and a revolver. It could be his father either encountered the Devil in those mines or is literally a personification of Satan - leaving his son with a capability for music and violence. The guy is literally called the 'Lonesome Drifter' - that the poor guy is looking for his dad but will never find him, a life-long futile search. Devilish. His being Satanic would also explain the lack of regard to Karma and apparent psychopathic tendencies described by Nick. From Wikipedia: 'In the village and in other places around the world where Satan transports them magically, the boys witness religious fanaticism, witch trials, burnings, hangings, deaths and mass hysteria. Finally, Satan vanishes with a brief explanation: "[T]here is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream - a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you. And you are but a thought - a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities!"' The magical transportation sounds pretty Stranger-y, and his message is just about the most Fallout thing out there! He talks of wandering forlorn, homeless and alone, in the way that all the characters you play in the Fallout series do. Perhaps he helps you so often because he thinks you have adopted his philosophy. Within the Fallout universe is everything he shows the boys - religious fanaticism, witch trials, burnings and hangings and mass hysteria. Perhaps he even had something to do with the Great War creating this hellish landscape. The thing with the Alien tech/Lorenzo theories is that it might explain his longevity (as we have proof of that) but not his weapon's immense power, nor his ability to shift instantly in space. His being literally Satan would explain all of those things.
Well Oxhorn kinda explains the gun thing as the artifact has more than one power or the stranger used the power in a way to get both affects. For example the stranger could have poured power in the gun changing the nature of the bullet when fired and without the stranger only slivers of power could remain in the gun as in the mysterious magnums theme playing on draw. If he isn't teleporting but has time like powers he could just be moving forwards or backwards in time. That could explain the power of his shots as he makes the shots hit harder. Hell it could all three as fallout makes references to Lovecraftian horror. A abomination beyond time leaves a artifact with fragments of his power. A man found it and realized if certain people died before their time the world would be far worse. As this man started to age and die he used his power and left a temporal recording telling of what he was doing, the artifact, as well as why and how he used it. A man finds the artifact and decides to follow the mantle of The Mysterious Stranger. The killing good people could be a psychological side effect from the artifact, as the Strangers start to lose their empathy feeling 'the greater good' of the world must be protected but no longer remembering or caring what that good is, meaning the Stranger could be killing people in a better safe than sorry ideology. That could explain why the Stranger is so distant to his family and leaves. He was forgetting his family from the time travel and knew if he stayed with them he might kill them like he had other good people. But he can't stop or the world will become a hell (whether thats true or not) mentally trapping him in in the role of the Stranger.
He could be from the future. He's traveled to the past with powerful technology to assist him, maybe the future was changed and the mysterious stranger is keeping it on track. And maybe the player in the future is some sort of famous figure and we are important.
To be fair, Vault Dweller: Saved Vault 13 which played into 2 and did a bunch to help(Not a big knower of FO1 lore), also Chosen One's Grandfather apparently. Chosen One: Saved the world from the Enclave Lone Wanderer: Saved world from Enclave and the Zetans Courier: Effectively decided the fate of the West with Second Battle of Hoover Dam, and saved it from ecological disaster Sole Survivor: Changed the fate of the Commonwealth and probably the East Coast All PCs are famous people that would be known.
Its a little thing but I really appreciate you reading all of the dialogue choices from earlier Fallout games, it helps a lot for me to follow along as I have been binging these videos while playing Fallout 4.
I think that the Mysterious Stranger in Fallout 4 is the Lonesome Drifter, it could explain why the riff is gone and he has a moustache, and looks pretty young. Edit: I think I’ve got it! The Mysterious Stranger in FO4 has a normal snub nose magnum because HE GAVE HIS GOOD PISTOL TO THE COURIER IN FALLOUT NEW VEGAS. Think about it, if he is the stranger from the previous Fallouts he would have his signature pistol. If it was his son, he wouldn’t have it, but his father left him the magnum as a kid. He then game it to the Courier in Fallout New Vegas, which is why he doesn’t have it in Fallout 4!
@SuckaDuckForaBuck he means in fallout 4 it's the lonesome drifter, in NV it's still his father. Which would explain why his father has the same pistol. perhaps he knew his son would go looking for him and might've wanted him to follow in his footsteps, so before he left he made a duplicate of his own pistol, that way he'd know his son would be safe in the wasteland. After discovering what his father was doing, perhaps he DID decide to follow in his fathers footsteps, but now without the pistol. Probably recorded a new guitar riff to go along with his pistol based off the memory of his old pistol to try to remind himself of the one his father gave him. (as in after he gave his pistol to the courier, he decided to get back to his roots and find his father, but at that point maybe it had been years so the memory of the original guitar riff had faded a bit, giving us a different, but similar sound to it). Just an added theory/extension to what Flying Games is saying.
I like to think he's a time traveler, only aiding you because he knows no matter good or bad, you are a character who will have a dramatic impact on the timeline. After just looking at fallout 4 whichever side you chose to side with, it will change the future of the commonwealth and possibly beyond forever.
He could be BS about his story to cover up the fact the he himself is the mysterious stranger, maybe thats a reason for him giving you the special magnum? Unlikely but you never know when todd howard is behind a game
My personal theory is that the Stranger is the first Nick Valentine. The Institute’s experiments might have messed with his mind, explaining his sporadic behavior, but I don’t know how to explain his longevity. He could’ve gotten his hands on an alien artifact, or the radiation turned him into a ghoul, or maybe the Institute did it to him somehow, I don’t know. I just think it’s fun to think about.
See, it's a fun theory, but the issue with that, is the timeline. The mysterious stranger was around in fallout 1, so in the year 2161. Fallout 4 is set in 2287. The institute only managed to aquire shaun in 2227 and that was the breakthrough required to start manufacturing the gen 3 synths. Before that they only had the lousy gen 1 and 2's, perfectly servicable in a fight, but not exactly able to pass for human. So for this to be accurate they'd have to have made this amazingly life-like and durable synth 66 years before even aquiring shaun, and at a time when all their other synths barely even look human, and then deployed him in shady sands of all places, not to mention this synth is so much more powerful than any others of his kind, 1 shotting anything in the world, and then vanishing mysteriously. Finally, the mysterious stranger had a child as seen in this video, which as far as i'm aware again isn't possible with synths.
I like the idea that it's cyborg Nick valentine... Maybe captured a few years after the bombs dropped so that his DNA was no longer pure enough to use, but his mind was able to be copied and maybe he originally cooperated with them until he was given upgrades then he bounced
Stranger: Fedora, Trench coat, Revolver, 2 packs of cigarettes Nick: Fedora, Trench coat, revolver, 2 packs of cigarettes You can't convince me that's a coincidence, however it happened I 100% believe that it is either OG Nick with some enhancements like kellogg/ Lorenzo, or hes a special ghoul that turned but never got the scars. Any 50s cop/ detective like nick that we see in movies/ tv etc, carries a revolver, usually a snub nose. Nick and the Stranger in fallout 4 use snub nosed revolvers, in other games the stranger uses a normal revolver but that doesn't mean he cant make it into a snub nose. I can't prove this with anywhere close to Oxhorns evidence but that's what I believe.
@@georgedumoulin6844 Maybe he didn't stopped aging because he didn't kii with the gun. What if it is a artifact and harvests the life essence of the people it kills and provides them to the owner.
Fallout is a actually a story documenting the mysterious stranger. He doesn’t kill randomly, he just kills to help the people he’s found an interest in, who are the main characters of the fallout games.
Here's a thought. Synths are usually made as clones of people. To go into their lives and replace them completely. So what if the Mysterious Stranger was human AT ONE POINT (Fallout 1&2), and then the Institute created a duplicate Synth to take his place for the next several games. Wouldn't that explain the differences in appearances between the first two games as well? It might even work with the idea of him Fathering a child and then suddenly abandoning the family. In the first two games, doesn't he just walk off screen? That's pretty human compared to later versions where he seemingly disappears. Much more like Institute interference
That explains why he always seems to conveniently know just where you are to be able to help out. With the institute's level of surveillance capabilities thats very plausible
I always think that the Mysterious Stranger thought to him or herself after gaining super natural abilities that they should use these abilities for good… or evil, basically a super hero or super villain self discovery moment, and that’s why these multiple mysterious strangers can help out the player no matter what the player’s karma is set to.
"this guy looks too young to be 46 ... and this really old looking guy with a walrus mustache looks 46..." Are you even serious?? Lots of 46 yo look like that "young" guy and how could they possibly look as old as the walrus guy? He'd be like 60+
Oh yes because Bethesda's game engine was so detailed in 3 and NV you could tell age.. You realize the only difference between Doc Mitchell and Sunny Smiles are the barely visible wrinkles and Gray hair? remove that and he looks 20
It could be possible that the Mysterious Stranger could be the remnant entity of Vault tech, in a monitoring capacity. Maybe to ensure the vault dwellers survival for their own purpose. That could explain why they appear in conjunction with every vault dweller throughout the country. They are similar in appearance to the pre war vault tech door to door officials. Just my take on it. I could def see a relationship with your mysterious magnum hypothesis! Great video
I'm thinking time traveller. His comings and goings could be "significant" moments in time where the PC needs to succeed. At one point he got sentimental, started a family, lost track of his "mission", then got back on track.
Tbh, the Stranger kinda does look like he's in his 40s. Besides, I doubt being 18+ really matters anymore in the Wasteland, so he most likely knocked someone up at 14 or 15, hell maybe even 13.
What if he's some kind of time traveler? That would explain how he appears and disappears. The only thing I can't think of is that the Stranger is a woman if you choose to be a woman in Fallout one and two.
Micah what if the only reason that you're able to see him is probably just your character hallucinating , after all the firefights in fallout could be tough and exhausting as well as some exposure to radiation , that's just my fallout 1 and 2 theory , yet in fallout 3 he seems to have some sort of backstory and his son even shows up , whilst in fallout 4 the only person who can actually see the stranger is Nick Valentine , and what's odd Nick even mentions that he's been looking for him and he has a whole case around him. And maybe the way he appears and disappears with the help of institute technology yet you don't see nor hear any of the effects
what is the lonesome drifter is the fallout 4 mysterious stranger? they both have mustaches, since the lonesome drifter gave the mysterious revolver to the courier, it makes sense that he gets himself a regular revolver
What if he is in a similar state to Kellogg? What if he wore regulars leathers in his youth, but as technology advanced and he gained immortality, he covered up his robotic parts with a trench coat? I’m not sure how that works out with the timeline and the development of that tech though
A good story line for the stranger(s) could be that They're from big mountain. Lobotomite that adapted like we do in the game. Got out and help people they like. They do kinda make you a super human with all the implants you can get. And you can get perks that make you a goule with hot looking like a goule
You left out one MAJOR fact about The Mysterious Stranger.... His name is Farmer (Source: Fallout 3 Official Game Guide) You also neglected to mention his armor and weapons change as your level increases in Fallout and Fallout 2. He only has the leather armor early in the game and will later work up to Power Armor.

Henry Kincaid Get off your drugs
There is some theories that Fallout and Skyrim share the same universe being Fallout is in the past and Skyrim the future. The mysterious stranger kills for both evil and good. Which Dark brotherhood does too.. sometimes.. If thats true then something would have been carried over to that universe from fallout. Like nirnroot. So maybe it could be some kind of organisation that likes to kill.

Plot twist: The Mysterious Stranger is the actual main character of Fallout

The mysteriois stranger is nothing compared to deadeye duncan.
Damnit i knew someone was gonna make this reference, when I saw the title
And you are but a thought - a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities!"'
The magical transportation sounds pretty Stranger-y, and his message is just about the most Fallout thing out there!
Someone should take a look at the Fallout creators' bookshelves.
OzmaThe damn satan lies about there's no god and universe when he himself encounter god
Don't forget, it's called No. 44, The Mysterious Stanger, hence the 44 Rev.
OzmaThe holyshit u might be right
Well Oxhorn kinda explains the gun thing as the artifact has more than one power or the stranger used the power in a way to get both affects.
That.... honesty makes a ton of sense.

Hey i was gonna make that comment!
scrooge mcduche You still can
Why is this comment not pinned
Just an added theory/extension to what Flying Games is saying.
good idea
I like to think he's a time traveler, only aiding you because he knows no matter good or bad, you are a character who will have a dramatic impact on the timeline. ARandyUserName that actually makes sense. Hence he doesn't have the special gun in fallout 4
Could be a synth 3 copy of Nicky V?
Nice theory
Stranger: Fedora, Trench coat, Revolver, 2 packs of cigarettes
Nick: Fedora, Trench coat, revolver, 2 packs of cigarettes
You can't convince me that's a coincidence, however it happened I 100% believe that it is either OG Nick with some enhancements like kellogg/ Lorenzo, or hes a special ghoul that turned but never got the scars.

Could explain why, instead of him disappearing in FO1 and FO2, he just runs away. Then, he is turned into a synth and gains the ability to teleport.

I always think that the Mysterious Stranger thought to him or herself after gaining super natural abilities that they should use these abilities for good… or evil, basically a super hero or super villain self discovery moment, and that’s why these multiple mysterious strangers can help out the player no matter what the player’s karma is set to.
Interesting almost like he’s a mysterious stranger
Almost like he's unknown
Dylan Gonzales almost. 🧐
One could say his identity will always be... a mystery
.-.
Wonder who he could be guess we’ll never no
“ engravings... give you no tactical advantage whatsoever”
But that’s was some fancy shooting, he’s pretty good
Did you know snake eater says that in mgs3 to ocelot then in mgs5 phantom pain ocelot says that to the diamond dog soldiers
@@taibear that's what he was referencing...
👉👉
Just makes him cool
You are the mysteries stranger, you traveled in time to spots where you remember you had a hard time. You help yourself
holy shit
That makes so much sense
I've always thought that the stranger from F4 looks like one of the badguy's from the Clint Eastwood movie "Pale Rider."
Everyone asks who is mysterious stranger
No one asks how is mysterious stranger😢
😥
Maybe if he’d stop to talk to anyone we’d be able to
No one ask WHY is the mysterious strange.
"this guy looks too young to be 46 ... and this really old looking guy with a walrus mustache looks 46..."
Are you even serious?? Lots of 46 yo look like that "young" guy and how could they possibly look as old as the walrus guy? He'd be like 60+
Oxhorn must be 60 looking 40 guy like that walrusman
Keanu Reeves is one example. He doesn't look like 50s.
That's what I was thinking too
Oh yes because Bethesda's game engine was so detailed in 3 and NV you could tell age..
You realize the only difference between Doc Mitchell and Sunny Smiles are the barely visible wrinkles and Gray hair? remove that and he looks 20
I was gonna say, my dad is 50 and looks like he’s in his late 30s haha
He works in mysterious ways.
(Tips fedora)
Mikhail Mcmorrow *tips fedora*
Ayy Lmao no just no
#realfalloutlore
From fedora memes to family guy.
K thx bai
*takes out guitar* Wait, I wasn't ready! :O
Great video
But what if 3 dog is actually three dogs operating a suit that looks human?
Of course
*holy shit*
David Umstattd Its Already cannon
Mind... Blown!
David Umstattd
That explain everything man holy crap how did we see through him
The Lonesome Drifter always remember me the song "A Boy Named Sue" from Johnny Cash.
That’s what I thought lol
Yesyesyes at least I'm not the only one!
Fun fact that song was written by shel Silverstein
Considering we don’t know his real name for all we know it is sue.
What happens if you change e in sue with s
Maybe he had his kid at 16, or even 13
Totally possible in that wild world.
Then the mysterious stranger could be as young as 41/43
Imagine the mysterious man is literally just another player. Just some random courier.
Perhaps, *you* were the mysterious stranger after all.
I'm thinking time traveller. His comings and goings could be "significant" moments in time where the PC needs to succeed. At one point he got sentimental, started a family, lost track of his "mission", then got back on track.
Good theory bcuz that explains him not aging, and also why when he teleports away there’s no lightning affect like the institute teleporter
What if Nick was a synth made to mimic the Mysterious Stranger? And Nick was looking for himself this whole time?
Joseph Lim that were be a good twist
Nice!
Wuut?
I like this.
That’s what I was thinking
Tbh, the Stranger kinda does look like he's in his 40s.
Besides, I doubt being 18+ really matters anymore in the Wasteland, so he most likely knocked someone up at 14 or 15, hell maybe even 13.
Yeetimus Prime Maybe even 7
@@nerdapples4901 maybe even 5
gnarly Maybe even -9
maybe even when the fucking bombs dropped
Don’t r/wooosh me or anything, but you can’t have babies till your like 11 or 10 or something
I can imagine the mysterious stranger as a minuteman who just randomly appears out of nowhere to help you.
The Mysterious Stranger is like M'aiq the Liar but useful
Blacky Sensei the only way Maiq is useful Is of you have enemies on you and you run up to maiq and have them attack him so you can get away lol
Blacky Sensei to
*Todd the Liar.
M'aiq is tired now, go bother someone else
😂 no
Well actually the oldest living character in Fallout is the Japanese Samurai aboard Mothership Zeta who is from the 1500's
Lmao I loved that DLC
He said the oldest living who lived consistently, not put to sleep. The samurai was in Stasis if I remember correctly. (Until you free him)
The fallout 4 mysterious man looks like the valt tec representative
Phoenix Tucker-Williams holy shit you call him Man after hearing him being called STRANGER THROUGHOUT THIS VIDEO
dude your right and only in fallout 4 you get to see the vault-tec repersative
He dose
spoiler alert, ull meet with the vault tec reps later on in the game as a Ghoul
Phoenix Tucker-Williams, I know I was thinking, wait the vault tec representative survived
Just love the way you put together explanations and theories Oxhorn.
Could be like the time lords in doctor who. Gender can change during regeneration o_O
Yun Jae Jung I was about to suggest that
perhaps the stranger in 1 and 2 is your character from the future
It's a family of psychopaths
what is the lonesome drifter is the fallout 4 mysterious stranger? they both have mustaches, since the lonesome drifter gave the mysterious revolver to the courier, it makes sense that he gets himself a regular revolver
Andrei well, that's my guess as well. That would proved the age and the mustache XD
OOOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOO
The fallout 4 mysterious stranger is commissioner Gordon
Kristianeatsegg s He's trying to find batman
haha he's looking for the wayne of the fallout universe
and his long lost crowbar XD
He got tired of Gotham City crime
With the next season of fallout being in New Vegas, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a lore drop about him
What if he is in a similar state to Kellogg? What if he wore regulars leathers in his youth, but as technology advanced and he gained immortality, he covered up his robotic parts with a trench coat? I’m not sure how that works out with the timeline and the development of that tech though
A good story line for the stranger(s) could be that They're from big mountain. Lobotomite that adapted like we do in the game. Got out and help people they like. They do kinda make you a super human with all the implants you can get. And you can get perks that make you a goule with hot looking like a goule
WHAT IF KELLOGG IS THE ORIGINAL STRANGER
@@JosephBallin320 *sCREAMING*
I was thinking this to
@Sith'ari Azithoth maybe the enclave had this kind of technology? But yeah you make a solid argument
You left out one MAJOR fact about The Mysterious Stranger.... His name is Farmer (Source: Fallout 3 Official Game Guide)
You also neglected to mention his armor and weapons change as your level increases in Fallout and Fallout 2. He only has the leather armor early in the game and will later work up to Power Armor.
Steven Van was thinking the same thing but couldn’t quite remember if that was the case. (Been years since I played 1-3.)
Kevin Jones he put that there to troll you because you’re an idiot
You know, what if in fallout 76 you can actually meet and talk to the mysterious stranger, I'd like to see them canonically explain him.
WaterViking Thank you for making my day.
but fallout 76 takes place in 2102
He got a big iron on his hip
KIRA QUEEN
Kira the Hand Taker Kira did nothing wrong
Big iron is a 45 peacekeeper not a 44 magnum
tezla actual
