7:12 Wow this unlocked a core memory, I still remembered being on the site. I also remember trying to find crash village right when the website closed.
"Everyone Knows That" is one of my favorite lost songs that I hope gets solved one day As you said and suggested it was recorded from a TV and one of the working theories is that it was probably used or made for a commercial, one important note you forgot to mention is that it was recorded in Spain during the 90s at the time
About Humpback Hop. While we don't know if anyone on staff be it the show or Nick in general has the recording, if there's a guaranteed way to get the show to ever us it again, how about we turn it into a meme? I mean, Spongebob's show and its merchandise are heavily reliant on memes. We'd clearly have it referenced if we meme it. Even if it would take like 3 years for it to hit the show, plus like an additional year before the episode airs.
I have a possible piece of lost media. It was a hot wheels game that you could play on your phone, i don’t know about other platforms than mobile. It was a 2d like racing game that was like those old car parking games you would play on the web when you were a kid or something, with the iconic top down camera view but instead of parking cars, you are racing hot wheel cars. The control scheme was some sort of wheel on the left side of the screen, and then the pedals (either had both brake and gas or just gas my memory is fuzzy). It was quite old, roughly from 2013-2014 or something. You collected hot wheel cars by completing levels i think. I think there were boosters on certain tracks that made your car go faster, and there may or may not have been power-ups to screw over your opponent’s. I think i played it on an iphone 5 when i was little. I downloaded on the app store so it clearly was not some web browser game (or maybe it was, web browser games can become apps you can get on phones). I forgot the name of the game, it was like hot wheels racing among those lines or something different than that.
Awesome video as always! Great mix of topics here, definitely love finding out more obscure topics from you, and your research and level and style of explanation are fantastic!
Yeah, that's one of those things I kind of HAVE to mention the next time I do one of these. Especially since I'm pretty sure I was THE first lost media youtuber to talk about it in a video
5:22 I saw 'The Hopkins' when in came out, I completely forgot about it. All I remember was I did not like it haha, the show had a theme song that like Introduced each family member who would yell out their name one by one like a roll-call. Only name I remember is the kid with the wrestling belts name was Daniel, I didn't like this character at all so I probably only remember his name because I didn't like the character. He was a tough guy kid tm. I swear he had a Scottish accent though? So I'm surprised to learn it was an Australian show ( guess that's how I saw it? ) I doubt this information would help the 'search' for it haha. I think the animation looked kinda cheap and flash animationish ? But I don't remember much
@@skysarchive I remember it airing around the morning before school sometime in 2006-2008ish? I was a little kid so memory is unsure but could be outside that time. I am unsure if that'd make finding recordings easier? I distinctly remember only seeing it air once or twice? I think by the time I saw it they were maybe doing reruns? Specific details are a bit hard to remember as the show didn't stand out too much, all the characters acted how you expected them to. Sorry that I don't remember much more but if I remember more I'll reply here haha but I don't know if this will make it more confusing but I swear there were more family members than on the poster? But I could Def be wrong maybe there were other characters in the intro songs role call thing
@@skysarchive I hope you find it, I have some vhs tapes from that time that was recording a spongebob special I think but I can check that when I get the chance, might have a ad or something but yeah hahaha. I believe in you and your search!
lost media as a concept is so interesting to me… it’s hard to lose media nowadays because we have backups, and the cloud. but back then people didn’t think about the fact that stuff should be preserved to look back on.

The fact that every video of the song shows the same pink CD player. I wonder if anyone has ever considered the possibility that maybe it was part of a commercial for that particular CD player or even that particular brand of electronics.
yeah nah the CD player has nothing to do with the song it's mainly associated with the song because Jay Kay (The person who uploaded the song here on youtube) likes to put random images that they feel like fits with the song and so that particular player has been an item that's associated with the song
That music clip at the end sounds like a jingle from an 80's TV commercial.
It is from an eighties TV-based medium. But it isn't the type of media anyone was expecting!
Wow, you really were one of the firsts to talk about Ulterior Motives
Who would’ve known it would be found the way it did lol
It's so surreal seeing a youtuber talk about a search I started! Thank you for covering The Hopkins ❤❤

It's been solved! It's 'Unterior Motives' by Chris and Philipp Booth. It was found in an adult film of all places!
_'Gary Coleman... Playing with Fire'_
*GOD HAVE MERCY ON US ALL*
I want to see it now lol. Gary looked like he was delivering serious lines as if were a punchline.
Imagine if it was the film with The Rock and My Little Pony for some reason instead.
I think I have all 14 wallpapers on my old IBM Thinkpad
One of the user reviews of Playing With Fire on IMDB from the year 2004 claims they didn't get to see in until 1998.
Ay I got to say I Really like the background of this video. I just like how it look and the more muted colors compared to the other videos.

@@lurji Thanks
Nice to see The Humpback Hop featured on this list
That last song sounded like something from an early Disney teenage actress if she sings in the 80's-90's in a commercial.
The lost song kind of feels like a J-pop song or an anime one to me?
I didn't know there was lost media related to SUPER MONKEY BALL of all things!
I love these videos
love the bgm
The number one, we tried looking it up with Spotify, not even it knew what it was!
