This song sounds like it was made for tv, but never used by whatever studio made it, so they sold it, probably really cheap & thats why an italian tv show bought it.

I so vividly remember watching 'The Puppy' when it was airing. Even in the clip, I can hear Charlotte's high pitched "Ooo, a puppy! _________. Fetch!" I'm pretty sure she said the line "Ooo, a puppy," multiple times as a running joke and by the end the 'puppy' was acting like an actual puppy
I have a possible lead for finding The Puppy. there are videos on TH-cam (linked in replies) of some of the other promo shorts airing on the Nicktoons channel. Based on these, you could assume that The Puppy aired there as well. The show itself premiered on October 4, 2008, and the original videos these clips come from are from late 2008 as well, judging by the endings of the clips which say when the show is on. So I think our best shot at finding The Puppy is by looking through old VHS/DVD/DVR recordings of the Nicktoons channel from around mid-late 2008. It's similar to how many other promos were found, and just recently, the SpongeBob Got Milk commercial, and the Dora/George Lopez commercial.

Everyone loved the weird dog creature, and I believe they even made a plushie giveaway of it. No idea who owns it though.

I wonder if the Museum of Chicago Television has the pilot for Mr. Smith. If it was an NBC show it was aired on WMAQ in Chicago. My best guess for that weird song is that yes, just like the other user theorized, it may have been a song written for a movie or TV show that was never used. The lines about "Johnny in the park" give it kind of a vague 1970s vibe that I don't even understand, but also sound like something that was made for a movie or TV show. I have another guess which is that it was merely an attempt at making a royalty-free version of a song that kind of sounds like a popular hit by Eagles or something of that like. (Specifically I was thinking of the song "Saturday in the Park" by Chicago). I could see a production company, maybe trying to come up with a song for characters to sing along to one the radio, making a song like that, but then the song got unused and was sold for cheap.

Is there a way you can better balance the audio in your videos? Your voice is quiet and then when a clip of something plays it's really loud. I find myself having to adjust the volume up and down every time I watch your videos. I do enjoy the content, I just wish the volume of your voice was higher or the volume of some of the clips was lower.
