Nice video, thanks for sharing. There's actually more western restaurants in China than just KFC and McDonald's. when you link the payment apps to a foreign credit card, you have to do a few manual identification verifications after spending a certain amount. it's just fraud prevention and to protect them against chargebacks. most people who only stay for a couple days don't hit the check threshold but if you are staying longer and are big spenders, you might have to do several along the way 😂

always carry some cash around. if you have the apps linked to a foreign credit card, not all vendors can accept it. they have to have a merchant/business account to be able to accept payments linked to a foreign credit card. this usually only applies to small street vendors and non-official businesses but in some cases like chongqing metro they don't have a merchant account 😅 probably because they don't expect foreign tourists(and to save money on transaction fees). just think of it as some 'cash only' businesses in the west. locals don't have this problem because their payment is linked to a domestic chinese bank account. there are other work arounds but just easier to have some cash in backup.
It's crazy how busy Chongqing is. I would probably get sensory overload there since Florida could be more exciting. Great job with the chopsticks, but why no beer?
Shenzen has the best building light show....but all of the big cities are like this even though everyone seems to go to Shanghai, Chongqing and Chengdu...but all the other large cities are similar with the building night lights
I dare say that Chongqing is the craziest weight loss city in the world because there are slopes and stairs everywhere. So it's hard to see fat people.
You can use Alipay in Chengdu, but the problem in Chongqing may be due to the lack of cooperation agreements between foreign banks and some public transportation agencies or corporate institutions in China. This problem will not occur with any local bank card in China, so foreign tourists can only prepare some cash as a backup.
Can you share the name of that bracelet shop? or how to get there? my father is travelling there and I would really love to get such a bracelet for myself.
Not sure of the name, pretty sure it was all in Chinese, but if he goes in through the main entrance and turns right after the main gate like we did, it wasn’t very far after that. It’s the only shop that does it there from what we saw so shouldn’t be too hard to find 😃

What that person said is: China cannot catch up with Britain. Or perhaps it's dialects that we cannot speak English in China. Because it's a dialect, I can't quite understand it either. But in terms of context, it should be the former. After all, Britain is a developed country. He has no ill intentions, I hope you don't feel sad.😂
I wonder what it is with Ali Pay & WeChat playing up for foreigners in Chongqing? Nearly ever vlogger we have watched have had issues and needed to use cash instead in Chongqing 😢
Of course there there are different western food in China, but like Chinese food in British, some of them are not that cheap and have been adapted to Chinese tastes. 😂
Depending on the material grade, the price of a Chicken Spath bracelet ranges from a few dozen yuan to tens of thousands of yuan. So the price you pay is more reasonable. There are two main reasons for spraying an aerosol before entering the cat cafe. 1. Some cats have very fragile constitutions, and bacteria that are insignificant to humans may be pathogenic or even life-threatening to them. I hope this doesn't offend you as we locals go through these processes too. I even wash my hands with sanitizer before entering some pet stores. 2 is to eliminate the smell and prevent them from being too excited. For example, you have been exposed to other animals or irritating food before.

In case you dont know how big a country china is and how diverse it is culturally, let me give you a small idea.
I am native Chinese living in hong kong and dongguan, and i have never been to anywhere outside of canton province.
I dont speak mandarin, but my family speak other 3 Chinese languages, Cantonese, hakka, and donggyuan dialect. Cheers.
You need to update your city settings every time you move in case your details are stolen/scammed
always carry some cash around. if you have the apps linked to a foreign credit card, not all vendors can accept it. they have to have a merchant/business account to be able to accept payments linked to a foreign credit card. this usually only applies to small street vendors and non-official businesses but in some cases like chongqing metro they don't have a merchant account 😅 probably because they don't expect foreign tourists(and to save money on transaction fees). just think of it as some 'cash only' businesses in the west. locals don't have this problem because their payment is linked to a domestic chinese bank account. there are other work arounds but just easier to have some cash in backup.
It is also a cursed city for those with knee problems.
And the spicy food will make you shit your gut out which also helps.
@@Destination_Euphoria That happens a lot eating spicy foods here in America.
“赶不了”(cannot catch up) has the same prononciation with "干不了"(cannot deal with), so the translater misunderstood it 😮💨
please come to Guangdong😭
Can you share the name of that bracelet shop? or how to get there? my father is travelling there and I would really love to get such a bracelet for myself.
Not sure of the name, pretty sure it was all in Chinese, but if he goes in through the main entrance and turns right after the main gate like we did, it wasn’t very far after that. It’s the only shop that does it there from what we saw so shouldn’t be too hard to find 😃
less than 3 dollars for a buffet? insane!
Amazing right?!
5:50 that cute little snowman be the 3rd largest restaurant chain in the world behind only McDonald’s and subway and ahead of Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Domino’s and KFC
Oh wow 🤩
So have you fixed the Alipay at the end?😢
Yes it started to work eventually 😂
The old man probably meant to say: “We Chinese people can’t speak English.” He omitted the word “话” ,which means “language”😂
3:53 Wo de ming zi shi Sheldon ?🤣
That’s definitely not fried sushi. Some king of fried roll. Looks delicious.

Ladies and gentlemen, behold! the birth of new Mixue couple!🎉🎉🎉😂😂 and they also come from UK 😂😂 6:14
😂
What that person said is: China cannot catch up with Britain. Or perhaps it's dialects that we cannot speak English in China. Because it's a dialect, I can't quite understand it either. But in terms of context, it should be the former. After all, Britain is a developed country. He has no ill intentions, I hope you don't feel sad.😂
best love , when visit shenzhen
looooove it
20:26He spoke in a Chinese dialect, meaning, I am Chinese and I can't speak English.
Many Chinese people also don't understand his dialect. I asked my Sichuan friends and I'm sure this is what it means.“我们是中国人,讲不来你们英国(英语)”
Thank you 😊
I wonder what it is with Ali Pay & WeChat playing up for foreigners in Chongqing? Nearly ever vlogger we have watched have had issues and needed to use cash instead in Chongqing 😢
18:50 老人的意思是“我们中国讲不了你们英国...话”。可以完整的听到中文语句,当手机拿开的时候,能听到“话”这个字,中间有间断。 (The old man means, 'We in China cannot speak your English.'.)
你听错了 他说的是 我们中国赶不了你们英国,就是中国没有英国发达的意思。
Thank you! 😁
Of course there there are different western food in China, but like Chinese food in British, some of them are not that cheap and have been adapted to Chinese tastes. 😂
There’s a Tim Hortons in chongqing?! What the hell lol 😂
8:47 the traditional 糖葫芦 should be made with Hawthorne, but not people just do with anything 😢 sometimes the fruit doesn't go well with the cane sugar
The guy in green coat was speaking mandarin+dialect(cantonese), so it is hard to tell. But for me it sounds like: I can't speak English.
How many days u reccommend to stay in chongchingh
The man said that we China, can not catch up with your UK, I think he has not been to the UK, thinks that the UK is much more developed than China
