Very good! You explain things very thoroughly. You're right, homeowners think that everybody should bust their asses, wear themselves out , and work for cheap! 😂
Thank you for this video, and I fully understand about customers wanting a miracle for a cheap price.i have so many questions and ur the first painter in these videos that made sense
Yup, I'm one of those homeowners that has spent weeks upon weeks sanding and stripping the fascia boards and parts of the eaves of just one house in the Florida summer humid heat. It royally sucks. Someone's gotta invent a portable fascia planer someday.
no not that I remember. I used to like their products before they changed the formulas to the new formulas new about 20 years ago. They changed to the cheap acrylics that every body in norcal uses. Dunns kellys, home deopt, sherwin williams and PPG all use the newer cheap acrylics. They bridge, and sheen up.
Man I swear, you have some incredibly insightful videos on your channel ! Love it !
thanks still have lots of haters ha ha. but I gotta say it how it is.

Thanks Mike, that answers a lot of my questions. I hope that zinsser peel stop 3x thick is helping me for my project.
that should do the trick I talked to a few guys who used that stuff and they say it does work.
mikethepainter when I use zinsser, can I use primer paint in one from behr ?
@@MrTalkingtrue Honestly Behr all in one paint/primer is good enough for average jobs. Consumer Reports rates it very high.
that works
its alright but I dont like the sheen for my stuff. The flat paint looks like satin.
Man all you do is talk why don't you ever show what your talking about it probably would help more so
If only I could upload my mess
I think you just saved me a lot of time and hard work. Thank you
When you prime, what roller and brush brand do you use?
usually a slim jim setup with a synthetic roller
Have u tried kel bond from kelly moore but yes lil pricey 45$ a g

Why don’t you show it being done ?
thanks for the information!
And if you're stripping pre 1978 paint (or any paint), do wear a high quality mask.
good point. safety first. remember lead effects small children the most.
Will this work for facia?
pretty much but I do sand facia with a polisher sander and prime it unless it is rough sawn.
Got it thank you. Great videos!
Awesome!Thank you for share!Big lk3
Flat tip!! Way to go Mike
I need to SEE you do what you're saying.
Are you mike from riverside?
yes sir
Funny, I thought this video was about how to repair peeling paint. And he says it's up to us on how we want to do it. Not really helpful! Lol
I thought you were going to show
You talk too much.
