I've been to the Philippines many times in the last 10 yrs and I'd like to share a few tips. If it's your first time there I'd recommend flying to Cebu ( Mactan ) airport and having Cebu City as your home base, it's less congested and cheaper and also ( IMO ) the best centrally located spot....you can go pretty much anywhere in the Philippines from there with the international airport, multiple ferries, buses, ect....I always go to Cebu City 😎. Also I would recommend staying close to Ayala mall in Cebu City because of the restaurants, money exchange locations inside the mall and many more benefits too, and there are cheap taxi's everywhere....I even rented a taxi for a whole day for around 3500 php and went to Kawasan Falls for a day trip ( recommended ) You can also go to Bohol very easily from Cebu City, and so many other places. Also, when you leave the Philippines and go back to your home country take around 3-5 K in PHP ( in smaller bills, 100, 50 & 20's are the best, and a few 1000 ) so you'll be set for your next trip. Also, one last thing...if you plan on staying more than 30 days don't forget your throwaway ticket....you'll need it. Just a few tips....hope it helps someone....

You both Chrissy and Rob have a great channel. Rob you get it. I always say when dating listen more then talk. You learn more from listening than talking. A woman will tell you everything you need to know. I want to say Rob you don’t need to explain how Chrissy puts in her own time or money towards the lot. The man has his part a woman has hers and it’s not dollar for dollar. Each person can give in different ways. A lot of what you explain is common sense but a lot of men need hand holding.

Holding hands - you get that in any bar for a lady drink. As you say - it is common sense - but unfortunately - when it comes to connecting with the other sex - man tend to have the tendency to think with the wrong part of their bodies.
When it comes to emotions, sexuality, and planning your own life - the last person you want to consult with is
your family members or close friends. The last thing they want is to "lose you" your kindness and your money. Look for people who have managed to find what they were looking for - and use their advice.

It's always about money. My wife wouldn't be with me if I had no money. We didn't meet online - we met in HK in person and had a child together, before relocating to the Philippines. We have residential and commercial property in the Philippines and a lot of money. She knew I was doing ok but when I sold up in HK she realised how well I was doing.

Even for tango - it takes two. No problem can be solved before it is identified - and accepted by both parties.
Until both parties agree on "a common goal" and are prepared to make compromises to reach that goal - continuing to talk about whether they want to commit without that basic agreement on what that commitment will be - always results in time, emotions, and money lost with no results. Not to mention serious legal and financial liabilities that go far beyond the money spent for a few weeks of a good time in the Philippines.
If I were in such a situation - my first step would be talking to this couple. Their advice goes beyond anything "friends" or other ex-pats could provide you with - since they "have been there done that".

The problem with her story was she called by the same number as she always did. She tried to tell me she was using her sister's phone though. I called her out on it and she went nuclear. Guess where she went. Blocked.

How far away is I.T. Park from the Quest hotel ? Is the Marco Polo hotel very close to I.T. Park? I hear Mike stayed at the Quest hotel, and I like the way it looks and the price is okay with me, BUT, a similar looking hotel is Marco Polo hotel, so Is that hotel within walking distance of IT Park, which is where you say is a good place to possibly meet girls ? I can only go by all the TH-cam videos that I get information from I watch your channel religiously. 😅 no really. 👍

I T Park is a good 1 klm away from the Quest Hotel. I have only walked it twice in 5 years ...a cab can take 15 minutes in heavy traffic ...those 2 roads can just be bumper to bumper. You can't walk from I T Park up to the Marco Polo hotel ... the Marco Polo is on the road up to the hills ( Tops ) ...maybe 10 or 15 minute cab trip away. Both hotels though are very nice.

Investment scams anywhere will often use the sunk costs fallacy. That you'll lose the money you already invested if you don't send more. We are all of us loss averse and can be proud, not wanting to admit we've been had. But that's the only path out. Suck it up and walk away. Don't throw good money after bad.😉
