Coming from a coastal metro, the traffic is nothing as he said! This is a lovely service oriented community because of the tourism and I find it delightful. Unless you are hanging out downtown your local neighborhood is very manageable for shopping etc. this is the best place I’ve ever lived, particularly if you are a bit older.
That is providing you are earning at least $200,000.00 a year or more. Otherwise, forget about it.
Thank you for your honesty…. I will keep this in mind. I have concerns about certain diversity….
A friend of mine moved up to DHS to the mission lakes county club, because every time he left his nice condo, that was also on leased land, and weekend traffic with the tourists there was a issue. He drives the back road on his trips to Palm springs
Also all the Gays in PS, there's a lot
There sure are! It’s what makes my city amazing!!!
@@michaelheredia860 the gays are bitchy there and they are sleep with each other, so there is that..if that’s your thing..
Gay or gray
Well, sign me the fuck up. I was sold at all the 1950's architecture and the good food.
I am concerned about homosexuality…..is it threatening. Looking for a second home but don’t want an obvious presence of this lifestyle.would Santa Barbara be a better choice.
You just said all that out loud you know. I think anywhere in Texas would be more your style. or just come out and be free
Lived there for 15 yrs and moved away 5 years ago, it’s a Horrible place to live. Too many tourists…..
And yet you've been there for 15 years....tourists can be the lifeblood for many businesses.
@@reho7387 no we moved away 5 years ago. Best thing we ever did was leave…Tourists destroyed the city for local residents who have all since moved away.. only about 1/8 remain now, also the prices are currently dropping to date as they have too many short term vacation rentals and have stopped allowing new ones.
My friend had that issue but enjoys the area and moved from PS to DHS to Mission Lakes CC , it's a very nice neighborhood around a golf course with a nice country club, surprisingly not all that expensive.
@@reho7387 no we moved away ( out of area completely) with all the other local residents, now that neighborhood is 100% vacation rentals

Very diplomatically done.
It is too expensive for this working class gay man. Even visiting Palm Springs most likely costs an arm and a leg. Palm Springs is pretty much off limits to me 😞!
