Well that was missing about 40 points of lubrication. Video title states 50 and only stated around 10. Let it also be known that WD40 is not a lubricant, it is a water displacement spary made of fish oil. Yes many people use it as a lubricant but it's affects are short lived when used in that manner. Using it in the door lock is however a good idea if the vehicle is located somewhere that snowfall and freezing temps occur becuase like its name says its a "water displacement" thus it helps prevent water being able to saturate and freeze. It can be used on door seals to prevent stickiing frozen doors in the winter however it will dry out the gaskets faster so a double edge sword it is.
Using "fluid film" on those door hinges will last 10X longer than WD40! Those silicone sprays are fine for the SHORT term, but you have to re-apply them EVERY month! As for the transmission linkage, since you've taken the cover off the transmission tunnel, why not use "lubriplate" GREASE, instead of that "light duty" spray!!
I literally just did this before coming in and finding this video. I missed the fuel door hinge. LOL
I use motorcycle chain grease on my door hinges - it lasts forever and keeps the dirt out of the hinge for at least a year.

What would be the best towel for wiping away the excess lubricant, a microfiber towel or something else?

The cans of lube cost more than the Saturn
Now I get to drive around smelling like a Wildcatter!
Some silicone sprays have petroleum distillates ... something to consider if you're spraying rubber components
But do that product release the nuts? Because I don’t think 🤔 it’s a good idea to spray at nuts because it starts squiks
Can you spray white lithium grease on car pulley ? Obviously not where the belt moves
Very nice video. Thank you.
Nice usable information.
What did you spray on the sway bar arm?
Excelente vídeo.
Very helpful thanks
pro tip.. WD40 is a cleaner not a lube
Most part of WD40 is an mineral oil, so it's more lube than cleaner.
@@Retroaria Most of it evaporates, so it's not a lasting lubricant
Water displacement (WD) ...to be precise.
Power mirrors?
You forgot the emergency brake cable.
Looks like a lot of your rubber bushing need to be replaced.
Wiper blades, I be didn't know that
Saturn vehicle? Lol it’s a Pontiac vibe
Most common mistake is that no one is talking about which WD40.
Just use acf 50 for everything
JUST DONT BUY SATURNS
What did you spray on the wiper blades?
Silicone grease since they are rubber.
@@Tacomaholic WD-40 also works!
