Steven, you sold me. I like this test because we didn't talk about a lot of specs which usually do not prove much, you just, 'real world' tested it. Yes, I'm getting one, and yes the company certainly should at least send you a very (EXTREMELY) nice dinner gift card for this 'proof positive' of their product. BTW, I purchased the E-M1 Mark II based on your recommendation. I have used the BMCC4K, GH5, XT... and they are all great. That said, this Olympus camera is just a joy to use and the results are surprising. THANK YOU very much for that recommendation!
At long distance, still good when you're facing rthe camera, but a little bit inconsistent when your back was turned. Good performance, though. Boya have always produced decent mikes at reasonable prices.
Hey Ben - yeah, unfortunately these don’t have an internal recording feature. They only record straight into the camera. I reviewed something a while back that also had internal recording and now I can’t remember what it was. I’ll message you on Instagram if I can find it.
