I think we can all agree we're not getting birds as immersive as we wanted but an Avian DLC would be nice. African Crowned Crane, Shoebill, an Ibis, a couple of waterfowl like ducks or geese, and MAYBE a walkthrough with Conures, Lorikeets, and Hummingbirds. All of these would conform to current models and rigs they already have while supplying new diversity.
Failing that a Monkey Pack with Colobus, Hamadryas Baboon, Languar, Sulawesi Macaque, Howler Monkey, and 3 Walkthrough species of Tamarin and Squirrel Monkey.
A Mountain Pack would also be a possibility and lovely. I think Mountain Goat (North American) or Bighorn Sheep, Spectacled/Andean Bear, Pallas Cat, Gelada, Chilean Flamingo, Chinchilla, a waterfowl, and Boreal Toad.
I’ll be honest I love this pack now, knowing it’s not the last!

All birds for the potential most likely finale DLC, give us a bunch of birds like some parrot colors, toucans, cockatoos ,parakeets, …. for the bat/butterfly/sloth exhibit. Yes true aviaries would be best but I’ll take what I can get. Plus more „flightless“ enclosure birds like secretary bird, shoebill, roadrunner, ibises and some ducks like regular mallards to add throughout your zoo and some fancy mandarin ducks. Even if we never get full aviaries, building a walkthrough exhibit with ducks, swans, ibises, flamingos and adding a fake aviary dome above it would suffice for me to at least be able to capture the vibe of a believable one.
I do love when developers are very open about projects, even if it means they cancel or change projects which are already public. I think I'd keep getting planet zoo DLCs until every animal in existence has been added 😂

Personally I would (as a British person) love a British isles pack as people don’t realise how interesting our animals are

I’m liking the new Barnyard pack. As for the next animal pack it’s got be more birds, I’d like to see more waterfowl, Mallard duck, Mandarin duck, some kind of geese. Pelican’s are also common in many Zoos. Maybe a Koi pond as an exhibit . Who knows they might surprise us and give us the Aviary pack we’ve all been asking for. 🤞

PS: I would love to see a highland's themed pack, with animals like the Gelada, Ethiopian Wolf and the Markhor just to name a couple.
Great news. But I find it a bit sad that not many people seem to be happy about this DLC. I get that it would have been a little small for a last DLC. But people were asking for a petting zoo for ages and the animals look adorable and super cute. I miss a pony though 😅 I am happy with this DLC and looking forward to the next one. But this specific DLC is great and so cute. I love it and gonna buy it!

I really do have to applaud frontier here. Not only are they breaking free from the chains of the past but they are for the first time giving us direct confirmation of not only a future Planet Zoo DLC but also teasing a new JWE2 DLC that is still weeks away. This is honestly what they should have been doing for the past few years but I guess better late than never.
I also dont think the next PZ DLC is the last one. I feel like he would've said something like "we know everyone is interested in knowing if this is the last dlc and I can confirm the next one will be an its an animal pack the team is working on" if it truly was the last one.
I saw a lot of people talking about it already but with the Barnyard Animal Pack we are now at 187 animals in game. All we need is a scenery pack 4+1 and a traditional Animal pack 7+1 to get a grand even total of 200 animals in game. It seems to me that this will be how they end it.

past DLCS have added many new mechanics in the game that they have not been used properly or in full extend if you want . u can't end a game while u still invest effort to release new mechanics such walkthrough exhibits if u don't use its capabilities to full extend.
last pack we got our first water fowl it will be a shame all this work to make the rig and all the mechanics go to waste for just one animal or 3 walk exhibits. also there are tons of animals out there to be released and in this game animals=profit they will not just abandon this yet it still has to provide content for us and money for them

My biggest wishes are the coati and the tree kangoroo. For the walkthrough exhibit would be a lori or budgerigar rly awesome.
with these kinds of animal I hope we can do a petting zoo where visitors can interact with the animals. But these are great news. Btw, keep up your good videos, they are so helpful and inspiring.

Putting odds on an Americas pack as fairly high with the majority of animals to be from South and Central America.
Andean Bear, Black Howler Monkey, South American Coati, Ocelot, Golden-headed lion Tamarin, Tamandua and to represent North America throw in Sea Otters or Walrus

5th true pig added into the Planet Zoo PC, 1st was the Common Warthog, 2nd was the North Sulawesi Babirusa, 3rd was the Red River Hog, 4th was the Wild Boar, and the 5th is the Tamworth Pig. Probably 5 bacons in Planet Zoo.(Not counting Collared Peccary because it’s not a pig)

I’m crossing my fingers there will be Coatis and Giant Elephant Shrews as habitat animals.
I really hope for at least 2 DLCs this year....a south america pack and a desert pack (am just hoping for one animal...since this game exists)...then of course a winter pack....and hopefully the same next year (that the console edition and the previous DLCs are enough arguments for them to continue...).
But in general...I never thougt that this would be the end, it just didn't make sense to me.
4:27 I would have preferred the cameroon sheep...at least the rest of the DLC is great.
Edit: if it's south american themed, I hope for: Coati, Goeldi's marmoset, Emperor tamarin, northern Tamandua, Ocelot, Golden lion tamarin, Cotton-top tamarin and as nr.8 the Guanaco;
if its desert/grasslands themed....: Brown hyena, Arabian oryx, some kind of baboon, black backed jackal, bat eared fox, Greater Bilby, Galago and (in case of 8 animals) the African spurred tortoise
I think this this will be the pack so you know the barnyard animal pack it released? What is a barnyard so how about wild? Like a wild animal pack that will add spectacled bears, our first flying bird the eagle, black caiman, chinese alligator, indochinese tiger, first fully aquatic animal the bass, and the walrus there will be 40 new scenery items,trees,rocks, and the new mechanic where you can MAKE ANIMAL HYBRIDS (example:
Lion+tiger=liger) you cannot make hybrids without the animals being related

Putting it out there that the next DLC most likely comes out in August, assuming they stick to the model introduced by the Barnyard pack. If we get any packs beyond that, this year is likely to be similar to 2020, with three packs and 4-month intervals between each.
That being said, it’s impossible to predict what Frontier does at this point. And honestly, I actually kind of like that.
I've read somewhere that there are 6 or 7 DLC planned for this year.

desperately hoping for a south american pack with: ocelot, coati, howler monkey, spider monkey, bald uakari, spectacled bear, andean condor, and either tamarins as a walkthrough exhibit or the green tree boa.
My personal dream pack would be Florida: manatee, red wolf, key deer, american black bear, brown pelican, alligator snapping turtle, american river otter, and the water moccasin.
And then I'd still really like to see some other animals that don't necessarily fit together: aye-aye, mouse lemur, or bushbaby, shoebill stork, coyote or jackal, literally animal animal native to Japan, smaller habitat tortoises, the coqui (an extremely endangered frog only found in puerto rico), more animals from the galapagos, more animals from borneo, tomistoma, tegu, grey fox, the nene (hawaiian goose), the kakapo & the takahe (birds from new zealand), sea turtles, and a parakeet walkthrough.
love the new pack and I would love if they do the shoebill or a small bird pack cant wiat for the Barnyard pack
It would be nice to have more horses and birds and it would have been an opportunity to add ponies to the farm. 👍🏼

Well knowing this won't be the last pack for the game, than I can accept and get behind the barnyard animals. Not super excited but hey like pokemon gotta get them all.

I feel like the next pack will be like The Grassland Animal Pack. There'll be no exhibit animals but we'll get birds for walkthrough exhibit and maybe; secretary bird, shoebill, walrus, wild rabbits, snapping turtle, Javan rhinoceros and emperor penguin?
Hopefully now you can get a bit optimism back, because I have to be honest with you, your last videos about Planet Zoo were always a bit too much negative for me. I'm saying this as someone who has watched your videos for years now, so please do no take it as an offense. I just loved back in the day when you were superexcited about everything in the game and made me feel excited about it too.
I have been with the dlcs and the handling. I stick to that. But I always have been excited about the game. To be precise. It's a struggle knowing the potential of the game.
But hey we get more and that's amazing
The fur textures either look blurry or too sharp, hopefully it's just bad screenshots. Another animal pack after this one would make 3 in a row, they haven't even said what the next theme is and i'm already bored of it.
I wish there is a pack dedicate to builder, only building pieces, more prop, more effect, I really enjoy building a park
