I’ve done it 4 times….but, not in cold weather. Preplaced water/camelback at top of Shaffer descent. Rode up to there with one bottle. Always a great ride…nice job!

@@beyond-x Update: We just did this ride as a 3 day 2 night self supported bikepacking trip. I don't know how you managed to speed past all the scenery. We spent about the same amount of hours gawking at the views as we did riding. By the way, for anyone planning this ride, there is easy access to the Green River at Potato Bottom for water refill. Bring alum to help with the silt. We enjoyed every bit of the route, even the hike a bike sections, which are not nearly as bad as people describe.
