    hi!
i'm a filipina and to be completely honest, not everyone in the philippines are GOOD singers. but we all sing regardless of our skills.
the main reason why we love music and we sing a lot (to be point where not so good ones become actual good singers) is because literally EVERYONE is encouraged to sing. we don't give a fck if you think you can't sing. you will sing and we will sing along with you and we will have fun while doing it.
it is rare to find a person in the philippines who would actually criticize you for singing (badly or such) and enjoying music. if there are, it's probably because it's a competition and technicalities are a must. or they are just plain rude.
in the philippines, not everyone are good singers, but we can all sing. because we are allowed to do so without fear of judgement. just pure enjoyment of music and fun itself.

We Filipinos love to sing, even if some of us we're not good at it, well not everyone in the Philippines could sing as well as they do, however since we love to sing, we sing along with the music, and we feel the music as if we're the singer of a particular song, and whatever we may do at the moment, we sing, it's a part of our culture and this is who we are. This video is an example of normal life in the Philippines singing along with friends, having fun, and a Karaoke machine! 🙂🎶💙

That's just an ordinary "get-together" in the Philippines. In every gathering specially during Drinking Sessions, Karaoke (we call it Videoke) is always at hand. Almost every household has their Videoke Machine and in every nook and cranny of the Philippines. In fact, the only Patent Holder of the Karaoke Machine is Roberto Del Rosario (a Pilipino) in 1975.
BTW, Limuel (first to sing) is the Lead Singer of Ice Bucket Band.

Filipinos sing since coming out of the womb, they sing when they cry, when they're sad, happy, mad, broke, sheeeeesh every reason you can think of. Always singing. They gather at their balconies or living after family dinner and they always have someone playing guitar or piano in the family and they just sing. lol. Even in public transportation they don't know each other but they just sing. On the other note, I laughed when you said well water. Must be it ! :)

They are singing in the home/house not in the restaurant/bar. It's an ordinary scene during any occasions like birthday and such. Bear in mind that they are already drunk/toxicated but still in the right tunes. Try to attend any Filipino occasion and you will find the same. Mabuhay! It's more fun in the Philippines.

i came from the philippines but never heard of em, they are not artist or not just popular but what amazing about in this videos is that they shows that karaoke is just a typical hobby of filipino's whenever there a celebration or just small gathering like dinners or birthdays and for some just want to hang out with friends and have a good time. and i can attest to it living there for so long before i migrated abroad, that in every corners that has a karaoke there's always a good singer there in the Philippines not all can sing good but there's always a good singer like ranging 2/10 can sing verygood and the others are falls to good, okay and bad

When there’s a get together, we filipinos just put tables outside the house (frontyard usually), put Karaoke Machine and done.. start the party. If there’s no frontyard, no biggie.. the party happens inside the house, but STILL WITH THE KARAOKE, IT’s a default. 😅😅😅
