AC compressor failed and shot shrapnel through the system.
    got quoted.......
900$ for replacement of the compressor
600$ for the replacement of the condenser and dryer
150 to evacuate and recharge freon
    1650+ tax
    bought the parts online
    109$ for compressor
    76$ for condenser and dryer
150$ for freon evac and recharge
    total: 335$
Those of you looking at these vids attempting to get educated on cars are making a wise decision. dont be afraid to give it a try just take it slow, be patient and use PB blaster (rust penetrant) when u got stuck/really rusty bolts and be careful not to put a lot of force on the really rusty bolts to minimize breaking them such as in the video (sometimes inevitable). There is a feeling of gratification that comes with fixing a machine and knowing that you didn't spend 1 months worth of rent on it.

Do we have to remove the condenser to insert the drier? Can't we install the drier without adding any oil? If we have to remove the condenser in order to replace the drier is better to buy a whole condenser that is coming with the drier already inside.
