Homeworld - Support Frigate Tactic

Take some support frigates and make 10 fighters and 4 corvettes dock in each one, in this case there are 10 interceptors and 4 heavy corvettes for each frigate. Then make a hyperspace jump and enjoy you free light carrier.
Playing against the CPU is not a challange, but the tactic works with human players as well.
Homeworld looks polished and nice thanks to AMD Catalyst antiaslising and asyntropic filtrers.

Unfortunately I can see why it was removed, imagine someone rushing with support frigates and bombers and heavy corvettes, the spam would be inhumane

i was doing this move online back in 2000 when I was 14 or 15. i killed a guy online with this move and I called them jeep carriers. i sent like 6 of them plus 2 carriers and unloaded my entire force on him.

I thought that hyperspace effect was a graphical upgrade exclusive to Cataclysm? IIRC the original just had a "blue window", not the particle effects jetting off into space?

Phoenix_925 this tactic was nerfed. Now for you to do this you need a proper carrier. Back then someone could make a mini battle fleet of two support frigates with fighters/corvettes, flak frigates and ion frigates
