I am glad you posted these videos and I found your website for further info on these motors. Thanks for answering my emails. I appreciate that. The bike/motor I got from a private seller was new out of the box... I am just trying to figure out how old the motor on my bike is (it still had the plastic wrap on it and never used, the seller has no idea). Per your email the motor is a fat pie 5. Are they being made new still? Is there a way to tell the production date?
Do all freewheels come off easily? I have a problem to undo mine, it seems to be welded on, I've tried just about everything but hit it with a sledge hammer. Part of the problem might because I can't get a good grip on the motor (there's no rim attached to it yet) when I attempt to turn the extractor in a counter clockwise direction to undo the freewheel.
I have yet to see a video with someone showing the proper tecnique to undo the freewheel, why is that? Can you help me find a video. Thanks

wow cool ride..nice presentation ,,,,,,,,,,, l have joyrider two person side by side seating bike with 26 inch wheels on the back and disc brake on the smaller wheel on the front,, could l use this motor on back.wheels it is just a standard gear

Hello. I got a nirve cannibal and plan to buy MP4 rear wheel kit. Was wondering wether there are going to be any pros and cons, conserning the bike has shimano nexus on the rear wheel. Is there something you might suggest for that kind of build? Am i going to have troubles installing the rear 24'' wheel kit on my cannibal?
+Valentin Sorokin The cannibal only has a 100mm dropout on the rear so the MP will not fit. That is why I put one on the front of my Cannibal.

Absolutely
Do I need to use the hand brakes
The brake levers turn off cruise control, cut the motor and turn on regenerative braking. If you tap the cruise button it turns cruise control on and off. So you can cut the cruise without the brake levers buts in a panic stop not so easy.We do have sensors you can use instead of the levers. Legally i think you need something that cuts the motor.
would be nice if this thing had a quick disconnect plug for servicing the wheel...

There is the main wire plug about a foot from the motor and then the wire that runs to the battery to disconnected.

@@goldenmotorNA I don’t think so it’s new bike carrera hellcat just my ebike hub motor nor staying the wheel it came with fits normal I think I need to file it down, I have a smaller bike no issues but I’m 6ft2 medium size even with extension is small so I got a xl size hell cat. When I took everything off my smaller bike and put on my new bike it was fine used it one day but I forgot to put torque arm as soon as I put it on the wheel don’t stay one I use the motor, fuck it I will file it
