Nothing sucks down gas fast than a Snowmobile per 10 miles ! That you ride really really fast , old days fast felt fast , today’s snowmobiles , handle way better , but are so quick & fast , 3 the Limit ! It’s like Octane Boost for your thumb ! Oh My ! We made fabulous time on the way home ! Skäl , P.S. average Joe recreational motorized fun toy
Went to Togwotee on a Brian Nelson snowmobile trip in the 2000’s. The last night he sat down and told us the stories of the I-500. Fascinating to listen to, and the same stories of conditioning and getting the small advantages . He talked on how nightly tear down and repairs they carried in a nitrogen tank to run impact wrenches off of. Unheard of and fell under the radar on rules
As a John Deere collector, I am fairly confident there are more than 50 Dators out there. I saw that particular Dator at a show in Wisconsin. I believe it was at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in 2016 or thereabouts, I know I have photos of it. We noticed the serial number on it right off. I realized it was the same sled when Scott mentioned it getting wrecked by a Mustang in a town, as the owner had told us the story. We debated amongst ourselves if it was a legitimate survivor or not, being as it had been much more than repaired, it had been reconstructed with a new tunnel I believe. As I recall, everyone had a different opinion, and in the end we let it go with; well, it is what it is. Happy to see Scott has it now.
Wow, great video! I was planning on stopping it half way through but I ended up watching the whole thing cause it was so interesting hearing what that guy (Scott) had to say. Looking forward to seeing part 2.
Wow! Awesome video Nutter! Thanks to you guys for doing this! So many cool sleds, and great story’s to go with it! Would love to go there sometime 👍 Those 800’s are incredible pieces of history! Which one was your favourite? Guessing that Ski Daddler xx1800 lol Can’t wait for part 2! Cheers guys 🍻
Cool video Combines must have been a great invention. Roto Chopper makes wood chippers etc and it is said the first ones were very similar to combines. 😮

There is a starfire on the bottom of a lake that went through the ice in CT. If he's interested.

I agree, the '71 Super Stinger styling was a big disappointment to me. The '70 Stinger was so good looking.
