Absolutely the best video of snowmobile history. Scott does an excellent job describing and telling the story's behind these sleds!! Thank you John for taking the time to do these videos. This is archiving snowmobile history.
I was standing there and saw Rick Wright come up and Trevor realizing what was happening and who he was talking to before our eyes. We weren't part of it but we're right there and knew it was a special moment. So very cool.
Wow, what a great 2 video masterpiece. I could listen to Scott for hours describing the pieces and history/stories behind them This type of history needs to be shared and passed on. Both you and Scott are helping to make this possible Thank you.
The stories along with history and rare sleds are priceless! The crazy time frame of the Arctic Cat Semi restoration is unreal! I did see it at the 60th reunion and watched many of the Arctic Cat legends marvel at it and enjoy Trevor giving them rides in it. The Gottshalks have quite a collection to be proud of!
Hey Nutter! Thanks again for doing these videos 👍 and thanks so much to the Gottschalk family for assembling such an incredible collection of sleds and history! What a great story teller Scott is👍👍👍 Awesome!! Cheers 🍻
What an amazing collection of History and machines. Many times the story is worth and equal amount to the machine. Tons of respect for the Smithsonian of snowmobile collection
Wow, a Grand Prix! Back in the late 70’s early 80’s my buddy’s dad had one of those Grand Prix’s. Honestly, I don’t know if he sold it or still has it. I haven’t talked to him or anyone in his family in probably decades. But that was definitely ahead of its time.
I did restorations for a living , 6 months to do that ? Wha ! I’m beyond Impressed , the impossible is possible , looks awesome ! I never did a Semi truck
You need to add a few Snow Cats. A Snow Trac ST4 would be a great one to start with. Very popular machine. Then on to Tuckers and Bombardiere machines. Trail makers for sure for snowmobiles. Great collection, thanks for sharing it with us snow heads!
A friend of mine had a Grand Prix back in the early '70s. His dad traded it in on a new snow jet SST. I was always impressed with them handlebars. I never did get a ride on it I believe that's why they traded for the snow jet apparently something wrong with it. Great to see this old stuff
I have a Broncco just like that one that i bought from a salvage yard in Hazelton pennsylvania in 1994 while skipping school with 2 of my buddies I bought it simply because I have never seen another and still have it sitting in my dads barn in Pennsylvania it has an italian Giuditti engine which i did have running when the day I brought it home it has 138 miles on the speedo
All my fun things , that I ride on , have a name , my Polaris Snowmobile is called Miss America , my custom Victory Sport Cruiser is called the Sweetness , she’s dipped in Kandy Paint , I got a sweet tooth , all my fun things are made by Polaris , you name things too ! Quality

Some of the sleds I had would tip over just looking at it, you had to lean over so far that your elbows was scraping the ground😂😂😂😂😂.
The pappy burns story is absolutely amazing
