I’ve been working out since I was 15 years old. I’m 47 now. I’ve tried it all: body building workouts, HIIT, CrossFit, etc. I’ve recently decided that I needed a different workout routine due to normal wear and tear injuries throughout the years. Although the latter has contributed to my overall fitness and strength, none of them are as satisfying as boxing workouts. Overall it has helped my cardio, strength, flexibility, and coordination. Your videos are simple to follow and you do a great job keeping me motivated even when I’m sucking wind, soaked in sweat, and struggling through the workout. There’s no pretentiousness or relentless self promotion involved and I can tell that you enjoy teaching the sweet science. Keep up the great work. You make a difference in people’s lives who want to stay fit and healthy.

I decided to break out a punching bag I bought some years ago I had collecting dust in a corner of my basement. I've been taking two fitness boxing classes a week since October and have some familiarity with heavy bag work, but even with 8 months of experience under my belt this still whooped my butt! Dripping sweat! Loved the combos and coaching throughout too!
First of all, as always thank you for making so many fantastic videos so consistently. Anyone who talks to me about needing a cardio that is easy on the knees or is different from the standard, boring stuff, I ultimately send your page link to them. Secondly, I am just getting over being sick for almost a month. I tried hitting the gym a couple weeks ago and it made me worse. I've been feeling better these past few days and I wanted to work my heavy bag but didn't have the energy to just go at it so I was super pleased to find this 8 round video, which I just finished working out to. Thank you.
Not one of your workouts has been boring, a waste of time or easy. They’ve been well instructed, interesting and as hard as the person doing it wants it to be. But even then, they still kick butt if you’re just throwing punches. I feel myself improving daily as well from all your instruction. Thank you coach.

Oh man! Having just restarted after 2 yrs off due to bulging neck disc on nerve.. I tried this.. I can never take it easy but obviously nowhere near what used to be.. but my god what a great workout! Years ago I was on military exercise with the Australian Army. Got back and the Australian national Cruiserweight champs name then was Jamie Wallace. His opponent pulled out, and he knew I had no time to prepare. So they offered me the fight with 11 days notice. So I said Ok No Worries. So I just grinded the first 5 days on the heavy bag, and last 5 days sparred, then cracked the bag 6 rounds after 8 rounds sparring. And I grinded the thing out over 12 rounds, they got the shock of their lives. I still work the heavy at 49. I do 10 rounds with only 30 secs between rounds. So many combinations I can work on the heavy. Think my name is still on Boxrec somewhere.
Bless my brother.... you are giving the people what we need. I was a pro kick-boxer and MMA fighter until injury so now in lockdown I need these to add to motivation. I do this with my friend who is a novice and there is enough for both our ability levels on your channels. Love from England 🏴 brother ♥️💪🏾
Did this as an impromptu 2am workout last night, awesome as I'm used to doing 1 minute on, 30 secs off. Great tool for teaching you when to pull the trigger and when to pace yourself 👌🏻. Keep it up 👊🏻👍🏻👊🏻
You are the man. I love all your videos and your boxing package I purchased. I really appreciate watching boxing matches more as well, having gained more knowledge of the nuances and crazy amount of skill it takes to execute. I watch reruns of PBC matches and love it. I am a studying brown belt in kenpo for 10 years and am 57 years old. I go to my local UFC Gym for coached conditioning heavy bag workouts including kicks to compliment kenpo class, but I also go when there are no classes and do your combos and footwork. I think your expert insight into footwork has helped immensely, as kenpo techniques are pretty staged and static in class. Thank you! It is very kind of you to share your knowledge, experience and expertise on youtube. I look forward to the day I can complete one with full bad intentions and not feel about ready to puke! Using the crossropes helps, now that I figured out how not to get shin splints using them! LOL ...getting older sux! Sorry for the long response!
