    Angela, I like that you say: "that sometimes looks like laziness even though, underneath the surface, it is not at all laziness.” I think it may never be wise to frame people’s inaction as laziness. More accurate and useful explanations may lie in their mindset and motivation.

    I really don't get the "person" stance, if we are all a collection of experiences, which have been shaped by situations how can you derive a personality from that. I attribute people's ability to adapt to randomness, the more variables in the environment = varying degrees of adaptation. Example someone born in modern society vs being born in a remote location
