    Several years ago, one of my college students had a daughter with the worst type of EB. She looked like the worst case of child abuse you've ever seen. She was always wrapped in loose gauze material and she was missing large areas of skin all over her body. She was constantly in and out of Children's Hospital with skin infections. The little girl wasn't expected to live beyond 14-16 and I haven't heard if she's still with us or not.

      Yes it can go away, there is gene therapy that can completely cure this, I believe it’s legal in Japan and other countries, DONT GIVE UP !!!
