    Thanks for doing a video that is specific to older cars. Too much of the stuff out there is generic and for newer vehicles. Still lots of us shade tree Chevy mechanics out here.

    Hi Chris wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year's to you and your family may God bless you all thank you for another great year teaching us your skills on these classic cars through TH-cam I really appreciate it and I learned a whole lot especially when it came to the wiring I would love to see how you hook up the buzzer on the horn relay to see if it works when the door open if the horn relay will buzz thanks again take care

    Do I have to use a relay? Can I just run a hot to one side of the horn and then use the ground connected to the steering wheel?
    Thank you again as always your publications are very good

    I have a 68 chevelle. Can the horn relay drain the battery. When I connect the battery I hear a click on the horn relay, like it stays on. Do you know if this is normal after you connect the battery. Thanks.

      @chriscraft77022  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      you have the horn contact wire grounded.. unhook the black small wire off the relay and see if it stops.. no, it only clicks when you ground the horn button wire going back to the column.. the horns would be going off, though.. are they connected?

      @@chriscraft77022 Hello, I don't know if the horn is connected. Honestly, I just got the car a couple of weeks ago and haven't looked to deep. I just wanted to move it. I can't leave the battery connected because something is draining it. I haven't had a chance to check other sources yet. The relay is the first thing I heard, so I started there. I will check on what you mentioned. I appreciate the information. Thank you.

      @@j.rodriguez1291 one of the main things that drains these old cars is the alternator not hooked up right.. just unplug all the wires from the relay to start.. they dont affect anything.. but the horn.. then move on to the alternator..
