I was hesitant to try these products I can't lie. I've seen a few reviews and every time, people left out the stylers. I thought maybe there was some tea to be spilled there - AND THERE WAS! (in fact, the tea was good)
For a line with no gel in sight, I'm gobsmacked at how much my curls showed out!
After using the shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, hair cream and oil, I had more curl definition than I've EVER had with most gels I review.
I'm gonna say these stylers are the FIRST of their kind and that they'll absolutely be apart of my product rotation.

@nicole YESSS thanks for pointing out how if a celeb makes a line, it should only be if they have some kind of significant public connection with the type of stuff they’re selling. That’s why it, at least for me, made sense when Trixie Mattel, a famous drag queen who has a very specific makeup style and for whom makeup is a big part of her public image, made a makeup line. But it made much less sense to me when Addison Rae, who’s makeup has NEVER been a significant part of her public image, made a makeup line (there are way more examples but that’s the most blatant one). The brands also usually get more success when that celeb has that connection with their product (and not just like “I’ve washed my face before so here’s a skincare line”, *cough cough* JLo *cough cough*). For example, I’ve been using Pattern (founded by Tracee Ellis Ross, who’s hair has been a HUGE part of her image) for years, and they constantly are putting out BANGERS that are very highly reviewed by customers and press alike. However, Priyanka Chopra, who has great hair but has never really made that a focus of her image, started a Haircare line, and besides seeing it at CVS, I’ve literally heard no one talk about it, even on YT.

Sweet potatoes have a rich source of iron, copper, and beta-carotene which are all amazing for your hair. Beta-carotene aids cell growth, it also prevents hair thinning, and can even help to reduce the dullness of your hair.

I am beyond excited that you tried this line chiefly because you have gorgeous hair and you’re not afraid to use a bunch of product! As a pastry chef who is also (randomly) A cosmetic chemist, watching I thought to myself if a food product had as much vanilla as this product line it would (respectfully) be vile 😂

I've been using her product line for the past month and I like it! I don't think my twist outs have ever been as defined and moisturized as they have been the past few weeks. My one critique is the conditioner didn't give me enough slip when trying to detangle in the shower. But the LOC system more than made up for it. Love this line! 👏🏾
The heavy perfumes made me change my mind about purchasing. More companies need to start making fragrance free options. Thanks for the review!
That's the only thing that stopped me from buying it when Ulta had that sale. Well....that and I already have a crate full of other products. 😂

The Pantene Gold Series conditioner (not sure if it's already been reviewed) will melt into your hair and leave it hydrated every time lol I'm sure that in combination with an ACV rinse and Tab's butter/styling creme afterwards would make for the most immaculate wash & go you ever saw 🤞😂❤

I prefer a product that is all in one, I want to wash and rinse one time, then use a leave in conditioner that leave my curls with definition like his. And no I think the.fragrance should be neutral so it won't clash with any other fragrance I'm wearing, I'm floral lover like lavender, rose Jasmine and such.

I bought the cream after seeing it work so well on your curls (seeing it be only $15 at ulta was also such a nice surprise!), and GURL. IT'S AMAZING. I usually don't use creams for wash and goes (more of a gel/mouse only person), especially not alone, but the definition on this cream is so crazy that I can use it for a wash and go. It's also great for high porosity peeps bc it has thick sealing ingredients (while still being water based ) which helps in humidity and moisture retention!
Exactly!!! The smell made me return it. It lasted for 4 days in my hair and I had to return it.
All the flavours I love combined in hair care sounds amazing! 😍 We're also waiting for a twist out with the stylers!

So after several disappointing trips to Ulta, I was finally able get Donnas Recipes leave-in conditioner and hair and scalp oil. It was so worth the wait, the smell, texture and moisturizer was on point. It left my hair so soft and smelling good and could just use the leave-in by it’s self. I will definitely be stocking up on this line!

I'm so happy I found this review. I was worried that the smell would be to much for me. I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes or cinnamon. I'm sad but praying Tab will come out with an unscented version.

So glad you included the research paper about supplements. Many people don't realize that excess vitamins and such are just peed out the body, not stored or used in any way. You should take supplements when you are actually deficient or have certain conditions that need them, like anemia. Most of our vitamins and nutrients come from the food we eat.

You should try Eden hair products they are a black owned brand that can be found on Amazon they have great products for thick dry hair, they are very affordable and the amount you get goes a long way! The butters are Amazing and the oils have minimal build up!

I bought the leave in conditioner and hair & scalp oil. They worked well.
The gummies are delicious. It didn't do much for my hair but my nails grew a crazy noticeable amount. They immediately broke off when I had finished the bottle and stopped taking them.
I want to see the oil and cream with twist or braids. Great review.❤
