Growing the world record pumpkin, round 2

Last year I grew the world's largest pumpkin at 2,749 pounds. This year our quest is really just to get some pictures with the family, however if 3,000 pounds happens we will certainly take it.
This is day 30 of our journey. We have had some challenges but not a terrible start.
