- Today's gonna be a little bit of a different video. I'm going to be talking about an up and coming Toontown Server Called Toontown Event Horizon basically my thoughts about how is going so far with the 4 video's they've shown.

When this game becomes available, I will give it a fair showcase of me playing on it. I’ve been doing it for a few other small servers and I end up feeling like I underestimated them. I hope they manage to actually get past the development stage this time because I do want to at least log on and check it out for myself.
hey, the technical lead here - my personal thoughts
* the video had an outdated version of the moonwalker model, the new one is way better
* while we're at here, glad hander is getting reworked most likely - I'll see what we can do with backstabber as well
* backburner IS a miniboss (this one is story-based kind of like Clash's Director of Public Affairs), the street spawns dont really happen outside of specific events, and yes theres a purpose of fighting. I think the introduction was too brief so we could not fully show our intentions here
* basically all cog-related numbers are unfinished, and also not all OC stuff is shown but yes there are ways to make over-battles less annoying ^_^
* trying to explain why backburner and bonk work with the space theme of the game [guy explaining on a whiteboard gif]
* we're reworking the atomic video as well ^_^
* shaders are still work in progress, I think the HT2 version is significantly better than Atomic video but there's another version which should theoretically work better with Toontown, which we did not show yet
wizzerinus and pants, why do i feel like ive seen those names before? were you guys on that clash zap discord? i cant remember well since i left all toontown discords like a year ago.
This server definitely looks like something worth looking into some more and giving is a shot. I also think the game would probably look better without all the shaders, but it looks okay for the time being. Thanks for informing us Anthony!

I really like the dragon Toon considering that it would totally fit in the Ye Old Toontowne area of Clash. And on another thought on the model, Dragons look more like Kobolds a bid from D&D considering that wings aren't standard (unless they are a Long). If this actually comes to fruition, I would love to try out a dragon.
I keep wondering if the game would look better with cell shading if they had lighting they could put into the game. I'm not at all a TT expert nor a computer programmer to know on how all of that functions, but sometimes lighting can help the atmosphere in which you're in by making the graphics look overall better and more inviting. I'm not confirming this could help fix cell shading, but it's something worth thinking about. I do agree though that the cell shading doesn't really fit in well, but maybe in the future we can see improvements with that. TTEH looks like it has potential and I enjoyed your overall review about the whole game. If they add in Kiwi birds in the future then I can't wait for your reaction on it. This game looks like it's main chance at success is going all in with the space theme and adding heavy story focus and new areas with the space concept. Maybe even weaving space areas into the early and mid-game rather than an endgame focus. I'd enjoy some wacky (but space-themed) lore and character building, like CC's comics.
Wow, comparing this to how it looks in the server's latest video and they have made so much progress in such a short amount of time. Didn't think they cold do it after watching this video before but I have to give them credit!

I disagree with the oribital camera thing you mentioned. I don't think limiting quality-of-life features to ONLY existing in certain servers is a good idea. Heck, even TTR stated they've wanted to remove gender multiple times.

I gotta be honest. This game looks like a fever dream
I feel the same. It just looks like any other server that ends up dying out. If it does succeed, I'd probably shift over to that one as I enjoy the concepts. EDIT: Sugar Rush didn't even get anywhere so I hope it's not the case here.
I am one of the in game mods for TTEVH.
I have a mutual who does animation for this game… odd to see that this is what it is.
I recommend you check the latest horizon talk episode, they have changed and added quite a bit sense this video was released thanks to them actively listening to constructive criticism like this video offers. Mainly want to let you know because the animation looks quite a bit better now and I don't want you to judge your mutual's skill on what could have been made before they even joined. Cogs
Astrobots does not fit really unless your gonna do a space area I get the concept but feels so out of place
In CC there was Board Bots they could feel like repeat of Bossbot but I think the made them unquie how there mostly schemers and more subtle and sneaky (Jesse Schell Mention this was another likely one)
In ODS there was Techbots these make the most sense for a new cog type I'm meant there already robots and techonology is important to company more than ever (Jesse Schell mention this would be the most likely 5th cog type)
In Toonvesial there Pressbots a cog type which I think could have work cause some one need to report news to the cogs and division for information
I don't rember the name but there was a scrapped server for Politicbots It sound werid but I guess make sense with the whole company themeing
Astrobots feels far out there unless there gonna do the scrapped Toontown 2 Cog Space Ship but how much will space be invole with the plot

Atomic does not fit toon town I get it, at least it status effect could make it stragetic gag but need to be shown when finish
Bonk this one remind of the scrapped punching glove hammer gag I this gag type is better fit for toontown wonder what the 3rd new gag gonna be

How Did You Get The Cashbot Outfit Can You Still Get It On TTR Now A Days
That was only available during Crash Cashbot during 2019 sadly there isn’t anyway to get it as of right now.
