Ive only done it once or twice on accident from holding the R1 too long after a fire cracker, so Ive tried doing it intentionally a few times and can never pull it off without the owl hitting the prayer emote on me (which is a cool note that you do the same animation after stabbing him in the back at the end of the fight)
He did it again and even faster just to prove that he’s the best Edit: Another thing to add on is that he hasn’t even unlocked his fucking resurrection bar yet
I wouldn't say he's underappreciated, because I think most people who actually know about him appreciate him a lot. I just think he's not well-know enough.

TO ANYONE WHO MIGHT BE STRUGGLING WITH THIS GAUNTLET I learned that you can carry over the ceremonial tanto spirit emblems through loading screens. After a boss fight, rest, use the tanto, and then use a pellet to bring you back up to just about full health. The extra 5 spirit emblems are a life saver against fights like the demon of hatred and and the ape duo, and also makes cheesing the guardian ape solo and false monk a breeze. Divine confetti and akos sugar also help against most if not all bosses
@@jaswik2023 It's a cheese strategy where you jump up the tower and jump to the wall. Then, while waiting on top of the gate arc, the boss will fall off the cliff by himself.

I've come back to this video so many times. It's so impressive when you are new to the game and struggling. It's even more impressive once you have completed it. The Easiest way to get your Finisher Blow is to pause after you Posture Broken the boss then charge your Controller and Get your blow Easily and no Troll
I'm learning a lot just from watching these fights. I hadn't thought about trying to use purple fume spark to buff up before Genichiro or to reapply buffs before delivering the death blow.
I love the Demon of Hatred kill in this. The fight has become boring to me with the dodging, running, and spamming R1. It looks a lot more fun using the umbrella deflect and regular deflects to deal damage, and it seemed to faster too!
I use this strat for the shura gauntlet because the deflect kill is so much faster and more fun. Plus you get more out of your sugars because they match the phase changes
What someone needs to do is make a mod where you have access to all moves at once. They just have different inputs. All prosthetics and items, too. Like, Devil May Cry up in here. Then this man will unlock ULTIMATE POWER!

Mortal Journey was the hardest challenge I ever done in a fromsoft game. I got it after 4 try, still not much, but oh boy oh boy what a challenge!

The Easiest way to get your Finisher Blow is to pause after you Posture Broken the boss then charge your Controller and Get your blow Easily and no Troll

I'm learning a lot just from watching these fights. I hadn't thought about trying to use purple fume spark to buff up before Genichiro or to reapply buffs before delivering the death blow.
I love the Demon of Hatred kill in this. The fight has become boring to me with the dodging, running, and spamming R1. It looks a lot more fun using the umbrella deflect and regular deflects to deal damage, and it seemed to faster too!
I use this strat for the shura gauntlet because the deflect kill is so much faster and more fun. Plus you get more out of your sugars because they match the phase changes
fighting ishin with the spear prosthetic is brilliant. "i've got one too you old coot"
Even funnier is that they are the same spear.
