His son married from somewhere in near cherthala side and his brother in law was killed by Joseph anthraper,later everyone knew about this matter and he suicided . Joseph anthreper was a cruel person ennanu ketitullathu. Avide oru valiya കിണറിൽ aanu aalukale konnu idunnathu ennumoke kadha ketitundu when I was a child.

Very good account of the history of your great family. Unfortunately many families have not written down about their history and heritage.that is a big loss.all Christians in Kerala are law abiding and patriotic citizens of this country. Even though we are a minority, our contribution in education ,health , politics and social uplift are commendable.the universal education provided by the Christian missionaries have removed the rampant caste system, untouchability, discrimination, exploitation and persecution of the downtrodden .that is why Kerala entirely different from all other states.
Accidently saw this video. Any how nice presentation thanks for letting us know new tradition of Kerala. Very nice person who talked everything in humility. May the peace of God be with you all.

Eranakulam vennala oru valiya plot ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു, പണ്ട് ഞങ്ങൾ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് കളിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്ഥലം. ഇപ്പോള് v guard inte office ഇരിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലം (a small quantity) anthraper ground ennnaan അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്. ഇപ്പോള് അവിടെ ഒക്കെ വീടും , apartments ഒക്കെ ആണ്.

I thought Anthru's per or andrews people transformed to anthraper. There were some christian sects by the name anjoottikkar and munnoottikkar for latin christians. The name anjooran from Godfather movie came from there.
Fr. Gasper Pius the first vicar of st.Andrews church Arthunkal. Five hundred people were baptised in 1583 in presence of the king there on the feast of st. andrew. Arthunkal church was constructed in 1584. Anjoottikkar or anjooruper. You can also call st. Andrews people or anthru's people in malayalam.

There is another story about the origin of ANTHRAPER FAMILY. When the Arthigal church was being consrtuted the Portughese priests brought an archtet from Portugal. He married an Thiyya woman . The descedants of that ANDREW Periyra is the present day Paraiyra family ref. history of Arthigal churh

The followers of Christ or those who follow Christianity are called Christians. Much before St: Thomas’ arrival to Kodungalore from Mesopotamia by sea route ,there were Jews in India who used to speak Aramic . I remember one Sunny Andraper, he wasy collegemate at SH college Thevara.He was staying at Palarivattom. Before juntion , on left side , main road side itself.Even now i used to see that house .
