I read some people comment that Antony actually played really well at LB last season. Never watched him play there myself but you can imagine that he could be good there seeing as full backs with good technical ability is so important nowadays

Amad in the last few months has shown some real promise. Building around Amad, Mainoo, Garnacho, Yoro and Hojlund all at the start of their careers is the best way forward. If Collyer and Amass come through this season as well then even better.

Ten should justify signing Anthony by improving him. In one game last season he crossed the ball with his right foot once and surprised the opposition.
Antony's weakness is his right foot, he doesn't well in other things for me.

The amazing Jack Grealish got two more goals than the terrible Antony last season. One was playing for the best team in the league. The other was playing for a "terrible" united team.
That doesn't make Antony good. Grealish was a bench warmer for most games.

£400m spent prior to this season is ridiculous. Spending £60m on Mason Mount was the final straw. I was challenged by United fans saying that ETH knows more than me and that Mount would be a great signing well 12 months later I was correct and ETH was wrong again! People defend him by saying he doesn't set the prices but he has Veto power over every deal so he approved Mount and Anthony and Casemero. He should be let go when his contract expires. You couldn't spend £400m worse than ETH.

I agree Mount wasn't a great signing, but the recruitment around eth hasn't been good until this year - he wanted Antony when ajax offered him for 40m...the club said no and bought him for 90 why is it the manager's fault. On Mason Mount United fans told me Mount and Bruno would play as two number 8s like he had at Ajax whereas I said neither were number 8s and our midfield would be porous and Casemero would be worn down covering for those two. Who was correct? Where are all the in ETH we trust people gone? BTW Mason Mount had injury and fitness concerns at Chelsea which was another reason to not sign him! I said at the time we should sign a press resistant deep playmaker that can play out from the back and make tackles but the incompetent ETH spent our limited budget on a backup number 10! The £400m of transfers really sticks with me because I am 100 percent confident I could have spent that money better not because I am a genius but more that it would be impossible to spend it worse. Go and look at every single transfer ETH did and ask yourself if they were worth the money and you will say every transfer was terrible.
