  • This video demonstrates the relationship between transducer frequency and resolution of indication. High frequency better resolution, lower frequency less resolution.
    Equipment: Olympus EPOCH 1000i UT tester, GE 5MHZ, 0.25" diameter transducer with 70 degree screw on wedge, GE 1.5MHZ, 0.5" diameter transducer with 70 degree screw on wedge and the AWS Resolution block.

    Hi John, thanks for your videos. Could you do some videos on the checks we should do i.e daily weekly checks. Time base linearity / sensetivity and signal to noise ratio / pulse duration / linearity of equipment gain etc. Thanks
