I own both, and they are both beautiful sounding buds...I describe it like this.....The 3's are just MORE..Just fuller..However, the treble on the CX Plus are the best I'ver ever heard. If you are a cymbal and snare drum head, the CX Plus are the way to go. It took me a good minute to come over to the 3 side but I did. Overall they are just a bit better. I still think the CX plus beat just about everything else on the market. They are still outstanding.
I am very happy with the CX Plus. Volume is too high, and that is crucial for me since I listen to a lot of podcasts and audiobooks. I will not upgrade them for the Momentum 3. Nice video as always. Regards from Spain!!!
I definitely think these are still worth it; for the right price. During the Amazon Fall Prime Event I was going to get Sennheiser Sport TW at $99 for gym use, but then I saw the CX Plus Special Edition on sale at $89 (The SE's at the time were $179 for normal retail). I do have to readjust them periodically but I definitely love the sound & volume.
So thankful for your ANC Ranking. Half way thru your video, I'm ready to buy the CX. UNTIL, I saw your ANC Ranking. I see the SoundPEATS T2 is better than CX, but Mem 3 is better than T2. Currently have the Capsule3 Pro testing this week. I'll check out your Mem 3 Review and see some comparison. I prefer the earbuds without stems as it's easier to lay down and/or not get snagged with your hoody. Thanks for your reviews. Cheers USA
The only reason why I’m no longer tempted to buy any earbuds is that they really don’t last. Either the battery degrades a lot sooner or either of the buds start to malfunction. This is the reason I’ll buy the Sennheiser Momentum 4. It will last a lot longer for the price.
Same reason. That's why I'll just buy 3.5mm wored earphone and use type c to 3.5mm dongle for my s23. I've owned 2 bluetooth earphones in the past and they dont last a year. Their battery degrades quickly and it's really useless once that happen
Do you mind if I ask a question? I was wondering between bying new CX plus or bying old Momentum 2. I really enjoy listening to pop music from 1960s and 1970s. Can I ask for your recommendation on which one should I buy? Those things are in the same price. Thank you so much for reading my comment and for your informative video. Wish you best!
Great video. Came at the right time too! There is a upcoming sale and I am considering the Sennheiser CX Plus (white colourway). I have the Sennheiser CX Plus SE (black), used for almost a year. However, I still can't find answers for the difference between the CX Plus and CX Plus SE (other than difference in surface texture). Hey Picky Audio, should I get the Sennheiser CX Plus OR Sony LinkBuds S?
I think the SE is just a design difference. Check my best mid range compared video I compare them. Honestly either way you go you’re good. If you like loud level listening though go for the CX plus the Sony have issues at louder volumes. The sound changes a bit
@@pickyaudio Huge thank you! Went to watch your video and now I am more spoilt for choices! HAHAHA! By the way, do you think the SoundPEATS Mini/ Free 2 Classic is able to compete with the CX Plus? In terms of sound quality only (ignoring other features).
I bought one pair of these and when you hear a song like Lamb's Wool from Foster the people there are some sounds that "travel" between one earbud to another that won't play when you have only one earbud on the ear.I had before these a JBL Wave and they were perfect, when i use only one the earbud plays al the sound on that one because the other is charging, but this Aennheiser don't have that feature. I contacted Sennheiser for some help because i thought it was some deffinition or something. But they said it wasn't. When you have the two on you the sound is beautiful and they are comfortable to use. But that feature just ruin the songs, and i use to work so i have to only use one to be a able to talk to people. Also the sound quality of the mic in calls is very low.
Momentum 3 is your nr.1 workout earbud ? Not Jabra 75t anymore ? I am looking for replacement of my old 75t by no earbud I’ve tried so far can compete in bass. I am currently considering Momentum 3 and B&O EX. B&W PI7 has good bass but vocals sound strange and no eq.
I have these and loved them when I bought them but they just stopped working. Bought all new attachments and tried everything I can think of. The tv will no longer connect to the buds.
Hi, can you do a video about how to waterproof your over-the-ear headphones, because Mine aren't IP certified and i use them in the gym, there is not that many to choose from in todays market, and the under armor / the roch edition isn't in my budget right now. all love and respect.
What about buying them in 2024? I can get Samsung buds pro at same price and one plus3 is much cheaper than these. Which one should I pick? Please help me
So disappointed they don't give you a connect option to the TV I have to go into settings to connect everytime..ridiculous. Even my Blu ant earbuds give me a connect option on the TV screen.
Terrible mic, great sounds, terrible software, lot's of bugs connections issues, settings reset and else. Most of it i forgive for a great sounds still one of the buds died out of nowhere after 8 months of using.
Dunno about the plus, but the cx convinced me I will never buy any sennheiser product ever, and will tell anyone I know not to either. Bought them, left headphone won't work, got a replacement pair, right side stops working in a 2 weeks, (right after return not available.) Keep using just the left one, now maybe six months later, headphones won't charge properly, show green light and are clearly not fully charged as the last maybe 15 mins afterwards. Sennheiser is a scam, avoid at all costs.
You do know that Sennheiser has a two-year warranty, right? If it was outside the two-week return period, you could still send it in for warranty replacement, and Sennheiser honors their warranty as I replaced my CX true wireless earbuds just fine when the left earbud died.

Thank you 😊
About Sound quality only, who is the winner compare to Liberty 4NC?
These are actually one of my favorite earbuds

Mem 3?
Sennheiser Momentum 3?
My question is: which equalization did you find most suitable for this TWS??
Lots of issue on the sw and connectivity. But holy moly their sound quality and bass are unbelievable. Gonna buy rhem again

@@praditayudha430 as far as sound quality, I love Sennheisser the most among all brands. Their build quality is very good.
@@randomly_random_0 yes I agree. Really is just a waste of money buying earbuds in my opinion. Those miniature batteries really won’t last.
Thank you for another great review and comparison, Picky! 👍

If it’s the same price I reckon go for the momentum 2. You get more freedom with the EQ. Have a good one 👍

Can you fast forward/rewind with touch control?
You can’t barely any earbuds have this the Beats Studio buds +, beats fit pro and power Beats Pro are the only pairs that have it
