As a owner of both of these earbuds, I have to agree with this review entirely. Spot on in my opinion. I enjoy using both, but definitely not the Sennheisers for ANC, as it doesn't seem to be doing much to block out noises. They're good for listening to music however, which is the whole purpose of having wireless earbuds in my opinion.
Sounds like a weird thing to say but it’s true. The Soundcores are tricky to put back in, always feels like you have to turn it all the way around. Some real hand gymnastics
I know what you mean. I got the Enacfire E90's last year and these buds are damn near impossible to put in the case with the lights off. I almost threw them across the room one night.
I've had mine for a few weeks and I felt the same way initially. However, I've developed a bit of muscle memory already for taking them out of my ear and then flipping them as I drop them in. It works perfectly, you just have to be more conscious and deliberate about the process than others when first getting used to them. But I promise you, if I can develop a bit of an orientation autopilot for such a task, anyone can. And I also reverse the process for taking them out and getting them in my ears without fumbling around with them. When I didn't think about the process I'd struggle and think they were poorly designed but a little hyper-awareness in the beginning will really pay off and make such previous gripes seem kind of silly.
I recently purchased the CX Plus buds. When i first tried them I did not get great sound and the ANC was non-existent, even though I felt I had a seal with the tips. But once I tried fiddling around with the fit, I discovered a night-and-day difference in performance. When I found the best position for them, I would say that the ANC and Transparency works better than the two TWS buds I have experience with, the Jaybird Vista 2 (my go-to workout buds) and the Jabra Elite Active 75T. I basically wear them so the rectangular shape is straight up and down, and give a little push at the top, which kind of positions them a little less “shoved in” the ear canal. The included instructions recommend rotating about 20 deg, but that is what resulted in my initial poor impression. I feel like I am getting great sound, at the expense of the fit feeling not as locked in (though it passes the heads-shake test just fine.) I anyway I believe they are a great value on any of these current holiday sales! Would love to see the case design get less chunky and add wireless charging, but you have to give up something to get them so much cheaper than the Momentums! Thanks for the great reviews!
I've had the EXACT same experience. I value transparency more than ANC, and the CX Plus transparency is excellent. I love the Elite 75t, but the transparency felt like I had earplugs comparatively speaking.

@@tgrzadziel1975 I dont know, but once you calibrate the PRO 3 to the custom spces ive given, the buds have a very large sound stage to take advantage of, some folks will be happy with just having the calibrated sound, but i like to make the most of the sound they offer and use poweramp, to give the richer tones i like from my music in general.
I bought the CX Plus for 70,-€ in Germany and honestly they are pretty alright in my book. You really have to get the seal for them to unleash their full potential, thus put them into your ear and twist them as they suggest. The ANC is indeed terrible, but with a tight seal I didn't hear all that much background noise in the first place. Interesting ... I tried both of them and the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros definitely feel way more comfortable in my opinion. The only annoyance I have with these earbuds (I preferred them to Sennheiser's and bought them not long ago) is putting them back to the case and charging them which you mentioned! Also, I can't seem to make ambient sound modes turn on separately from each earbud; the thing is, I want to be able to switch from ANC to Normal mode from my right earbud and then from Transparency to Normal mode from my left earbud by holding on whichever side for 2 seconds, but whenever I try to set it like that in the app, it just synchronises the same settings set on one side for both of them, so I always have to cycle through all 3 modes on either earbud ... did you notice that as well? Thank you for your amazing videos! ❤️
Good video friend, a question, today I would receive the sennheiser cx plus, but the sound disappointed me, they sound very low, even my sennheiser cx300s for 49 Dollars sound better and louder, do you think there is a factory problem or is it normal in the first days? ):
"Also can balance on an Apple" lol Love it! I own the L3P's and love them, very comfortable, and always the on the go bud. I also own the CX, but not the plus, they came out a weel after, and I never felt the need for ANC. Cheers! Banana Test Test ...
You guys have the most informative reviews while also entertaining Great work guys! Keep it up! I have the Senheisser CX 400BT for $80 on sale. I love the fit and were the most comfortable fit for me. The sound is excellent and one of the best. However The silicone ear tips did get sweaty and Itchy. I picked up the Sony WF1000XM4s refurbished for $150. The Sony memory foam tips were uncomfortable so I switched to AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC tips. This solved the pressure of the memory foam tips and the sweaty itchy Silicone tips. The noise canceling is amazing and is my daily drivers. The customization of touch functions is disappointing. Seinheisser does it best in software and options. I wish I could have volume and noise canceling options simultaneously. I was looking at the Sound core LP3 for its dual pairing function. I have to carry my work phone and personal phone daily. I am on the fence with the Soundcore LP3

Right now, L3P is less than 80USD. its insane for this price. Its a flagship TWS in every way imaginable. I wish the transparency was better. Its obviously the weakest point of it (possibly tied with the design depending on your ear ergonomics) all and all its recommended for 170 and now its basically a steal
Ok Guys, after watching loads of TH-cam comparisons, rankings and reviews I'm even more confused than before. I was kinda decided to buy cx pluses, but I don't feel You appreciate them much and it seems to me that your metodology is trustworthy and thorough so I might lean towards your recommendation. My daily, but rather mostly home headphone set are Bowers and Wilkins P7W, they are still great in 2021, but I want good TWS set to accompany them. I know PI5 and PI7 aren't great and I've excluded them. You do recommend BeO EQ but they also cost much mote than I would like to spend on buds for daily commute. What can You really strongly recommend when it comes to sound quality except BeO. I could find Sennheiser Momentum 2's in good price but I don't know if they are still holding good value in 2021 market.
Looking for comfort. Tips deep in ears canal hurts. Buyed Jabra elite 7pro and returned. Now Beats fit pro, but not for small ears. Designers please work on comfort.
Liberty 2 pro +'s with ldac sounds amazing. Hear ID and rock EQ laid over sounds so good. Returned the 3 pros cause the 2's just sound better eq for eq. They weren't kidding when they said "in ear studio performance". You can literally hear the plucking of guitar strings in certain songs and also WHERE the artist wanted you to hear it.(instrument seperation is amazing when the artist implements it nicely into their song). Acoustics on these remind of the olden days of the bose triport acoustic headphones back in the early 2000's. Which is a very good thing
Interesting you could hear a difference in sound between the ANC and normal modes. I keep mine in the 3D surround sound mode so maybe that's why I hear no difference Either way, really interesting seeing so many great buds come out this year
If you're listening to them in 3D mode then you probably can't notice the difference because you're hearing is terrible lol. No offense but the L3P 3D surround mode sounds awful, very Artificial and boxy sounding.
You guys are the most entertaining earbud reviewers on the planet. I think I come here just for the ice ice icicle, ice ice icicle. Great job. Just bought the liberty 3 pro on Black Friday sales. Can't wait to give them a go.
The 5Hz to 21KHz frequency response of the CX Plus is the distinction I would say. So more for human singing voice not for ANC. I think voice is accented than any other features. I'm still buying these for my birthday!
soundcore needs to improve their inbuilt eq and stop relying on people to diy in the app. not everyone is interested in downloading random apps, also some people would be using the earbuds on pc.
I bought the Soundcore Liberty Pro 3 based on this and many other reviews, and while they're feature rich, I came away unimpressed. They are comfortable but not secure as my Jabra Elite 75ts. Transparency mode is...weird. I didn't like it at all. ANC was actually much weaker than the 75ts and CX Plus in my experience. The sound quality was good, but not mind blowing. I like the Jabra Elite 75t sound profile better. I like the fit of the CX Plus the best. That is imperative. I appreciate the work this channel does, and this is no shot to them, as they are very thorough. It's just that unfortunately, a review from someone else doesn't tell the whole story. The Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros are going back. They have the features for the price, but they are just ok on the things that are most important to me personally.
For sound the 3 Pros or CX you can't go wrong. 3 Pros are super versatile ANC is some of the best. Sennheisers do sound more accurate to my ears. 3 Pros are more "fun" because of how much bass they have for EDM.
Ditto here; I have both and no matter how much I EQ the Liberty 3 Pros, the CX Plus sound more natural/accurate to my ears as well. Also, maybe I got a bad pair, but the sounds shifts significantly between the ANC & Normal/Ambient mode whereas I could barely tell the difference between the two when ANC or Normal mode was engaged on the CX Plus.
I have the Senheisser CX 400BT for $80 on sale. I love the fit and were the most comfortable fit for me. The sound is excellent and one of the best. Thanks for the review! I really appreciate your style and humour! One question: I already own the Sennheiser CX 400BT. Would the Liberty 3 Pro be considered a true upgrade in your opinion or are they more or less in the same category? Thanks!
Ok, I guess you'll leave it up to me to discover if the upgrade is worth it, so I've ordered a pair of LP3's and will report back here on the differences/similarities I find with the Sennheiser's CX400BT. Namaste or "no mistake". 🙏 😉
Allright, so I purchased a pair of Liberty Pro 3 and compared them with the Sennheiser CX 400BT. I agree that they are in different categories. I was impressed by the sound signature of the LP3's right out of the box. The wide soundstage and the level of detail in the mids and highs is really where they shine. When it comes to bass clarity and tightness however, the Sennheisers clearly win. The bass on the LP3 is rather boomy and I kept going back to the EQ to tame it down. However once I got a better balance, the overall performance of the LP3's exceeded the Sennheisers. The listening experience on the LP3's is more engaging and it made me want to go back and listen to my entire music collection. The Sennheisers are pleasant and balanced but lack energy and detail in the mids compared to the LP3's. So, to me, this is definately worth the upgrade. I hope this can help potential buyers. Namaste guys!
I think you got a bad pair of CX Plus. I have them and the ANC is very very good. I also had the soundcore and returned them because zoom call quality was horrible. Weird how experiences are so different.
I’m sure it’s annoying to get comments about different products than what the video reviews, but I’m going to do it anyway. If y’all can say, is there a Beats Fit Pro video in the works? I got them and they are the ones for me but I’d be curious to know DHRMEs thoughts.
hey quick question I got the Sennheiser cx plus se bur the Sony xm3 and galaxy buds pro are either at the same price or even cheaper. so should I return my CX plus aor should I stick with it. pls answer ASAP
Had soundcore since they released and found ya know they're seated correctly when the light turns on but maybe takes a fraction of a second to get them right and most times no time as it's identical to putting any other pair back in their case but for me I grabbed the cx plus and after owning the 3 pro they just sound really.... really boring... just my 2 cents but to each their own

Depending g what type a sound ya like for certain music like pantera or tool I go to custom eq and turn em all all the way up lol .... but otherwise I turn down bass boost mids and turn down highs just a tad when I really wanna hear everything
Let me ask it in another way Can i achieve the same galaxy buds pro sound using these ?? If yes, what settings you recommend ? Gb pro has the best sound ever (for my taste) but I'm having really hard time with the fit. So if these can have the same sound using eq then its a must buy for me
Is the volume on the Senn's as low as on the Liberty 3 pro? A total disappointment for me. Multi point is the only main good feature here And that F'd ⬆️ case...who thought it would be a good idea to have to flip it 2wice 🔃🔄

Thank you for your review I know how hard it is and it's much appreciated. Unfortunately I ordered the Sennheiser CX Plus before watching this review I regret that. The biggest problem was low volume and the sound was just boring like you said I sent them back I much prefer the JBL Reflect Minis thanks again. 🤔🇺🇸👍

Damn Reviewer's opinion on CX plus's ANC have been mixed. From really good to mediocre to non existent in your case!😂 How's the passive noise isolation on the CX plus?
After trying the most of the big earbud brands like, ANKER, Bose, Jabra, JBL Sony and finally the Sennheiser. I can easily or better say too easily disagree with the most of the things what you told here. Sennheiser are the best earbuds/earphones ever made. First time i got them after so many brands, i'm Sennheiser only now. The sound is the most balanced and rich. I love their sound profile. The earbuds have an extreme tunability. Earbuds don't have a minimal distorsion on max volume, even when the sound is tuned up extremely. Now hats down to Sennheiser for that. Especially if you use the best players like jetAudio Plus. So yea... the original Sennheiser's EQ is basic, won't do extreme improvements, but that doesn't matter. You can get an amazing sound if playing in great audio player, when you tune it well. So ANKER doesn't stand much chance in comparing with Sennheiser. Only true match for Sennheiser is hmm 🤔, i'd say Sony if i need to pick one.
@@DHRME Really that's my honest, not detailed, but overall review and take on Sennheiser. I have really tried over 10 audio brands and well, gotta be honest 🙃.
Sennheiser CX r OnePlus buds z2 which is best ? Both coming at same price music quality and sound saporation important to me long back I used Sennheiser CX 180 wired and they are best .
@@Rammothe Sennheiser 👍🏻. When you listen to the sound deeply and have it for some time. You realize that there is no better sounding and more balanced both earphones and earbuds than Sennheiser. Same goes for ANKER, they have the the best bluetooth speakers, also their earbuds are quite excellent as well. But they used a priority on the speakers. Sennheiser is the best as what they do in ear sound.
You guys literally failed in choosing the right bud when you say that you don't see any difference in noise cancellation on the cx plus. Other area you were good..

Just so you know u can turn of the normal mode. That way u can swich trough anc and trans
At the moment. Would you purchase the CX plus or the momentum tw2? Price not a factor.
Good video friend, a question, today I would receive the
sennheiser cx plus, but the sound disappointed
me, they sound very low, even my sennheiser
cx300s for 49 Dollars sound better and louder, do
you think there is a factory problem or is it normal in the first days? ):
"Also can balance on an Apple" lol Love it! I own the L3P's and love them, very comfortable, and always the on the go bud. I also own the CX, but not the plus, they came out a weel after, and I never felt the need for ANC. Cheers! Banana Test Test ...
You guys have the most informative reviews while also entertaining
Great work guys!
I am looking for SoundCore Liberty 3 pro in india 🥲 unavailable in India
Your reviews are so thorough! And your videos are entertaining. Happy I stumbled across you guys.
Cheers Brenton, thanks for that, welcome to the club! 👊🏾👊🏾
The best in the biz. Thank you for what you do guys. I don't know how you are able to put these reviews together, but I hang on every word because to me, they are about as objective as you can get. Not everyone can describe "sound" and somehow, you guys make it work.
Thanks mate,!

thank you so much, the review has been great, I´ve actually come to this point where I tought I had to choose one of these 2, but still, they just don´t work for me... is there any earbuds having better sound signature than the liberty 3 pro with equal or better phone call quality that are not super expensive?
Check out our best buds where we compared 30 buds and talk in depth about sound quality!
Looking for comfort. Tips deep in ears canal hurts. Buyed Jabra elite 7pro and returned. Now Beats fit pro, but not for small ears. Designers please work on comfort.
U guys should totally do one video on EQ!
Can you mention some songs? Want to try them out on my L3P
How about L2P without plus?
@@zacc1602 never tried them.....
Interesting you could hear a difference in sound between the ANC and normal modes.
I keep mine in the 3D surround sound mode so maybe that's why I hear no difference
Either way, really interesting seeing so many great buds come out this year
For sure Ola.
If you're listening to them in 3D mode then you probably can't notice the difference because you're hearing is terrible lol. No offense but the L3P 3D surround mode sounds awful, very Artificial and boxy sounding.
May I ask about Sound quality only, who is the winner CX Plus vs Liberty 4NC?
Can't wait for the staus audio between pro earbuds review. 160 bucks and I heard tuning is amazing
You guys are the most entertaining earbud reviewers on the planet. I think I come here just for the ice ice icicle, ice ice icicle. Great job. Just bought the liberty 3 pro on Black Friday sales. Can't wait to give them a go.
Yes! Thanks for the compliment Paul - and have fun!
Nice info guys, keep it up...!!
If I may request, pls can you review Lypertek Z7s. I am struggling to decide between Momentum 2 and Z7.
Found the Z7 too uncomfortable.
@@DHRME Hmm, this was at the back of my mind, considering its size. Thx man 👍
The 5Hz to 21KHz frequency response of the CX Plus is the distinction I would say.
If you own a pc u own a phone
Just get an external eq on your pc. Equalizer apo is very customizable
Very interesting. Didn't expect these to be so close. Can you guys please review the LG Tone free FP9?
Soundcore L3P are bringing the heat 🔥
Please compare liberty 3 pro vs momentum wireless 2 tws
Man Jarrett you do you! Appreciate your respectful comment and thanks for being here and sharing your view!
Great video! Your channel has been really helpful in choosing earbuds :D
Happy to hear that!
@@DHRME settled on the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, coming tomorrow
For sound the 3 Pros or CX you can't go wrong. 3 Pros are super versatile ANC is some of the best. Sennheisers do sound more accurate to my ears. 3 Pros are more "fun" because of how much bass they have for EDM.
That's a good TLDR!
Thanks!! :D
However The silicone ear tips did get sweaty and Itchy.

Great work boys! Keep it up!
Paul, thanks dude! Your comment and your support is much value. Gotta try those AZLA tips...
Thanks for the review! I really appreciate your style and humour! One question: I already own the Sennheiser CX 400BT. Would the
Liberty 3 Pro be considered a true upgrade in your opinion or are they more or less in the same category? Thanks!
They are for sure in a different category!
@@DHRME In your opinion, would the Liberty 3 Pro be a worthy upgrade when it comes to sound quality? Thanks again!
Thanks for that mate, very much in line with our views, but much better expressed!
I think you got a bad pair of CX Plus. I have them and the ANC is very very good. I also had the soundcore and returned them because zoom call quality was horrible. Weird how experiences are so different.
Was surprised by the 'goededag '
I’m sure it’s annoying to get comments about different products than what the video reviews, but I’m going to do it anyway. If y’all can say, is there a Beats Fit Pro video in the works? I got them and they are the ones for me but I’d be curious to know DHRMEs thoughts.
Hey Joel. Thanks for asking but for some reason it's not available where we live.
hey quick question
I got the Sennheiser cx plus se
bur the Sony xm3 and galaxy buds pro are either at the same price or even cheaper. so should I return my CX plus aor should I stick with it.
pls answer ASAP
can you pls suggest one of these ASAP because of the return period
Had soundcore since they released and found ya know they're seated correctly when the light turns on but maybe takes a fraction of a second to get them right and most times no time as it's identical to putting any other pair back in their case but for me I grabbed the cx plus and after owning the 3 pro they just sound really.... really boring... just my 2 cents but to each their own
I have to agree. But sometimes you want that neutrality.
@@DHRME I think the king of neutrality was the earfun free pro oluv edition .... those things would put me to sleep ahahahahahaha but those are what made me realize I'm a dynamic sound person as I preferred the regular free pro over those oluv ones but luckily sold the oluvs and got most my money back but I also can't knock anyone else when they like sound of certain pair there's no doubt everyone's ears are different
Yeah exactly. You just defined the Hindi word 'masaledar' we used in the video. ;)
Couldn't agree more with you Wade volume was low and the sound was flat no matter what I did with the EQ. I'm spoiled with the JBL Reflect Minis their just a blast to listen to. 🤔🇺🇸👍
@@mikeevans7381 that's a pair I've been tempted on think they were like 80 bucks on black Friday or might still be at best buy but I've heard nothing but good things on those??? How's volume on those and anc & transparency
Does anyone know if Soundcore is going to release their new Liberty Air soon?
Btw where can i get the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro that can be delivered to India, Mumbai.?
Can you share your exact eq configuration for the liberty 3 pro please ?
It's kinda there in the video
Depending g what type a sound ya like for certain music like pantera or tool I go to custom eq and turn em all all the way up lol .... but otherwise I turn down bass boost mids and turn down highs just a tad when I really wanna hear everything
Pantera and Tool FTW!
Let me ask it in another way
Can i achieve the same galaxy buds pro sound using these ?? If yes, what settings you recommend ? Gb pro has the best sound ever (for my taste) but I'm having really hard time with the fit. So if these can have the same sound using eq then its a must buy for me
03:47 Not at all lol. This info is CRITICAL to anyone remotely familiar with a graph. We can 'hear' this stuff just looking at it. Thanks!!
Excellent review dudes!!! ☺
Thank you!
You guys should do a review on the JBL TOUR PRO+ Earbuds
Ok, again L3P turns out to be a clear winner.
I can't control call volume through the earbuds on the liberty 3 pros. How did you do it?
Just tap once?
Cx plus or senn mom2 tw ?
For fit, anc and sound ???
Sound is Momentum 2 for us.
Interesting that you chose Damn That River by AIC. One of my all time favorites bands...
Fiil t2 pro is out now. Looking forward for your review😊
Great comparison 👍 ✌️.. but pls come on stage with some budget one like tronsmart onyx prime - dual driver pair of 🎧
Is the volume on the Senn's as low as on the Liberty 3 pro?
A total disappointment for me.

Cheers Mike!
Hey, a new subscriber here, i used oppo enco m31 neckband which is hi res certified. i want you to check it out if possible and kindly suggest me a alternative option. with same balanced sound or better.
I own both and liberty way better sound quality overall as well as I don’t notice having Liberty in my ears even after 2 hours something I can’t say about Senheiser.
why in the sound test did I think that they where going to say test test testicals
Damn
Reviewer's opinion on CX plus's ANC have been mixed. From really good to mediocre to non existent in your case!😂
How's the passive noise isolation on the CX plus?
It's not bad.
It's fine to disagree! Still, thank you for your detailed comment.
@@TheBladeX10 thank you
I felt CX felt in Seinhesse was loud
You guys literally failed in choosing the right bud when you say that you don't see any difference in noise cancellation on the cx plus. Other area you were good..
Who here thought that they were gonna say test test testicle after saying pop pop popsicle and ice ice icicle?
You should say "Test, test, testicle" ;-)
The soundcore is much better in sound and comfort. The sound of the seinheinzer is too flat
