I got two Echo 5th Gen and a Echo Subwoofer during Prime Days for less that the Echo Studio and it sounds better than the Studio. You have all of the bass of the Studio, or more, and real stereo separation.
There is no echo 5th gen. Only the small echo dot 5th gen. Do you mean 4th gen? Or you have two echo dots? I’m willing to bet your ears have never heard an echo studio, you just watched some other video on TH-cam
Today I received my second Echo 4th Generation, and I used your video as guide to setup. Everything's fine until I tried to listen TuneIN on it. But there's a catch, that I hope Amazon fix soon: If you activate TuneIN by voice, only one speaker will work. But if you activate by Alexa app at 'Play' section, will work smoothly on both Echo. The only thing I didn't find any alternative is playing by bluetooth, that only sounds in one Echo - I eventually use BT to listen TH-cam Music, BBC Sounds and Capital Dance - the last two aren't available in Alexa here in Brazil
I have two echo 3rd gens in stereo ru ming through my forestick 4k and it's pretty impressive given the price loi t, stereo separation is great. Just wish there was a way to link other sources in to them to work as a stereo pair, like my regular TV channels, it just the prime/Netflix options, but otherwise really great and I'd recommend d, especially if you get them reduced during black Friday or cyber Monday etc
if you areusing the firestick, any app on the firestick will broadcast its audio to the echos, i got 2 3rd gen dots connected like this so youtube, netflix, iptv, plex, crunchyroll etc all work including the browser when you want to stream from a site cos they aint got an app
Can i connect both these in stereo (without firetv stick) 1. Connect with the android tv through Bluetooth and still use it as a stereo pair. 2. Connect either on with 3.5mm(male to male) jack to tv and still get the stereo mode.
I do not have the second Echo 4th now. But yes I believe you can. As long as you have them both paired together in stereo mode. I would however prefer connecting them to your tv via the 3.5mm cable instead of Bluetooth.
About the first question, I tried to listen by bluetooth and there wasn't the stereo effect: only sounds in one speaker. I hope Amazon fix this. About the second case, I didn't tested yet

Im scared to purchase this because im not sure if it comes with a charger. There is one that actually says it comes with a charger but its at a higher price and the other doesnt say it comes with a charger and im scared to buy that one. I need advice
Unless it’s some kind of refurbished unit that is sold without the power supply.. all brand new Echo devices come with one. But even if it’s refurbished and does not come with one and does not specify that in the item description, you have probable cause to return the item and get your money back.
@@TechOpened i know for a fact that its not refurbished. Its just the standerd gen 4 with premium sound, does it still mean it comes without a charger. I think the whole idea of returning it is a bit of a hassle for me.
@@christineplayzx936 It makes no sense to come without a charger Christine. Me personally… I would take the risk. I agree. But it was the only way to get them into frame and close to the mic all at once. It you can believe me that they do act as a stereo setup. I could be wrong (hopefully some one can correct me if I am) but I am pretty sure you will still get some kind of lag. I actually questioned some other friends that also have tech channels and none of them were able to answer.

I'm trying to link two Echo Gen 4's paired in stereo to my mac via bluetooth so I can watch streaming services and listen to music directly from my mac. I can't use Smart TV or Apple Music because I have original music and music videos I created as well as downloaded CD's and movies that are only on my mac. So far I've only been able to link one Echo at a time. It won't link both. I'm not sure if it did recognize both that it would play them in stereo. Although I haven't tried it yet the only suggestion I've found is to use audio midi setup. I'm not sure that would work without running wires from the mac to the two Echco's audio input ports. I'll do that if I have to but I'd like to avoid that if at all possible.
Olá. Tenho duas echo dot 4 e integrei elas num grupo de reprodução de música estéreo. Tocam juntas, perfeito, mas somente em rede 5g. Na outra rede falha a música. Contudo, minha questão é a seguinte.
Tech opened, if you happen to also own a few echo dots, are you able to pair them with the echo 4th gen with premium? meaning will they pair in stereo 1 x dot 1x echo prem or in surround say 2F x 2R layout
Hello Warren. As a very small channel, unfortunately all the devices that I purchase I almost always immediately sell them after testing. If I could I would keep everything I purchase so I could test everything my viewers ask me to. All I have tested was pairing both the Echo 4th together which worked pretty well. I have not tested the setup you are mentioning. But I am pretty sure that even if it does work you are not going to get the sound (separated) as you think you would. You can have sound played out of up to 6 echo devices at once if I am not mistaken provided you have them all setup within your Alexa app and set them as a group. Then you would stream to that group. And yes you would get some kind of multi speaker setup but you would just basically get sound playing out of multiple speakers and not anything remotely similar to a cinema sound effect with separation. Hope I could help you some way with this info.
Hi do you know if you can use the Echo as stereo pair with a Macbook without getting delay ? I just send back two nest audio because when paired in stereo I was getting a massive delay on every use with my MacBook. NO ... these do not pair as Stereo with any laptop. Don't fall for the Amazon marketing. They will pair if you pay 4.99 a month for Amazon music system. The cost of two new Echo 5 dots in the first year alone.
Não penso que não. Eu só consegui o efeito stereo utilizando serviços streaming pela rede on-line. Que eu saiba não há forma de configurar isso que tu queres.
As far as I know, you can only use stereo feature while streaming music through the app. So I am pretty sure it will not work with your PC on stereo setup mode.
You can, but in order to do that youmust have to pourchase a very god Dac that seoarate the wto channels and that´s expensive to the point to better invest in a 2.1 system.
