    This video provides minimal valued content, it’s really just a commercial puff piece.
    If you’re going to “review” shafts, you need a reference, more like how you’ll review a driver head vs your gamer. You did a really informative shaft review awhile back when you tested the entire GD Tour AD lineup. For this shaft, at very least I would have tested these 2 against your game GD VR. Even better would’ve been the VR alongside Alex’s previous work like the Ventus & Ventus TR. Maybe throw in a Diamana GT and Speeder Platinum and/or NX since those are the industry standard for smooth/feel oriented premium shafts.
    I would consider myself the target audience for this given my disfavor for Ventus and Ventus TR due to a board like feel. I’ve always loved the Speeder and Diamana for their spectacular smooth feel and response. Without a reference for this new shaft, this vid doesn’t make me want to give it a try

    After switching to the Hzrdus Hulk shaft in my Ping G430 10k, I cannot imagine a better driver shaft out there. I know its very stiff, so for guys that like to work the ball its not the best, but the combination of the Ping 10k head and the hulk shaft has been perfection for me.
    Loving the shaft reviews guys, keep up the great content!

    I don't get all these "It's a commercial comments" it's a business isn't it not a public information service. The team behind this shaft have a very impressive CV, Vista Pro, Axiom, Pro, Speeder Pro, Motore, Blur, Ventus, and Ventus TR. Club Champion getting a month exclusive is a coo for them and if they want others to follow suite it's makes sense to be nice about the product, if it stunk they wouldn't even be showing it, clearly given the pedigree of the company founders it would be a good product, perfect fit for everyone..well no that why there's a wall of shafts. Down the line the comparisons to others will come.

      Since Alex was always at Fujikura, it would therefore need to be a Fujikura shaft. The most famous and treasured Fujikura shafts , during Alex’s 30 years there, are the Speeder lineup. He was not really involved with most Speeder shafts, at least to my knowledge. The lone Speeder I’m aware he was directly involved with is the Speeder Pro and Speeder Pro TS, which were highly regarded in the mid-late 20-teens.
      The Speeder Pro in particular was a legend on long drive circuit, known for its prominent kick while TS version featured much less kick feel but excellent stability in a heavier ‘Tour weight’ driver shaft without the board feel of most heavy driver shafts. I’m betting it was one of these 2 shafts they are talking about, especially since they were not an oem supplied shaft thus pretty rare since being discontinued over 5 years ago.

    On their website, they dont mention flex by description, but by numbers 3,4,5. So is 3 a regular, 4 -stiff and 5 - X-stiff? They also dont mention torque or section stiffness numbers, which people can use to try and relate to or get a general idea. Now of course, maybe that is intentional to force people to try it without any preconceived notions, but still would be nice to know for those that cant try it out.

    Is it recommended for folks to adhere to the same manufacturer for shafts, if possible? Say if UST works in the woods, maybe look at UST for irons as-well for the same feel/action, or is that not always the case?

    • @BlueDragonKorea
      @BlueDragonKorea 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Don't think it's always the case. If you look at tour bags, you'll see a variety of manufacturers. (Although most tour players seem to like the same shaft manufacturer in their woods, and then their irons + wedges). It's all personal preference and just because one manufacturer works well in the irons doesn't mean that their design will pair well with your swing in the longer clubs, or vice versa.

    • @MichaelM-to4sg
      @MichaelM-to4sg 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not that amateurs should EVER follow the equipment choices of tour pros, but I would estimate more pros play different manufacturers shafts just in their woods alone. There are very few players paid to play a shaft, though many shaft oem’s offer contingency $$ for tournament results. The exceptions are DJ and Bryson who play exclusively LA Golf shafts, Bryson uses LA Golf shafts in all 14 clubs, though both are stakeholders in LA Golf.

    • @inflatablemooseadventures
      @inflatablemooseadventures 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MichaelM-to4sg Makes sense. I ended up going UST in everything except for the wedges/putter - off the shelf vokeys/tm putter. The recoil/proforce shafts help me load them easier. Will probably never do steel again.
