Hello my friend. Do not store expensive carbide inserts in a box where they can touch each other. Especially those inserts with a sharp cutting edge will soon be spoiled. Your insert No 2 is for Aluminum and has a very sharp and sensitive cutting edge.
There are dedicated inserts for roughing with high speed, heavy cutting and others for finishing. Carbide bits are available for different grades of steel and non-ferrous metals. Everyone has its's own recommended cutting speed, chip depth and feed value, you should follow them. The last two numbers of the blade code ( TPMR 110304 ) indicate the radius of the blade (04=0.4 mm), the depth of the chip must always be greater than this radius.
Very good work my friend❤
Thanks, bro🙂
Great video! Thank you.
Thanks, my friend!
Un video de excepție. Îmi place cum ai explicat și arătat, îmi place curățenia la locul de muncă, dar nu sunt de acord că ai luat șpanul cu mâna. În rest nota 10.Salutări din România.
Thanks for the useful information. Very good. I just noticed that you have a DRO on your compound slide...I have never seen that before.
DRO is an indispensable function on the lathe and milling machine! Thank you for watching and welcome🙂
Thank you very much.
Thanks, man🙂
Muito obrigado pela formação 👊🤝👌🇧🇷
Thanks my friend and welcome😉
Um 👍só pelo trabalho que deu pra gravar o vídeo.
Thank you my friend and welcome🙏
Great to see a proper deep cut. For the TNMG inserts (last trial) making the feed larger would probably have helped to get the chips to chip rather than string. Also you were at the bottom of the recommended surface speed so going up in speed may also be good - but I don't think so given the color of the chips.
Thanks my friend and welcome!
Grazie sei veramente bravo 🎉
Thanks, my friend!
Having a still picture for the close up is a good idea, camera's with macro facilities generally have better lenses
I agree! Welcome🙂
