Good videos. You have a nice workshop, good machines and always very clean. Thank you.
Thank you my friend and welcome🙏
And no work gets done.
Gracias muchas GRACIAS
Thank you my friend and welcome🙏
Good video my friend❤❤❤
Thanks, bro😉
Simple and doable ideas for many enthusiasts.
Hay mucho que aprender..😊
I wish I could keep my lathe as clean as yours!
A clean lathe is not a useful lathe.
My god, that runout on the drilling was historic!
Can’t please everybody , but most of us appreciate what you do . Thank you .
Thank you my friend and welcome🙏
Thanks for the great tips man! Also your workshop is awesome, congratulations!
Thank you my friend and welcome🙏
A pleasure to watch!
very nice and very sympathetic.
Thank you very much bro🙂
Thank you very much my friend and welcome👍🤝🙏
NAGYON JÓ VAGY FIÚ! GRATULÁLOK!!!
Thank you and welcome!
Good ideas.
Thank you my friend and welcome🙏
Super 🎉 gratulálok!
Thank you and welcome!
Great videos fella. Don't listen to old men with no advice.
All three were great. The last one I said out loud WOW!
Why do all these guys take a piece out of the mill vise and put it in a shop vise to tap a hole? Makes no sense to me. But hey! I’m just a 72 yr. Old machinist with over 50 years experience. 😊 I can’t believe he put that rusty tapered shank in that nice tailstock spindle. That’s a drill chuck not a mill chuck. 😮
Because he is a hacker not a machinist.
Most people these days do NOT understand machining processes. They are mostly hacks.
Did you see the drill wobble at 0:50 ? and he continues on as if it's normal and then at the END he uses a center drill .🤣
Good grief the centre drill is the starting drill not the champher on the wobbly hole after the fact.😵💫🇦🇺🐈⬛😎
I am a similar vintage machinist as you, and also can't believe.....................literally every tool is used incorrectly in these "brilliant ideas"! When I was an apprentice, I would have gotten a size 10 in the ass for all of these practices. Shame that he is teaching others his skill set...............

Congratulations for your videos: really useful and interesting. For a novice like me it would be useful to know the spindle speeds set for the different types of machining. Thank you
Super!
Thanks🙂
that first one with the magnet will only work if the face of the part in the chuck is already perpendicular to the spindle bore otherwise when attracted to the magnet in the tail stock it will cock at an angle.
Wow!!!
Welcome my friend!
Infinite thumbs up
Welcome my friend!
You're a champion with commen sense
Congratulations, you are really good, could you tell me which lathe you have?
Thank you my friend! Metal Master X40100 Lathe! Welcome!
Happy the ones that are thinking they are the only one that knows.
Until they find out otherwise.
I don't know about brilliant but there is a glow.
Been doing this for decades, don't need a "special tool ", just the tail stock and a taper sleeve
You don't like using a center drill before you drill a hole, do you. ??
Confucius say: "Beware of man who give himself thumbs up."
Welcome!
🤡👍
👏👏👏
Looks like a good video, but I do feel some of the "hacks" aren't going to work. I'm also wondering whether it is on accident that we don't actually see the drill milling.
A mate of mine has just bought his first lathe, he watches TH-cam vids for hints tips and guidance.....
whats the brand lathe you using?
👍👍👍
Thank you very much!
👍🏻
Nice work. Your boring bar holder. Did you make or buy. If you made it, make a video of you making one for ME.
Thank you very much!
WOw, amAzING, you invented a fly cutter. Better patent your idea b4 someone steals it.
I like watching your videos but i have just watched you make this last tool ,and when it is finished you use it, but we cant see what you are doing. we want to see. need to see everything as we are learning from you. great work, great videos, great workshop.but show all. Thanks
I don't even have a lathe and haven't run one for 30+ years so honest question why would you not want the hole you're flung to be concentric with the outside diameter?
That magnet isn't true, and neither is the piece you put in the chuck. It's wobbling when you start the lathe. Also, that hole in the magnet tool being off center is hella annoying.
The magnet was lower than the rim. I hope.
Ben burada enteresan birşey göremedim ise yeni başlayan acemilerin begenecegi birşeyler yapiyor😂
matkap motorunu bağlarken aparatı pensli yap.civatalar matkap motoruna zarar verir
Still no soft jaws for your engineers vyce I see😢. Shame too always be damaging machined surfaces in this way!
Welcome my friend!
I only wanted to know what it was for so I had to scroll ahead to find out.
Should have used the centre drill first 😂😂😂
Ah good 5:58 you remembered
Why did you indicator not move when you removed it from the part?? old trick of setting the indicator at the end of travel. just show the actual face runout.
Has the vice ever been used or the lathe? Plus drill not centred properly just as easy to put the work in the chuck not too tight and run the lathe in reverse then run the tool up against the work to straighten up sorry to be picky
Welcome!
Nice workshop, but nothing new or special being made here.
you cant hold a endmill in tre point chuck ,, Three point chucks are actually bad at holding workpieces. 4-6 point is better, especially if you take large chips
Welcome my friend!
Spotless lathe?. Probably spends more time cleaning than turning.
Don't be negative mate , give the guy a go .
@@mikemoore5929 Not commenting on the work, just how clean.
Is this serious?...😮
This guy definitely isn't a machnist
☝👌👍👍🤝🤝😎
Thanks, bro!
Centrado te salio el agujero
Nope. I never seen a carbide bit before.
Não vi nada interessante ai. Perdi quase 20 minutos vendo isso
Thuro check Kiya daily gej tuch nahi kiya
BRAWO...
No good idea
He is an amateur. Just look at that dog $h/t tool post.
If you can’t talk l can’t watch
Welcome🙂
super cool, super cool, super super super cool
Thank you my friend!
I think you meant to say "super novice"...If you think this is cool, you've probably never worked as a machinist or engineer.
@@skaelring-xj3gq why?
@@atomscombining9054 Exactly: why?
@@atomscombining9054 Your enthusiasm is admirable but this is textbook poor machining practice.
I can see why you don’t work in a real machine shop because doing shit like that would get you fired in a heartbeat lmao
I think I lost 20-30 IQ points watching you make that “fly” cutter.
49 years of cnc and manual machining here…..I know a little😁
@@cliffmorrison7074 It's embarrassing to watch, especially with all of the "great job" comments. No wonder American manufacturing is in the shitter...To be fair, the dude has more skill than a novice but nowhere near enough to be confidently posting videos for the whole world to view.
