I like those smaller places in the French Colonial style. Whilst some of those mansions look incredible, they are just way too big. I would get lost in them. I'd never be able to find my way out.
@@roamingRichard It would like painting the Harbour Bridge. You would finally get to one end of the house and have finished the entire clean, then you go back to the other end and start again. It would be the 'Ground Hog Day' of housekeeping.
I have seen these kind of neighbourhoods in Ho Chi Minh as well, especially in district 7. We live in Kuala Lumpur and what amazes me, is that those neighbourhoods in KL are almost always within gated and guarded compounds, where one most certainly would not be allowed to walk around with a camera filming the premises.
Loved this interesting video…Seeing how the other half live in Vietnam…😮…You would think it would be a gated community like Sanctuary Cove here or Hope Island etc…Security all over it chasing you down if you sneak in there…They have the gatekeeper then all the security guys cruise around in there golf buggy’s…Oh and everyone has a white fluffy poodle with Diamond collars and bows in there hair…😂…Great to see them taking care of the area outside the houses though….
I went on a personalised tour of 'millionaires row' in HCMC. My guide mentioned that all the houses are owned by members of the Communist Party. We both had a good laugh when discussing the tenets and values of communism.
@@roamingRichard Yeah it was a great half-day curated tour. Only cost VND700K and that included a seafood buffet lunch. For $45, you get a four hour curated tour on the back of a scooter, and you get to stuff your face with yummy seafood BBQ. I love Vietnam.
Which house do you want ?

Hi there was no problem filming the area at all 😁
@@roamingRichard shocking!
Material wealth doesn't equate to being a happy or fulfilled human being.
Yes very true 👍
From experience I can tell it certainly adds to the quality of life and happiness, when living in a luxurious villa or apartment.
@ I only wish LOL . We do like space around us

As we know in Communism all are equal, but some of us are more equal than others.
