If the key didn’t fall out of the castle how did Luigi get stuck in that wall and if he didn’t get stuck in the wall and go with the castle why didn’t he just keep on looking for it the castle as another story plot. I mean he did say he would look in the castle for the key but yet again HOW DID THE KEY GET INTO HIS EXAUST PIPE!!!!!
maybe a folded solder who had the key and was outside had put in the key into the exhaust pipe and put the kart on its side just becase he felt like doing it or something
I think that the theory about it falling off when Olly took the castle makes a lot of sense, because at the end of the game Luigi says that he has been looking for the key the whole time all for nothing, implying that the key was in his kart the whole time.

Great comment, I love the thought, that's a really good thing to keep in mind! There's something really funny in this game: there is a boolean value that keeps track of it you've spoken with the Origami Craftsman Toad and learned the technique that you use against Olly, but if you use hacking to skip that part of the game, Olivia can still use the hammer ability! I was really surprised the technique still worked! We take a look at that in my "What happens if you skip to the final boss in Paper Mario: The Origami King" video if you're interested! I joked constantly that Luigi had the key the entire time and just wanted to be useful, then set up the exhaust pipe thing so he could stick to his story.

I think that bowser had a spare key in his castle the a goomba tried to prank luigi, put it in his exhaust and that explains it. But i like your idea to

That's a very good question! I haven't used any vellumentals other than the ice vellumental on scissors, so I'm not sure. Is using the water vellumental on scissors an option?
I think it was weird that the doors were lock when Mario and Luigi entered the castle before Olly took it to the volcano but then also someone else could have placed the key to Luigi’s kart and then it would have been a different story once he have found out about the peach’s castle key being in the exhaust pipe the whole time.

It would be really unlikely for the key to fall *exactly* in place and topple over in such a way that Mario *just so happens* to not be able to see it! It still would be my first guess for now, because I can't think of any other opportunity that's more likely! That, plus Luigi's comment that "It's been there the whole time?" makes me think he might be referring to when he first got his kart back, but I'm not sure about that Thank you for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!

One thing to note is that the castle is in place at the beginning of the game when Mario falls into the dungeon, and it's on top of a volcano at the end of the game :) Weird how Luigi survives the fall but Mario gets game over if he falls in
ZXMany also if stapler was in the dungeon of the castle wouldn’t stapler still be in the castle ruins? I don’t think olly has been working at the gym lately unless stapler has magical legs

Can you beat the boss sumo bro without knocking him out of his cloud? It's really hard to test in the battle lab cause weapon durability and him having raised defense on his cloud.

maybe asking sheezs from boundary break to move the camera, maybe the key is already in there right at the start and because we can't see it, it's not possible. So by checking the kart, maybe either from the point we see the kart turned over, or maybe when Luigi is running away, maybe they added something of Luigi driving off.
@@goldenyoshistar1 Yeah, I was actually thinking about what would happen if we were able to move the camera: I wonder if the updated model of the kart would show up right away, or if it would still show the old kart without the key. It's even possible that it was intended in the story that the key would be there right away, but it wasn't added in the model at that point because it wasn't expected that we would be able to see it. If we there's a way to move around the camera (and ask the writers), we could find out!
Maybe this is what happened: Looks like there's a toad that have a key. Then, he fell off and drops the key and stuck inside the pipe of Luigi's kart. Luigi didn't look back. So, he didn't realize the key is on the pipe.
Theory: a unfolded koopa thought that Luigi customized a key, so he put it in his exhaust pipe when he found it (which would be after he found bowsers key) but then realized it was the castle key so he tried to get it out but failed.

He is also the lead designer at Vanpool Corporation, one of the studios that Nintendo funds through a mutual partnership. He and his team designed the gameplay of and wrote the story for Freshly-Picked! Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland and its sequel. It's their writing style/playing on the serendipity the Mario Bros. encounter on their adventures to have the key to Peach's Castle fall out of the castle itself and into the exhaust pipe of Luigi's kart. And then they had the kart flip over to hide the sight of the key being there. Excellent deduction on your part, Sir!

Yeah, it does seem ridiculous, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the intended plot because of Luigi's line when he finds out that the key was in the exhaust pipe: "Mama mia! It's been there the whole time? So all this searching I've been doing was for nothing..." He's the designer from Vanpool like I mentioned, but he's also the person who wrote the plot, story, and scenario of this game too. The whole dumb luck of Luigi getting the key to Peach's Castle stuck in his kart's exhaust pipe only to find it conveniently, long after the fact is a storyline that is a staple of Mr. Kudou's writing style. That's why had I mentioned Mr. Kudou and explained about his other work for Nintendo through Vanpool, his employer.
There was only one theory discussed, so you probably didn't need to put "#1", but overall it was an interesting discussion on said theory. I also think that the key probably got stuck in the exhaust pipe when the castle rose off of the ground, as that seems like the most likely possibility. Also, just a bit of constructive criticism, but you might try slowing down when you talk. It looks like you're trying not to pause very much, which might happen when someone is nervous on-camera. I'm someone that's trying to start making playthroughs (I have Asperger syndrome (a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder,), and got depression when I was 12, so it's near impossible for me to communicate with others in real life (which might also affect how I act on-camera, but I'm not entirely sure)), and it's still difficult for me to act natural on-camera (even though I haven't even uploaded my first playthrough, lol.) My advice is to keep practicing on it, and you'll eventually get better over time!
But the thing is, the kart was flipped over, right? And we couldn't see the exhaust pipe because the kart was flipped over, right? So, the key couldn't have fallen in when the castle was lifted up.
I wish we could use the manhole hook to pick the lock and open the door lol Actually, I kept trying to use the manhole hook every chance I got in my playthrough XD
Funny story, when I was first at Shogun Studios and the Dry Bones were tossing around the item that we needed and they wanted something in exchange for it, I thought I had to give them the manhole hook to toss around and they would give me what I needed
At the beginning of the game you would see something falling out of Sky Pincus and also White promethazine where are the castle. And maybe that kid landed straight into that sort by the way these and now is in there at the end of the game
I think that luigi found the key in the room at the start but made a deal with the developers to hide it to make a better plot line NINTENDO CALL ME ABOUT THAT

I'm someone that's trying to start making playthroughs (I have Asperger syndrome (a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder,), and got depression when I was 12, so it's near impossible for me to communicate with others in real life (which might also affect how I act on-camera, but I'm not entirely sure)), and it's still difficult for me to act natural on-camera (even though I haven't even uploaded my first playthrough, lol.) My advice is to keep practicing on it, and you'll eventually get better over time!

it was when king olly took peach's castle.
But the thing is, the kart was flipped over, right? And we couldn't see the exhaust pipe because the kart was flipped over, right? So, the key couldn't have fallen in when the castle was lifted up.
maybe it was when luigi was going to the Castle the key fell from the sky into the kart
while he was flying to the castle

I wish we could use the manhole hook to pick the lock and open the door lol
Actually, I kept trying to use the manhole hook every chance I got in my playthrough XD
Funny story, when I was first at Shogun Studios and the Dry Bones were tossing around the item that we needed and they wanted something in exchange for it, I thought I had to give them the manhole hook to toss around and they would give me what I needed
i didnt realize i could give the hook back to that one toad until i was preparing for the olly fight lol

At the beginning of the game you would see something falling out of Sky Pincus and also White promethazine where are the castle. And maybe that kid landed straight into that sort by the way these and now is in there at the end of the game

Theory: Luigi DID get the key himself but he somehow forgot.

Just saying, Olly could have stuck the key in there as well, just to mess with them. Not a good theory, but would have been funny.
