Hi, you cut and edited the video right when you were going to enter the page URL into the test section - why did you skip that part? Love your vid, setting up a music fan and donation website but one issue. My business page and instagram are greyed out saying its connected to another store and catalog. I can't find which store its connected to and can't find how to disconnect it anywhere. And this is the business page I need the pixel for. Any suggestions?? Thanks

due to ios 14 update maximum of your user data won't transfer to pixel properly. That's why you need to set up a Conversion api dynamically & enable datalayer . Then you will get all the data in your pixel.

Yes at times, it might mean you have the pixel installed twice. Try removing any apps that you may have connected your Facebook account to that adds another pixel

My purchase event is firing post purchase when a customer checks the order page. Is there a way to stop this from firing? It is very difficult to track actual purchases and measure my FB ads.
For tracking actual purchase checkout & other events you have to set up your pixel through Google Tag manager. And must setup conversion api (server-side-tracking) dynamically to optimize your ads performance. Thanks.

Don't you have to wait until Facebook reviews your store? I've been waiting for 1 day now and can't do anything until they're done reviewing. DId you guys also have to wait until the review was done?

can you update the videos on datasets, bcoz in fb ads pixels were disabled.
Are you talking about the part in dataset settings where it says that the domain is not part of the allowed list ?

Ideally yes, but if you don't get any sales it won't verify. And often you need to run ads to get your first few sales 😄
