Has anyone else brought up that you can't use the Google Keyword Planner now without setting up a campaign first? Or am I just missing a crucial step?

Excellent content thank you! During the "Write Collection Descriptions" portion of the video you do prompt 3 and then move on to "Creating blogs with ChatGPT" but do not do prompt 4 for the meta description. Should I do a meta description for collections and if so, how many characters?

Question- is a collection description still informing SEO if it isn't visible on the page?
No it's not, it needs to be visible
If I go back in and change some of the "collection" description how do I do the HTML description?
You can do this in the collection page description by using the icons in the text box
Hey, just a quick question. If I have a great detailed Category description for SEO reasons, but choose not to show it on the collection pages of my Shopify collection setting. (it's a bit long and distracting from the products shown on this screen) Do I still benefit from the SEO, Google picking up my key words words, even if they aren't visible from the customer's perspective who is shopping.
It needs to be visible on the page for Google to see it. Id suggest moving it to the bottom of your page under the products
@@theecomacademy Thank you. Just a question on keyword canibalization. If I have say 7 products which are similar, should I try to find different keywords to target for SEO for each. I went down the road of using the same keywords for all of them then realised i'l be competing against myself. What if most of my keywords apply to all my products. Should I leave them in, descriptions etc.
Does it help with Google searches and SEOs to have the 5 bullet points? Or is it ok to ask the AI to do short and sweet descriptions? I feel like it’s making my listings very wordy and repetitive, but if it’s supposed to be like that then that makes sense!
It's a trade off between SEO and readability. I like the bullet points as it quickly outlines the benefits. The long form text is for SEO.
So try and have a combination of both

Just wondering what your thoughts are about being penalised by search engines for using AI-generated content. Is this an issue or not?
Yes it seems like it's becoming more of an issue these days! I'd suggest using chat GPT to write most of it, but rewrite it to make it sound more human
