Maybe it's the best of this lot but I don't care for the table top, fence and meter gauge on the 9 inch. It's if you are going to use it for any serious work, you probably should get the larger Grizzly but they are too heavy for my use. I just wonder why they can't make a decent 9 inch bandsaw. I would pay the extra money at this point. Maybe they think no one would spend that much on a 9 inch bandsaw but then you end up what you pay for. Luckily I got the 9 inch grizzly used and didn't have to spend that much for it to only be disappointed. Maybe I am being too harsh and expected too much. It's not like its unusable. It's ok and does the job within its limitations. It is heavier with lots of metal which is good and doesn't vibrate much like the others. They also didn't include the Fox shop 9 inch which is actually more expensive than the Grizzly. They should have stuck to comparing 9 inch bandsaws to be consistent.
I cannot beleive the overpriced junk you recommend. The only acceptable band saw at 10" size or ( worse ) smaller, is the big brother of the Rikon you recommend. With anything else you are getting junk ( often from same manufacturer but branded differently ( see 9" Ryobi which is marketted across a half dozen brands - all the same junk ). They are fussy; hard to adjust; impossible to align correctly & will deteriorate quickly. After a month or two of 'regular' use you will never be able to cut a straight cut again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Spam. Reading the marketing points is not a review.
How much price
Nice!
Nothing says trustworthy review like having only stock photos and reading out ad copy. Spammers like this should be banned.
no JET???
I doubt being light weight is actually a pro. Light weight could mean more vibration and not as sturdy. The pros should have included cheap price.
Sooo Ryobi doesn’t make the cut
(Pun intended ! 😂)
Your first choice has serious flaws including a fence that is junk.
Grizzly is the best!

I bought a rikon simply on build quality.........

The Wen 3960 is basically the same as the 3939...and it is TRASH!
Anyone who ranks WEN doesn’t know bandsaws.
They're on the list for how good they are for the money. I have a Rikon and Wen bandsaw and the Wen is really great for what you're paying.
